→→The samurai did not move, even as before him his opponents shifted and moved, fought and felt, twitched and readied themselves against him. What would be the point in facing them now, when they were so clearly beneath his notice in power and ability? He was half tempted to cut through the crystal, but that would require utilizing something he would rather save for the opponent he was truly after. Inhaling softly, readying himself to speak, he was interrupted by a startled oath from behind him. Still remaining still, he waited and steeled himself, knowing what came next.

→→The boy's eyes widened as he noticed his technique being disrupted by the boy who hated his master so much, but what came after was nearly a blur as he focused inwards on what he would do. In this state of mind words only crawled across the edges of his awareness, and while they were listened to and remembered it was an automatic process that left him free to plan. Except everything came crashing down when one of the group outside mentioned breaking his hands. Fists clenched into knots as he threw himself out of his thoughtful respite, yet before he could react his flesh began to burn, began to hurt and itch and crack as something began to spread over it. Everything slowed as his eyes darted downwards, widening at the crystal trying to climb up his face. Looking up, he saw the handsigns, saw the girl with pink hair speak of stifling his life breath, and everything turned red.
→→The ground quaked for an instant from the impact of the boy's chakra bursting from his body in the form of crackling, electrical armor. With it came a roar of rage, and the intensity of the chakra blazing across his skin would stop the crystal, for Shouton did not work on Chakra. Eyes burning with anger, he hauled back on his right fist, a crackling ball of chakra forming where his fist once was, before he unleashed an absolute barrage at the barrier. The first strike, moving faster than an untrained eye could possibly see, struck the crystal with six balls of energy. Six simultaneous attacks at once would overwhelm the barrier, shattering it to pieces with an impact that would leave an aftershock. Yet that wasn't all, for the power of his technique allowed him two more strikes with similar alacrity. One fist flew out and six spheres of incredible force flew at Mui, whom he considered the greater threat, while his last attack, a mimic of the previous two, came from his right fist as he struck the ground at an angle. The resulting blast cracked the floor of the dojo and sent debris, and dust, flying in all directions that would surely knock off their feet anyone too slow to catch the attack coming. At the center of his attack, the boy dropped into a crouch, one hand extended forward along with the matching leg while the other hand was brought up to defend the side of his head should an attack come. The whites of his eyes showed around the sheer blackness that had existed before as he snarled at those who stood before him.

→→ Miyamoto kept his eyes on the boy with swords, the one whom had acted brashly in this situation. Of course, his words were meant for the boy instead. "That was an ill choice of action, Jason. You should have let Larath deal with it." Sighing quietly, he finally lowered his right hand to one of the blades on his hip, his expression annoyed. "While my student would clearly seek to murder you all, I still hope for peaceful resolution. I swear by the honor of my name, Miyamoto Musashi, the CCCXXVIII ("328") to be called as such, that I will allow you to flee should one of you simply point the way to Kaileer's resting place."

