The clone was forced to agree. There were no threatrics going on. Had a single villain suddenly learned subtlety, or was this accidental? The latter seemed so much more realistic it was not funny. Okay, maybe a little funny. His head snapped to the grown man addressing Phoebe, and a scene was developing, till someone shouted from somewhere else in the shop. Robbery, now? Was this the villain...? Things made little sense, but if he himself had had a gun, he would've already acted.
It was now that Jack turned a critical eye to the man addressing Phoebe. The clone was glaring. He was paranoid enough to claim this one more than a creepy stranger. After certain considering, he turned to Phoebe. "...Can you handle it?" The clone asked quietly. Not that he would risk Phoebe being hurt, or the other Kyle child... Or any civillian, either. One thing the clone had not looked for in the cafe was plantlife, and he was not sure if much could be done for that. If need be, he would just sacrifice himself. Armand would be pissed, but everyone but him was expendable in the equation, that was the first rule of being a mere fragment of a person.
The blare of police sirens was beginning to reach their ears. Not long now. The cavalry was coming.

Seeing as no one was doing anything, Vincent got up and sighed. He walked passed Jack and Phoebe towards the villain, looking at him like he was pathetic. Of course, in Vincent's eyes, he was. He was a complete and total disgrace.
"What are you looking at?!" He demanded. Vincent said nothing and punched him in the face. "What the!?" The villain stuttered as Vincent grabbed his arm and pinned him to the ground, using a little bit of his power against the guy to make sure he didn't get out of the hold. As he kept his hold, he disarmed the villain and pulled out a remote used to set off a series of planted bombs.
Suddenly, the police rushed in and saw Vincent. "Who are you?" one of the police demanded.
"You idiot, that's the national Chief of State." The police commander scolded. "Vincent Hugo, it is an honor to see you."
"You flatter me." Vincent replied. "Can you handle him?"
"Yes. Thank you." The police man replied as a few officers grabbed the villain as soon as Vincent released his hold. The villain cursed and swore as he was dragged away.
"If I may be so bold, I was wondering w-what are you doing here?" The police chief asked.
"I had a headache so I just got some tea. That is all." He replied. "Am I not aloud to do normal things?" He asked.
"O-of course you can do normal things! I-it was just curiosity. I swear. Well then, sir, it truly is a pleasure." He replied as if almost groveling at Vincent's greatness before leading the policeman out the door once as they collected the villain and all of his weapons.

Once again Phoebe’s quirky ‘puffer fish’ face was back as she looked from Trent to Jack to Vincent and finally to the police before turning back to Jack with another low whistle of air “that’s….one…way of doing it I guess…”
In all honesty the older Kyle looked well and truly flustered by the ordeal, her thoughts nothing more than a jumbled mess as she replayed the scene over before with a squeak she snapped her attention back on their mysterious ‘civilian’ “You mean a National Chief of State actually does normal things?!”
Her face flushed as her outburst managed to echo a lot louder then she had meant it to, in fact she hadn’t even meant for it to leave her mouth. “I-I just said that out loud didn’t I…” Phoebe looked to Jack and Trent for some sort of confirmation that maybe she imagined her stupid statement actually echoing off the café walls.
(( I must now fall face down into pillows of some sort, g'night x-x))

"Of course I do." He replied with a chuckle, looking at her with his alluring blue eyes. One could hardly look away from them. "I walk, I breath, I talk... just like any other ordinary man." He said, but as he did, there was something about him that seemed almost unnatural. The way his voice and looks drew people in almost gave him an ethereal aura, as if he wasn't even human. A small smile curled upon his face with a slight tilt of his head that made almost all of the girls looking at him blush. "But it appears I caused too much of a ruckus here. I do apologies." He said, gracefully taking her hand and kissing it. He left the money for the drink with a generous tip before turning and looking at Phoebe with a sincere smile. 'Blush, fair maid.' He thought. 'I know you want me. I'm just like a cute, innocent little puppy that you have to take home.'

I don't like this guy. Something seems...off Trent thought to himself while watching Vincent. He then turned to his sister. "You alright?" he asked, worried about her. He ignored the villain being taken away by the police. He was of no concern.

Although Chrome was a very clever girl especially when it came to anything related to Animus, she also had the personality of a ditz, like Candi, thus making her quite forget what they were talking about as well. It's amazing how crazy love had made this girl. Ignoring the girl's last question, she replied to the previous comment. "Yeah, we try so hard to "Barbie up" for these boys. And some simply will not even look. Isn't it sad? When will he look at me that way?", she said with pouty lips and large, hopeful eyes as she looked up at 'Candi'.
"Tch", Spike got up from the floor and got his battered body back to base. The toll on yesterday and today's battles were quite something. But the thug would do. He still had some physical strength left in him although he did go overboard with turning the street into a death trap. He looked back at it before turning and heading back to base.
((OOC: Police~? I didn't think of the prospect of those guys having enough balls to show up and arrest a faction member, but ok O.o" I was gonna leave that to the personality of the mayor =3= ))

'The moment you stop being an obsessive creep.' Candi smiled sweetly back at Chrome, seeming to seriously ponder the question before giving her response. "Sometimes boys can just be so blugh!" Que the exaggerated facial expressions and hand motions to go with her statement. "If he don't feel that way yet, he might just be all thinky-headed 'cuz of some really buggy junk like work or rude peeps all up in his busy-ness. When that, like, becomes a prob, sometimes just being a friend first and letting him vent is all it takes to make his heart go mushy-mush." This, of course, was her intelligence and knowledge of the local hearsay peaking through her facade. It was no secret that Chrome was all hot and bothered for the leader of Animus. Even those completely unrelated to the Animus vs Barbus feud knew that. It was also no secret that there was plenty of bad blood between the two factions. Candi then adopted a somewhat apologetic look as she said, "Oh! Sorry for getting all rambly and talky. That's such an icky habit of mine, I swear."

