Spinning out it's way in the nick of time she avoided the droid's last attack...beads of sweat were glistening on her forehead...her injuries worse than she like and the strain of the battle wreaking it's havoc...she needed to draw on the Force for strength

She missed as she lunged at the droid with her lightsaber - the next hit was crucial

She landed the strike (Thank you Obi Wan!) If she could land her next hit...the battle would be over...if not..she feared...it was her demise which awaited - she made her move a round-off kick followed by a Force strike

It was win or die - she readied herself for what she knew was her last chance to defeat this mechanical monster...if she missed now she knew the battle was his! She once again drew her lighsaber and using her Ataru stance made several rapid strikes

The tears streamed down her face...she had done it! She had won! She collapsed in a heap and weakly called out "Medics! I need the Medics...passing out with a smile on her face!

As he had predicted, Kay's confusing movements had left the droid swinging wildly before approaching to loom over him. The droid swing down at him, and he rolled to the side, avoiding not only the droids attacks, but his own.

The droid, having made the predictable move and finding itself in the exact position Kay had been only a moment before. The exact point where his thrown sabers were returning to. Completing their round trip, both plunged neatly into the attacking droid's back and piercing through all kinds of vital (expensive gonk ) machinery.
