The Problem with the world today.(Need a Red!!!!/ACCEPTING!)

Today gets weirder and weirder. Nick thought as he took a seat inside the sub, figuring he'd let everyone else mingle about and have their various conversations. In the meantime, he'd rest up, maybe clean his rifle, something. Nick just hoped the trip wouldn't take too long.

Alex looked in awe at the gem. "My my....never have I seen such a beautiful stone. But we will continue this conversation once we are safely docked in the city." He said as he turned and exited the sub as the door closed behind him. He jumped onto the water's surface next to Marcus and nodded. Marcus smiled. "Now then...to the bottom of the ocean!" He said as he did a spin and transformed into his merman form before diving under the water. Alex smiled and whistled to the sub as the sub began it's decent under the waves. He looked to Skye and smiled."Best thing to do is dive with a spin, this way you can suck air into your bubble, if you start to run out look for bubbles and spin again to draw in more air. Have faith in the flow and the water will go with you." He said as he dove head first after the Merman.

Skye nodded to both Marcus and Alexander. She let out a deep breath to calm her anxiety. This would be a first for her, heading so far down into the ocean and for so long. After a small moment to herself, she spun and dove into the water like Alex had instructed. Once under the surface, she made sure she had enough air within the bubble she encased herself in and followed Marcus and Alex downward. Looking around at her surrounding, she could see the differences between the surface and the ocean. Down here, everything felt more serene to her.

Marcus looked over at Skye and smiled. "Do you feel right at home down here?" He said smiling a sharp toothy grin. "You seem my dear, it doesn't matter where you come from or who you are...what matters is that everyone who has a strong faith in themselves to move water and freeze the air is family." He said as Alex swam next to them. "You will always have a home and safe haven down under the waves...."

Skye smiled at both of them. "Yeah...There's a feeling of familiarity down here and I feel more relaxed. It's good to know that I have a second home." she said before looking towards the sub wondering how the others are holding up. "So we're escorting, right? Shall we get going?" The rest of the group would probably feel better if they got to their destination sooner. She then instinctively turned towards the direction of where they needed to go and started moving forward. She could feel it, the guidance she needed to the city beneath the waves.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys

The roar of an engine filled the air of one of the roads of Constapolis. The sound was deep and thunderous unlike many of the vehicles that graced the roads currently. After a few moments the source came around the corner and the reason for the roar of the engine. The culprit, an old 78 model trans am firebird special edition that was easy to tell had been given a new engine under it's hood. The vehicle, slowing to a crawl as it turned into a parking garage came to a stop as one of the security guards came up to the window. After a moment of idling the window was lowered and a soft white hand produced a badge from within the vehicle. The guard after checking it and looking at the driver gave a nod as the gate was opened and she was let inside of the building.

After awhile a soft clacking filled the hallway that connected the building to the parking garage. A woman with striking green hair and a pair of deep blue eyes slowly trotted through the building her heels clicking loudly on the tile floor. In her right hand a rather large document folder was held a single word written across it's front 'Secret'. Since she had come back from her last mission Mizori had been given time to rest and had only just recently arrived back after receiving a call asking for her presence. She had wondered a bit at the suddenness of the call but pushed it aside. Her father was always like that so she had come to expect it tho usually she would have more time off but that didn't concern her to greatly.

"Excuse me. Miss Shirayuki" a voice called from behind the woman as one of the department lab workers walked up to her. "Professor Tachibana has sent you another dose of medicine" The man said slowly pulling what looked to be a cigarette case from his pocket handing it to the woman. "They have given a slight increase to the medicine's potency from testing but they were unable to do much about the taste I am afraid. The professor said the same thing as always that the taste is not what is important, only the result of it. Maybe if you keep it up you can wear the old man down" the man said smiling before giving a small bow and excusing himself.

"What a shame" Mizori muttered opening the case as she looked at it's contents. A large number of thin leaves where within it. Picking one out of the container she brought it to her mouth and began to nibble on it. Scrunching up her nose slightly the horrifically bitter taste swarmed her taste buds as she did her best to quickly choke down the leaf. A process she had still after her birth not gotten used to. The medicine a poison strong enough to likely kill others was what kept the girls body in check one of the side effects of not being a part of a host tree that all dryads usually needed to be with. Turning she put the rest of the case in her pocket as she continued onwards to the meeting room.

Marcus smiled as the two swam after her. The sub began moving after them. "Good to see she's taking a quick liking to the water." He said to alex who simply chuckled

Evan walked to a nearby window and looked outside. "Woaah.... I never knew how amazing the ocean was." He said as he saw groups of fish and other water creatures swim past the sub

A black van rolled up to a crater as several men got out followed by Mare. "Oh Morrison...I told you not to underestimate them.." He said as the men helped the old priest into the van. "Take him back to the main building...It's almost time for the weekly progress report anyway. Get him awake by that time." He instructed as the van pulled away. He kneeled down and looked at the crater before running his hand over it. His hand glowed black as several colors flowed up from it and into his hands. "Hmm...." He said as he stood back up. "Already? two of them feel so powerful....We may have to move faster..." He said as he turned and started walking back towards the Unitech building

Looking outside of the sub from the window next to him Joe exhaled slowly. Sleep and fatigue were again tugging at him as he listened to what a few of the other occupants had to say to one another. His eyes drooped slightly as he lay his head against the viewing window next to him. He could just see Skye ahead of them moving thru the water accompanied by Marcus and Alexander. Slowly closing his eyes Joe's breathing slowed as he was again pulled into slumber, his body trying to fully recover from the events from earlier.