[Bad cops, bad cops. Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you, bad cops.]
It seemed the man either knew the villain would not attack him, somehow, or was a suicidal maniac. A success one at that, when he did subdue the criminal, and just as the police showed up. The clone, however, was most struck by what he went onward to say. State what now? He shrugged his shoulders at Phoebe's whisper. This was quite... striking.
And it pissed him off. Who on Earth did this guy think he was? So god-frakking arrogant and as creepy as... Oh hell. Jack cocked back his right arm, at the same time he stepped up to Vincent, and sent a ferocious right hand fist towards the man's face.

Creature was almost certain the Barbus member had finished his spree of destruction for the day, so he was finished keeping an eye on him. He sat at the edge of the building and removed his goggles, he pulled his leg up to his chest, he pulled his pant leg up and inspected the wound. Multiple thumbtack sized holes ran down his leg, each of them bleeding profusely. Along with the hole in his hand he felt like swiss cheese, he had to find somewhere to patch himself up, there must have been a drugstore nearby...

Vincent's eyes lit up with alarm when he saw the punch. He tried to dodge, and use his powers, but a shot of pain ran through his brain, and the punch connected, knocking him to the ground. "W-what was that for?" He demanded, rubbing his face. 'Ugg... my brain... it hurts... It's... no, stop!' he told himself. Suddenly a few girls jumped up and ran to help him.
"What did you do that for!" "How could you?" "He saved us!" They yelled at Jack. The ground began quaking as the lights began to flicker wildly.
"P-please, get out of her. Escape while you can." He told them.
"But-" they stuttered, though scared by the tremors.
"Please." he told them, slowly starting to get up. They nodded and evacuated with the others. His eyes were glowing blue as he glared at Jack. "You stupid idiot..." He said, gripping the side of his head. "Unlike most people, I can't control my gifts when my head hurts. You have dug your own grave, you filthy piece of trash." He said as everything around him began shaking and flying around the room in unusual patterns.

"It's OK, my fault for running away blindly... Maybe I can go up somewhere.." Serene dived into the shadows, which is easier said than done. Controlling the shadows was hard enough in daytime, but moving in one is even harder. She'll need to be careful of avoiding the parts of the building that has direct sunlight on it. Climbing up higher onto the building Coil is absorbing energy from, she looked around to find any traces of the library. The Verone Library is a giant building, carefully designed by someone whom Serene never met. Having lived in the library even before the villains took over the city, she was familiar with how the library looks like. "There..." She said to herself, they were going the right way after all. Almost as carefully as she climbed up, Serene was even more cautious on her way down, jumping onto the pavement she nodded to Coil. "Yeah, if we continue walking down this road we should reach the library in ten minutes or so. Let's go." She walked to the direction the library would be, counting in her head as way to relieve her boredom. Serene never interacted with a person before, but she knew being quiet and keeping to herself would only bore Coil. "Um... That facility, what do they do?" Serene asked awkwardly, not having anything else to talk about.

Chrome received a text. It was from an Animus member stating that one of their newbies attacked a cafe and got arrested. 'Hmm... Figures. Might as well leave the dude to rot in prison for a few days. That should teach him. Besides! Why rob a cafe when one could tap the shoulder of his seniors and rob a bank instead? Honestly. These young bloods. I don't know how much more stupid the can get. I'm sure it's also the young-blooded cops that dare lay a finger on an Animus member as well. They too must be punished. I'm sure Asura would like that very much~', Chrome thought to herself, the tone softening towards the end along with her facial expression as she thought of Asura once more. After putting her cellphone away, she looked back at Candi and smiled faintly.
"Yeah, I'm sure you're right. But I've always been there for boss, from the very beginning", she pouted. "And it's okay. Ya know, I think what you said was really smart", she said, keeping the side comments to herself, 'For a bimbo'. She then sighed, "But I think I can't do anything about it. I'm sure he's like this because of Barbus. I mean... Animus and Barbus was also the once great League of Super Villains. Many of the older Barbus and Animus members were friends once upon a time. And JK and I got along well besides the fact that I followed Asura instead of him. I mean...", she sighed. Who was she supposed to pick? Asura. That was for sure. It didn't matter who were her friends before. Any friend of Asura's would be a friend to her. And perhaps that was also the reason JK was so mad at her as well, judging from their previous encounter.
Spike panted as he got on the lounge couch of the Barbus base, kinda mussing it up with his blood and all.
"Eeeiii! Did someone come out looking for a fight again? Boss, guess who's home?", one of the more playful and energetic Barbus members joked as he called over to JK.
"Shut up or I'll impale you", Spike said after casting a rueful glance. The man continued to giggle but backed off. That was very much feasible, considering that Barbus may be very powerful and filled with chaotic powers, but lots of in-faction fighting went on in and out of the spotlight. It could range from petty squabble to all-out duels to the death.

Coil had enough charge to stay on his feet and not feel weak. He cocked his head when Serene asked her question, he wasn't expecting her to ask anything like that, he wasn't expecting her to even say anything in fact, well he had to say something back to her, right? "Well...I'm not exactly sure..." He said, masking how much he really knew "but if you look at me and Voltedge and I'd say they're trying to produce super humans..." To be honest he never knew what the goal of the facility was with these experiments...
