Monica hesitated for a moment, thinking about it herself. She then looked Damien in the eyes and nodded her head.

Damien let out a long exhale and looked away. He held his hands together behind his back as he looked out a window. "I guess..." he said, then turned back to Monica, "...that we'll all need to get tested then. I'd prefer not to have a needle stuck into me, but if it will tell me that I've been infected with something that is killing me slowly, I think I could deal with it. So it is, then. All top members are to have a blood test performed on them. This is my order. Of course, this also means us. We should put my brother in there too, just to be safe." Damien thought for a moment. "What about the twins? Do you think they're fine?" he asked.

"And just a suggestion. If indeed we too are infected, those that aren't should be interrogated for conspiracy", Monica mentioned. Like most people, she too only had a blood test or medical check-up once a year. Whatever it was that afflicted Jian was hopefully reversible.

"And those that seem to not want the test performed will also be deemed suspicious" Damien said. "We won't say why it's being done, only that all are to have it". With that, Damien took out a form to make it official. He sent Monica off to get things ready. Once Damien signed and sealed the form, he ordered the soldier who took the twins to bring them back, then to take the form to be documented.

The twin were led back into the room and looked up at Damien. "Yes sir?" They asked, looking up at their father's worried expression.

The Diethelm doctors received the notice and started preparations for the blood test. They received word that they needed to look for the chemical, but they had no idea how to track it since the technology wasn't as advanced as Mt. Angelo's knowledge.

Damien shook away the worried expression and smiled at them. "I'm just glad you came to see me. I take if you've finished your studies then" he said to them.

'Yes sir!" They smiled at him.
"Oh..." Victor said, rummaging through the bag.
"Oh, that's right..." Valkyrie said, doing likewise. They pulled out their report cards with perfect '100's in every subject except in PE. In PE, they both had low 'Bs'.

Damien took their report cards and read them. "Very good. I see you didn't do as well in gym class. That's alright. Neither did I" he said, then gave the report cards back. "Well, you're here, you're safe, and I think very soon, you shouldn't have to worry about members of your family trying to harm you anymore" he added.

"R-really?" They smiled. "Thank you very much!"

Damien smiled and nodded. "When Mr. De Varill returns, he should have good news. So what have you two been up to for the past week or so?" he asked.

"Studying for tests..." Valkyrie started.
"And making new designs..." Vincent nodded.
"Soo...." Valkyrie trailed off.
"How have you been d-daddy?" Vincent stuttered.

"I'm good. Diethelm's been doing really well since Helmshire surrendered. I just wish the Chief General would get out of his coma. He's still in one" Damien sighed.

"Oh..." They trailed off, looking at each other, then at their father. They knew they won't be able to help with that, but they wondered if they could do something to cheer their father up.

Damien shrugged. "Well, the doctors are doing the best they can, so that's all we can hope for" he said. Damien didn't like feeling powerless. It was so...unfamiliar. He then looked at the twins, wanting to change the subject. "So what are your new designs?" he asked.