Everyone else kai'd out of the genjutsu, but since no one bothered to help the genin monk, Mui heard a feminine voice ask him, "Aren't the clouds beautiful?" Then, his body began to feel like it was floating, like everything in the room faded into the distance and he was joining the clouds the village was named for. It was a feeling of ease and bliss to the hot-headed shinobi's mind.
((OOC: Trafalgar, the 'baby face' enemy's punch is directed at you. You're welcome to have it hit you, if you don't find a way to escape the genjutsu. It will knock you out of it, if you're hit.))
Kumo Yotogi [Cloud Watching] - D Once this Genjutsu is cast, colors from the target’s perspective lose their harshness and a peaceful, serene feeling washes over him or her. The target feels completely relaxed and at ease, and then the user triggers the second stage by saying something along the lines of “The clouds are so nice and free…” When this happens, the target begins to get the feeling of becoming a cloud, and rising up to join the others in the sky. This Genjutsu is useful because it can make the target off-guard.
Halting his strike when he saw Mui move to intercept the liquid metal Seiji halted.
Quiet eyes surveyed the battlefield and the colours returned to him as the others sprung him, via kai, from a genjutsu he had only been dimly aware of, but not awakened to. Looking to Hatsu for the briefest of moments he saw the reflection in her eyes of the boy, Jason he was called, breaking free of the crystal prison spawned by Hanna. Their words and actions had enraged him, brought him to fearing and fighting for his life. Still the young Samurai stood, his mind contemplative, but wholly in the moment. As the crystal shattered and the boy dashed for the one member of their team still bedazzled by the distant cast genjutsu, he moved into action. Cold eyes scanning the area around him as he saw that Miyamoto had no intention of assault, he dove to protect his squadmate.
He whispered a mantra of flame and met the opponent in the middle ground, his left hand darting forward to snatch the extended arm of Jason. Should he make contact he would roll into the boy's directional assault, redirecting him down into the ground by virtue of a sudden, and vicious kick placed beneath his guarded side, meant to wrench the entirety of his momentum in a different direction. From which Seiji would carry on his own momentum past the boy as he careened into the ground, those cold eyes scanning the battlefield once more as he refused to waste any movements beyond the necessary.
As he placed himself into this position between the boy and his teammate, however, Seiji finally spoke to everyone, instead of just the opponent that had presented themselves.
"Genin, stand down. . . Miyamoto, call your student to stand down as I have my own." The head of the Hattori house called over to the other samurai, an air of unearthly chill seeming to spread from him.
Seiji approached the moment at hand with the training and mindset that an enemy could be defeated without bloodshed, but still he kept his blade drawn and eyed the pair suspiciously. They had a third somewhere that had affected them without so much as being seen. Keeping these details in mind the Hattori focused on his genin. At this rate, perhaps himself and Hanna could keep combat going, but the others were not ready for everything that was to come. Not yet.
"We don't flee, you came into our house. But Kaileer also is not in the village currently. He had a clone in his office earlier, but he was tending to village affairs in The Village of Artisans." Seiji spoke, his voice clear and his posture resolute.
"Hatsu, wake our friend the monk up. Miko, scan for any injured besides our own. Hanna, steel yourself." The proud samurai spoke.

A feeling of euphoria waved over Mui; he had remembered now. He was in a battle before. Two strangers had interrupted the fight between Seiji and him and had asked for Kaileer. Then, it was at that moment, that the blissful thoughts started occuring. It was peaceful. Mui couldn't have cared less about the situation happening right now; the voice that spoke out to him intensified his calm.
"You're the one who decides how to live your life."

Rushing up to Mui who still seemed in a daze, Hatsu would throw up hand signs and stop in between Mui and his assailant. Due to her height versus the giant, she would place her hand on his belly, releasing him from his genjutsu restraints. "Stay." The cold touch of the Shinsetsu's hand would chill Mui as she guarded with her kunai in front of her. It wasn't much, but Mui could do more in a fight than Hatsu could at this point, and she needed to keep him safe regardless.

This aura does not stretch far from one's person, and only the Shinsetsu and those in direct contact with him/her can truly appreciate the feeling. Because of this attribute, humidity is a foreign concept to the Shinsetsu, and only the most extreme of heats will cause those within tsumetai's effect to break a sweat. Additionally, this consistent cold has weathered their skin and innards, providing an internal and external resistance to freezing temperatures. Although not exactly topical, it should be noted that thanks to their relaxing aura, the Shinsetsu are considered some of the most desirable lovers in the world.

