Henrietta wasn't the type to take notice of people staring at specific points on her. You see, she never looked people in the eyes if she could help it. People demanding it, even, seemed to intimidate her.
"Y-yeah," Henrietta said quietly. Honestly, there wasn't a lot to tell, she thought. It should be similar to other gym challenges. "There's eight badges, gym leaders use Pokemon equivalent to how many badges you have and the overall of your Pokemon. And..." she trailed off, as if thinking while people stared at her was enough for her to lose her train of thought. Or perhaps she was just tired.
"O-once you have all eight you can take part in the Pokemon league, the winner gets to take a shot at the Elite Four and Champion." The basics for every region, really.
There was a slight movement in her hair, a skittering at the Joltik - Socant - moved to get a better view of the trainer and his Pokemon. Alert out of curiosity moreso than he was alert out of a feeling that he needed to protect his trainer. They didn't have that sort of bond, he would say.
Then came Hiba's arrival. Henrietta, who was too tired to be alert of every sound of the city, of her surroundings, too shy to look around and stare at people for the sake of recognition, never would've seen him coming if he had even approached from the front. She twisted around with an involuntary "eep" and looked passed his head, a pretend sort of look at his face. It was obvious, but she wouldn't admit it, that she wasn't looking directly at him.
The question was, why was she in Castelia. Honestly, there were several reasons. For one, she decided it wasn't near the crazy nurse that had tried to murder her with a shotgun, there was a Pokemon center where she could get some well deserved rest, there was a gym here in Castelia and finally she needed her xtransciever fixed. Her response was a simple, "the pokemon center."
Her eyes wandered from the side of Hiba's head to the sleeping Takamaru, his odd hair color - like her own - stood out in a crowd. Drawn eyes, she'd note that he was sleeping and then her eyes would wander again, further off to the side if only to avoid staring at any single person.

Hiba wasn't the type of guy who'd pay attention to minuscule details on whether or not some one was looking directly at him or not, he was so godly handsome that it was only people's natural instinct not to want to gaze at him. or at least that was his thought process.
"Oh ho! So you know where the Pokemon center is in this maze of a town!" it was more of a quite cheer than a question. "why don't we go together? Were headed there too." the hulking youth said throwing a thumb over his shoulder, pointing to Takamaru. "Or we would have been if we could have found it." Little Did Hiba know that his Xtranceiver could have been used to locate the Pokemon Center in question.
it was then that Hiba took notice to the boy behind Henrietta, it wasn't hard, what With Hiba's Height and Henrietta's shortness. He shot the boy a friendly grin from directly over Henrietta's Head.
Tk continued to sleep, his mouth still opening and closing as he drew silent breaths. His mind lost in his childish world of dreams.

AJ stood there feeling a little ignored, he didn't ind, but it was a little rude. So AJ cleared his throat a little and he looked down at Eevee and he then refocused on Hiba and Henrietta. "I think your xtranceiver could locate it if you have one..." AJ said softly as if trying not to interefere with the conversation.
AJ stood there and he began to think whether or not he should take the PoKeMoN gym challenge here in Unova. He then began to wonder where he should start and whom he should use in his challenges and if he'd need to catch a few more pokemon along the way according to what Henrietta said.
"Any idea where someone who wants to start the league challenge should start, keep in mind I only have three pokemon right now, Eevee, Riolu, and Ralts." He said with an inquistory tone.