Mare walked into the meeting room and sighed. With a flick of his wrist several monitors turned on revealing maps and new stories and other tings. six monitors descended as four turned on. Mare sat down in his chair and rubbed the bridge of his nose before a doctor ran in the meeting room and whispered something. "Tell the professor to inject Morrison with a stronger dose of CC-01. Apparently, his form isn't enough to over power mere children." He said sternly as the doctor bowed before leaving the room. A intercom chimed and a green light flashed on his chairs arm rest indicating that Mizori has returned and he simply smiled. "Well, at least my daughter has never failed me....I'm sure she'll have wonderful news for me." He said as a butler rushed in with a tray and a drink for the industrialist.

Getting infront of the meeting room Mizori looked at the doctor that was moving out of the room and heading off past her. She remembered him somewhat as one she had seen a few times in the labs growing up but payed him no mind as she reached the door. The door knob twisted and with a click was opened from the outside as Mizori walked inside of the meeting room. Her eyes scanning it for a moment. Her gaze stopped on each of the monitors for a moment before finally resting on Mare. A green slowly grew across the girls face as she stepped fully into the room closing the door behind her with a click. Walking over to the table Mizori sat the file down on it before pulling the chair back and seating herself.

Mare looked at Mizori and smiled. "Hello my dear," He greeted as another man walked in and sat down in a chair with his head covered in bandages. "Good ahead and remove the bandage's father....you should find that this new form will be more...appealing towards combat." He said smiling.

Morrison removed the bandages and toke a breath. He suddenly looked younger, about 35 years younger than his previous appearance. "Thank you sir....your medicine is truly amazing." He said smiling.

Mare nodded as four silhouettes appeared on screen. "Ah, well now that everyone is here...we have much to discuss." He said as he rested one leg on the other's knee and began slowly shaking his foot. "I'm sure many of you have seen the updates and news broadcasts concerning the events and fights involving our ally Morrison here." He said gesturing to the man. "Unfortunately, it seems that we underestimated a couple of these terrorists..." He said as he flicked his wrist as white and purple energy flowed from his hands. "These two colors were drawn from where Morrison was found after the incident. We do not have faces for these people..." He said sternly. "And, due to his old age during the fight, Morrison has suffered amnesia after taking such a beating..." He said as his eyes narrowed when he looked to the priest. "We do not know....where these terrorists are heading...." He said sighing. "So...if anyone has annny information to present....please do so now."

Crossing her legs as she listened to what was being said Mizori looked towards the screens then towards the priest. A detestable man but one her father had employed so around him she would need to show good face. Tapping the container in her pocket as she sat there Mizori's mind wandered some what not listening much to Mare's talk about the terrorists until he said something about information. "Fat-" she started before coughing some what to cover her mistake in words. "Mr. Mare. I have some information about these children that may prove valuable. One of my sources has given me information that the Mermaid has left the city." Pushing the file that she had across the table to Mare she shifted in her seat. Inside the file was all the infomation that had been gathered about Marcus Zalo up to four hours prior to the meeting they where in currently. "Someone like him making a move out of the city is something that should be looked at as suspicious do you not think?"

Mare looked at the file and raised an eyebrow. "Marcus? That's a name I haven't heard in decades...." He said as he began thinking before looking to Mizori. "Mermen jumping town is not uncommon....everyone once in awhile they must return to the sea or face becoming a full fledged human...." He said smiling. "However...this one in particular, is a very....curious case." He said smirking before chuckling. "You see...he has been in this city for as long as I can remember.." He said as he stood up and picked up the files and went through them. "Find out where he has gone....The nation's natural environments have been preventing us form putting foot holds in the capitals. Maybe he is our ticket to establishing a connection with the city under the waves"

Looking at each of the monitors slowly a small smirk played across Mizori's lips. The other executives currently were useless in this aspect. She had information networks that could go deeper then even Mare was able to run. "I have an associate that has been tailing this man for some time. When she returns to her nest I can find where this man has gone." The agent Mizori spoke of was a sparrow, one of the many that fluttered about the city. "She should be returning soon. When I receive the information I will be assured to relay it and await your orders." The smile slowly fell away from Mizori's mouth as she looked over at Morrison. Hopefully if she was able to get the information she could keep from having him partnered with her in finding these terrorist they were looking for.

Mare smiled."Excellent. I await to hear from your agent Mizori." He looked to Morrison with a stern look. "Morrison, return to the Vatican, we must convince them to allow us access to their resources if we want to keep the world safe from these terrorists...with this news I'm sure convincing the nation leaders will be even easier." He said as looked to the other monitors. "Do any of you have anything to report?" The four other executives gave their reports stating many of the nation leaders were starting to sway. Mare smirked and clapped his hands together. "Oh! there is one more thing I am forgetting..." He said before looking to Mizori. "We do have a new foot hold location! Thanks to our green executive...we now have a branch of operations in the Jungle nation of Fayewood. We have already began sending support to protect the nation from their troublesome desert neighbors that live around that constant storm covered mountain." He said smiling. "We have much work to do....many species are feral and wild and threaten the safety of the cities that lie in every nation...and even this city." He said seriously. "Unitech will unite these nations and their races in order to bring about a new age and, with your help, We can do it." He said proudly. You all are doing wonderful work...keep it up!" He said as he stood up and bowed. "Meeting Adjourned." He said as the monitors turned off. "Morrison, head down to the lab. The techs will give you the shipments to the Vatican." He instructed as Morrison bowed and left the room. Mare looked to Mizori and smiled before taking a deep breath. "Now that the riff raff is away." He said before opening his arms wide for a hug. "My dear...you have down a wondrous job! I'm so proud!"