✰ Just as things seemed to be looking up...well lets just go with someone should have their foot shoved in their mouth. Miko though not being outright called out or even looked to in this event as the cause took it as a poor play on her part to communicate her detrimental intent for the younger intruders hands. From what she could tell the charka she'd sensed in her from before must of been whatever this explosion of power was. Just when I frigen think I've gotten a hang of this crud they just keep coming up with more things to throw at us. Miko's thoughts would trail to as the throbbing pain of her leg though not severely ruined would set in as she'd taken the cheap way out of the genjutsu, which now was a lot more narrow in terms of her assumptions as to whom it was coming from.Though in the midst of all this personal reflection a clash would occur on a level Miko herself was far from being a match for. The two of them were insanely fast and it would seem like one blur would smack into the sparkly one.
Meanwhile in the middle of all that Hatsu not being as slow to physical action as miko would already be on the defensive. She seemed to be the powerhouse for such maneuvers, well from Miko's perspective given her first hand account of Hatsu's ability to steadily block her attacks (though honestly not very taxing of the other kunochi's skills if she was being honest with herself). Miko would tense and almost reach out to keep what she'd subconsciously figured was her last line of defense in the midst of all this, but Saiji seemed well prepared to counter the attack and at least grant Mui...Oh crap Mui, Hanna didn't!? Bracing her hand on her wounded leg and turning hard in his direction Miko woudl see Hatsu go to Mui's Defense. Which in the grand scheme of things and his clear shared ability with the younger intruder now that she sorted her thoughts on that she'd saw him as a pretty useful asset over herself who had been wounded. Hobbling to the side towards Mui and Hatsu keeping up her awareness of the field with her heightened sense of touch. Her range with this sensory ability was much shorter, but it was a way to keep herself alert to her surroundings and sharpen her physical abilities. When everything was said and done some of the water had receded back and Miko was trying to rest up a bit and use her head while Seiji called for what seemed to be a truce.
Ever the skeptic Miko wouldn't just leave it at that, well at least in her head she wouldn't. There were many things unanswered and the intentions of the given intruders were clearly hostile towards the Raikage, but it was first time Miko heard news of this clone business. What kind of clone has physical properties? the very idea was intriguing to miko. Though drag out of her own head Saiji's words brought focus tot he kunoichi who's thoughts ran a mile a minute, and in this state didn't help her much if she couldn't decide on where to aim all her brain power. All in all she was just running in circles here thinking about the third person to this intruding band and the mystery of the swordsman who seemed unaffected by Hanna's scary a** jutsu. "Huh, uh...yeah. Sorry, I was a bit taken back by everything. I'm on it...Oh and Saiji...thanks for the saving Mui, but you should know there was someone from earlier I noticed heading this way. Just, strolling along. They had a kekkei genkai I'd never come across before. I think that might be the person behind the genjutsu, Shingan. Once more using her sensory abilities Miko would scan the expanse of the village just to clear an update of the things going on around her.

Hanna would grumble as her crystal wouldn't be able to grow anymore. So she decided to push it inwards into the male's skin. If she could get it into his bloodstream and crystallize that. There would be one down. As she directed the crystal she made sure she moved in with her comrades. Further away from the open door.
Another B rank of movement so any crystal that is on the smaller male's face is now trying to move inward

→→Lunging for the punch only brought immediate and painful retribution to the man now named Jason. Ending up on the earth was painful enough, the damage to his ego more so, but those were only momentary thoughts, only a brief exclamation of surprise before they turned to screams of agony. Grabbing at the few places where the crystal had remained on his body, he hooked his fingers underneath their edges, digging into his flesh and spilling blood, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't pull it off, or the shards out. "They're lying! Kill them!" The words burst from the boy's mouth, the first he had spoken so far, his voice deep for one his age and filled with agony beyond mere words. But then, how else would one sound when crystals were digging into your face?

→→Miyamoto looked up at Seiji, eyes meeting eyes, and nodded, raising a hand and opening his mouth to agree to the terms. Until the screams. Until the attack continued despite the order. As much as he was wanting this to end without bloodshed, it seemed one of them did not, and that was all it would take. Lowering his hand, he continued watching Seiji as he spoke. "I am sorry, as should you be." The words barely left his mouth before he stepped forward about two feet and stood completely still. There was a noise like a ricochet, followed by the earth ripping upwards and enveloping him, and Jason, in stone.
→→And something landed right at Hanna's feet, something that, for an instant, looked like an arrow. And instant only, for a moment later the object erupted in fire and force, likely blowing everything away, for it obliterated the Dojo in that instant and sent pieces of debris flying through the air to pepper the surrounding area.
→→And what had Miko saw, when her technique took place? She would have seen everything, same as before, except for a glowing sun of chakra about thirty feet above their heads, and moving rapidly as only an arrow could. She saw Miyamoto burst with a form of chakra never before seen, saw the arrow somehow change, bend, and fly in a different direction. She would see the earth rise up with that same odd chakra, rise up and dome itself over the two opponents. All before the arrow landed, and erupted into the burst.