[Meanwhile, at Castelia's wharf...]
The chef and his waiter stepped out onto the pier beyond the outdoor tables, waiting for Wayne and Salieri to follow. The chef released a Pansear, a pokemon Wayne and Salieri were both quite familiar with. He handed the waiter a pokeball as well.
The crimson haired waiter fumbled with the ball for a bit, but eventually let out a small mushroom shaped pokemon with a pattern on it’s head that imitated a pokeball. Salieri took out her pokedex as she walked onto the pier, scanning the unfamiliar pokemon. “Foongus.” It made sense. Fire types like Pansear were invaluable in the kitchen, and Grass types like Foongus could provide spices for cooking. No surprise for a chef to have both.
When her pokedex scanned Solosis, the Battle Girl took a step backwards and slightly behind Wayne. “Hey cowboy, maybe…”
Her lips pursed together and she stared off to the side, brow furrowed in a weird combo of embarrassment and frustration. “You should choose a less…Psychic pokemon.”
Salem did not have the same aversion to Solosis as her trainer. She trotted closer to the floating orb pokemon, and poked at it’s outer membrane with her nose. It felt like a gummy bear. Kind of looked like one, too. Did it taste like a gummy bear?
“Om-nom,” went the Eevee as she happily pounced on Solosis and started glomping the top of it’s head.

The red convertible streaked past cars on the lower level of the Skyarrow Bridge. Jump gunned down on the acceleration with a small frown plastered on his lips. “How was I supposed to know visiting hours were already done?”
[There was a schedule.] His Teddiursa next to him slid back in his seat, folding his arms. The speedy driving wasn’t helping his hunger pangs. [On the front door.] “How was I supposed to know to use the front door-“
“Because the average person doesn’t phase through the wall to get inside a building,” Hexum chimed in from the backseat. The blindfolded Lucario sighed. “If they won’t let us back in the hospital, we can’t get a testimony out of Artemis.”
“She’ll be out of there by tonight, probably. That girl is tough as nails.” Jump’s frown faded back into his signature smirk as he used one hand to guide the car. With his free hand, he pushed spikes of black hair out of his eyes. The cars next to him were just image blurs as he rushed past them all, swerving from lane to lane to get ahead on the highway.
“And I’ll be seeing her again, just you wait. No way I’m going to let her slip back into her little Artemis-Cave. Besides, we’ve got another lead anyway.”
Kiedis raised his brow at his trainer. [We do?] The Interpol Agent nodded. “Yeah, Zack was fighting that Sage guy too. Hexum, you said you felt him going to Castelia, right? Getting any new readings-“
A loud HONK interrupted Jump thought process as he maneuvered the convertible out of a near head on collision. As he passed the truck he almost hit, he saw the driver lean out the window and give him the finger. “******** ******** you, dude!” Jump yelled back before looking ahead on the road. He sighed. “People these days, yanno? Anyway, do you have a lock on Zack yet or what, man?”
Kiedis exchanged amused glances with Hexum before the Lucario shook his head. The black Aura Sensing lobes on the back of his head stood up in an attempt to discern Zack’s Aura from the rest of the city’s population.
“Finding a specific person in an area this densely populated will take time. Even for me. Just keep driving.” Jump flashed Hexum a thumbs up from over his shoulder. “You can count on me-“ “But drive slower.”

"Are you kidding me? Solosis is hardly psychic at all!" Wayne jabbed a finger towards Solosis, who was freaking out as he shot back and forth with Salem flapping off his head. "It'll be fine, I mean: we already decimated the first gym, right? And those guys were gym leaders as well as waiters. What's this guy? He's just a waiter."
Wayne took out his pokédex and leaned against a wall as Solosis got into position. Hopefully Salem wouldn't leave much slobber when she finally unglomped him.
The pokémon shook with anticipation, using his first technique as practised: Self-Telekinesis. His body shimmered slightly with psychic power and the pokémon lifted a few inches off the ground. Whereas foes use this technique in order to make a target harder to hit, Solosis used it on himself to enhance his evasion.
"Ready when you are!" Wayne yelled with his hands cupped either side of his mouth. He dropped his hands with an eager grin.