As he heard Jason begin to scream, Seiji turned to face Hanna in reprimand. He began to speak, his tone as he spoke the name of the woman one of ice, but then he heard the man speak and heard the upheaval of stone. Eyes upon Hanna he witnessed the arrival of the arrow and thrust a hand forward, his ambient chakra building and constricting the particles of water in the air and throughout the ground around the projectile, freezing it solid, beginning near Hanna's feet, then freezing back in his direction, freezing the water between him and the impulsive gennin who had ignored his order to stand down.
The explosion coming from the arrow would be sudden and unexpected to Seiji, but he kept his composure, even as the burst of flames fractured the ice he had encased it in and spider-webbed the structure of the ice between them only to shatter it moments later, though preventing the utter destruction of the Dojo itself, for the moment. Though now extensive damage was done from the floor facing upheaval in their solid defense, as well as the sudden explosion beneath Seiji's Hyouton Ice. As pieces of the ice burst forth from the initial explosion Seiji held his position, even as shrapnel tore past him, and Hanna, and cut his cheek twice and the sudden influx of heat on the lesser shielded side, towards him, left burn marks upon his left hand and blew back his kimono, not damaging it, but leaving his chest bare on the right side of his body.
Seiji's composure held solid as glacial ice.
"Hanna, I said Stand down." The head of the Hattori clan spoke as he looked to the others in the area between them and the spider-webbed ice.
"My blood runs with ice, Miyamoto, I don't feel sorrow for the actions of my subordinates. 'Understand thoroughly how a small body can be large in spirit, and know completely how a large body can be small in spirit; whether large or small, set your mind straight - having a mind that is not controlled by your body is essential.'" Seiji spoke, however, as he turned to face the earthen domes.
"In any situation to become settled or fixed is bad. Work this out diligently." He spoke, then motioning to Hatsu and the others.
"Hatsu, flood them from within, Miko, utilizing your Kugutsu like you did versus my sister, bring Kunai to surround their earthen coffins. Hanna, Surround their 'coffins' in Crystal. Mui, rest." The Hattori spoke, deftly taking point with his fellow genin.
Stepping forward he placed his hand forward and made another seal, freezing the air around the earth that the pair had covering them. Though as he took a look to the structure around them, the genin probably did not have long before the room began to crumble.

Mui came to just as Jason fell to the floor and screamed in agony. Mui, still relatively dazed and confused, took a second to look around. Hatsu and Miko were near him, Seiji was near one of the strangers, and Hanna..it took a few moments to register, but once Mui realized that Hanna was the reason for Jason's cries, his eyebrow raised. Looks like she's not totally useless after all.
That's when time began to slow.
"They're lying! Kill them!"
Huh? Lying about what? Mui, knocked out with the genjutsu, had no knowledge of any agreement made between Seiji and Miyamoto. But the way Jason screamed, the way his eyes looked. They seemed urgent. Spiteful. The boy noticed that Seiji turned to Hanna abruptly in a scolding manner.
"I am sorry, as should you be."
Mui's heart began to speed up; he had always had a knack for sensing when things were bad. He was a good person reader, and the expression on Miyamoto's face gave Mui a reason to worry.
The earth began to crumble, and, in moments, the two strange men were surrounded by a tomb...no, more like a barrier.
An arrow, white, landed itself at Hanna's feet.
Mui's body was already turned towards her at this point. His arms were stretched, his chakra was feeling around for the gold in his gourd. The monk, at first, was relieved at seeing the arrow at Hanna's feet, and he slowly lowered his guard. The arrow had obviously missed the girl. All they needed to do was trace the origin of it, and the third enemy would reveal itself. This third enemy probably was also responsible for the genjutsu.
The two strangers were still in their little shield.
Realization. The arrow was something more.
Seiji jumped towards Hanna.
Mui's heartbeat became more irregular.
"Sh*t."
Audible, and perhaps uttered a split second before the explosion happened, Mui's curse was filled with realization and confusion at the same time. He didn't know yet what to expect from the arrow, but on instinct, he grabbed Hatsu - who was right in front of him - and Miko. He covered them, hugged them, and turned around, his back now turned towards Seiji, Hanna, the strangers, and the arrow. The stature of the boy was big, but not big enough to completely shield the two girls from the blast. They would escape with injuries, depending on what the thing was.
Mui's guess was a volley of arrows. It proven correct, the boy would have an easy fix. His gold was in his gourd; a simple barrier would protect them against any sharp tips. Seiji seemed to be in control of things, so he must have had a jutsu to protect him and Hanna from such a thing. Overall, a pain, but nothing that would kill the group of genin.
The giant genin heard cracks. Then, explosion.
The blast wasn't nearly as bad as expected - Seiji's doing, no doubt - but Mui escaped far from unscathed; at some point, his gourd fell off his back and to the floor. Dozens of ice shrapnel gorged themselves into his exposed back, digging themselves in deeper with every breath. His robe was torn off now, and blood was pouring from his back. He was knocked to his knees, but luckily took the brunt of the attack for Hatsu and Miko. His body was more durable than most; afterwards, he would definitely need to see a medic nin, but he wasn't in any critical state as of yet.
The sight was scary. Angered and shirtless, the 6'6 man turned to look back at the two other kumo ninja.
"Rest?"
He looked back at Seiji without getting up.
"You want me to f*cking rest?!?!?"
Obviously not the best time for a petty argument, but it was Mui's character.

What happened next seemed to happen in slow motion for Hatsu. The arrow, the ice and Mui's attempt at a defense. After he let go, Seiji would giva out orders and Hatsu nodded, throwing up hand seals. What would fill the room up to everyone's ankles would surely fill up a tiny hollow dome. After the deed was done, Mui would question Seiji's order. Being behind the tall man, Hatsu jumped up and pulled on Mui's ponytail, then fell back to the floor. "Oi, no arguing during battle, tall stuff. I don't want to see you do something stupid." She would then take a step back for in case the giant man wanted to swing at her.

✰ Miko in the midst of her concentration to perform her Jutsu would begin the jutsu, but it would only come tot he limits of spanning a map in her mind of the village, but suddenly her body would feel the embrace of something over it, and snapping her eyes open she'd feel and see Mui's body pressed over her and Hatsu, throwing the lot of them back as the footing beneath them became compromised and fell in on it's self. All she'd notice was glimpse and vauge feelings of things that were already known. Something powerful was still looming and something unseen was still about, Damn it just stating the obvious. Miko wasn't sure what exactly happened, but when she'd reared up to more harshly ask why Mui was all over her and Hatsu's person. She'd notice he wasn't doing so well as he was before, like worse than when Seiji gave him a wallop. Again Seiji's voice would come over barking out marching orders to try and draw the teams actions together. Hatsu seemed perfectly ready to jump to and get back at it even though there was sure to be a few cuts among them even with the meat shield Mui's muscles provided the lot of them. Though a bit concerned Miko could understand Mui's annoyance, but the plan hadn't really changed or at least what she'd came to the assumption of before the bombs went off. Mui's ability was something that they would need in the future. Him resting up was a priority for future tactics.
Though Seiji came to that quicker trough either is own reasons or he was more instinctual and attuned to his enemies abilties than miko's dependent need to build a case towards an agree able counter or action. All she knew was she wouldn't argue, but she didn't feel safe in this dojo and outside, the likely place it came from wasn't an option, they needed to regroup, get a fresh angle. Yet, Seiji's orders were to surround and and press the enemy in their possible retreat. Might as well say what you've got to say, "Mui, Hatsu lets just focus up a bit, And Seiji I'll cover the rocks but we may need to regroup, Direct combat is good and all but I'm a lot more effective at a long distance or in the shadows.With the number of variables..." She'd be conducting her task or taking what remaining Kunai she'd had senbon and shuriken and using a thread from each finger to set up ten projectiles around the domes in a equal distance from open another to close any openings if they tried to move above or on the ground, yet if the tunneled out Miko didn't' have very many means to stop it."Just...ya know,don't bare this all on your own kay. We can make the time to better orgainze if they make the mistake of giving us the chance, but if we're hit with another one of those, blind...I'm not sure how we'll handle it. Miko's small attempt at contributing to her leaders thought process but who knew what things ran trough a man who literally was just burned up a bit by a bomb, numbing his pain with ice.

Hanna didn't really hear what Seiji had to say but she could see by the look on his face he was none too happy. The voices were telling her so many things she wished they would just shut up and give her a break. But it seemed the lower on chakra she got the less she could hold them back. That's when she was hit by the explosion. Not deadly, thanks to Seiji, just concussive. She would land not too far back and let her head hang for a little bit. She shook her head as her ears went to ringing and her head went to pounding. She then noticed a few ice shards in her legs. Her own blood was removing itself from her body. She gave a chuckle and an even bigger smile at her injuries, time for fun. She continued her little chuckle she could see herself within her mind getting ever closer to that dark abyss where they were. When her hearing came back she did as Seiji said directing the crystal that was already near the men around the coffin like structure. "Dead, dead time to die." She giggled and sang. She was running fairly low on chakra now, but did she care.....nope.

→→The black ice absorbed the blow, or at least most of it, but the ground beneath it was obliterated. Fortunately the ground held up, mostly, though as the roof slowly collapsed above, and likely would continue coming down, it proved less and less a boon from someone on high. The stone that surrounded the two enemies remained firm, dense and strong, until it dissolved and came apart into vaporized dust. While the process took only moments, what remained would likely ingrain itself in their minds for longer: they were gone.

→→Outside, there came a sudden scream of pain, of sorrow and loss. A shout that also came with a blast of raw chakra that blew the flames from the explosion out in an instant. Outside, clearly visible through the holes left over from the previous attack, Miyamoto knelt over the body of his apprentice, who lay with glazed, open eyes with an expression not quite right, though filled with agony. Stiff, unmoving, and blood spreading slowly out in a pool around him, Miyamoto screamed his name, shaking him over and over, tears spilling down his face as he bawled. Raising his face to the sky his voice turned to fury as he shouted, his words thundering over every sound in the district. "You promised their lives would be intact! You swore our mission would end in peace! And now Jason is dead! I demand recompense! I demand their lives!"

-----σut of the residential district and onto the main streets, I wasted no time getting to the dojo, instead using shunshin to travel the distance quickly. And the sight I was greeted with brought back memories. The building barely stood under its own weight, held up only by Hyouton ice. Just like when the mortars hit the village a couple years before. I'd barely received my headband before the attack started, and we were hit so fast and hard that we didn't realize what was happening until half the village had been decimated and a good portion of our shinobi were killed. I'd been the one to offer help in searching for bodies afterward, including... -----In front of the building, a man knelt beside another that looked to be unconscious? No. I caught the last of his words, a desperate cry to the sky for revenge. The young man he held was dead. With a closer look, I could see blood beginning to pool under them. The living man barely finished speaking before another presence made itself known. Not physically, but just in the form of a massive darkness above. I dragged my gaze away from the sky and back to the man who was still alive. He carried three blades at his side, which meant he wasn't a civilian, but he wasn't anyone I recognized from Kumo's rosters either. Was he with the girl in the residential district? -----Right now, that didn't matter. If they were with the enemy, then I needed to stop them from causing anymore damage. I glanced toward the building, where I could see through the holes in its walls Seiji and a few other genin. If not unscathed, then at least they seemed to have survived the blast. Tightening my grip on my blade, I held it defensively in front of me, the steel sparking with Raiton chakra. "Stand down! What's going on here? Who are you?" Given his comrade had been killed, I didn't expect a calm response. But I wasn't entirely sure he would attack me either.