Salieri's defiant expression barely changed as her eyes slowly shifted to Solosis. The little psychic blob hovered in midair, but it wasn't doing anything creepy. Like reading her mind. She would know that.
Then her eyes focused on the waiter, who nervously blinked at his pokedex in an attempt to find a good move. "Hou hou, how about Astonish?!"
Foongus complied. "Foon!"
A purple, ghastly sounding soundwave flew at Salem and Solosis. As the Eevee was finally shaken off of the pokemon that sort of tasted like a gummy bear, she was flung into the Astonish attack.
Her Normal type neutralized the effect, fading the volume of the sound down to zero as she landed on damp wooden dock, sliding on all floors to a halt.
"Wha?!" The crimson waiter stepped back, his eyes wide open in shock. "No effect?"
Salieri planted a hand on her hip and tossed her hair back with the other hand, grinning her feral smirk at her opponents. "Alright, I'll work with a Psychic type. As long as it can't do that telepathy stuff. Let's make this quick-" "Flame Burst!"
A glob of a fire ball flew between Solosis and Salem, blowing up in an explosion. Small fireballs rained on all sides at the two pokemon.
Pansear's hand smoked as he held them out in a Kamehameha way. The Pansear's trainer pointed at the two of them. "I'll show you the power of the manager! You will pay for the check, miss!"
Salem darted to one side, her image becoming a blur with the power of Quick Attack. The flames that fel towards her fizzled out on the dock while Salem got away, dancing with unseen movements to safety.
Salieri excitedly clenched her fist in front of her. So this cashier was the manager! Impressive! This battle may be interesting after all!
"NEVER! Salem, light him up!"
The white in the Eevee's eyes glowed a translucent red, like lenses. Hidden Power Fire formed in front of her, appearing as an orb of unstable orange energy. Salem's evolved Hidden Power let her reshape her attack into different forms.
The form she chose was bullets.
The orb separated into five smaller orbs, which all darted at Foongus.
"Pansear, Fury Swipes Solosis!"
The fire monkey complied. After the Flame Burst ended he would leap at the floating cell pokemon, madly slashing his claws in an attempt to attack the outer membrane.

"No way! Telepathy and brain-talking is uber-high level. He can beat up a small chil-- uh-oh!"
Solosis veered backward telekinetically as Pansear's Flame Burst exploded. It gave him a good view of the fire monkey as it flew towards him. As Pansear was airborne, it meant that it'd be struggling to avoid attacks.
It was unlikely that it'd be able to avoid getting caught by Solosis's "Telekinesis!", which was sent at the monkey in the form of a purplish wave of light. Solosis would then use his psychic power to: A) Keep Pansear from hitting him, B) Send the monkey flying over the psychic's head and C) Crash it into the dock-water over the edge of the wharf.
Assuming all that went to plan, Wayne would order a "Psywave!" aimed at Foongus. In spite of Wayne's claims that Solosis would struggle beating up a child, the attack would likely decimate the mushroom pokémon.

Henrietta felt boxed in between the two guys. She spun so that they faced her sides and took a step or so backwards. Her hands shifted awkwardly as they met just under her jaw.
"Hum," she looked back and forth for a second. They hadn't really given her a chance to reply to one and then the other, had they? She wasn't any good at handling more than one conversation.
"I..." she looked over at AJ, "y-you could try the gym leader h-here." It was quiet, a little whisper that one could assume just from her posture was her attempt at talking. Then her eyes moved over toward Hiba.
"I-i don't know where it is."

"A gym here? Hmm it's definitely a possiblity, any ide ahow many pokemon I'll need?" AJ asked, hoping for a little mor einformation, he definitely didn't want to head into a battle against an experienced trainer with three pokemon and they end up having six. Plus their was the fact that he was unaware of what type of pokemon the gym leader would run, or if he stood a chance.
"I definitely should, as long as I have enough Pokemon I think." AJ came back with, that was his only real worry, he trusted Eevee, Riolu, and Ralts to be able to do one hell of a job fighting their way to a win.

This time Henrietta simply shook her head. This action caused the stir of Socant in her hair, whom skittered around to find a less chaotic place, settling on top of her head this time as a teensy yellow bead of furry bugness.
"S-sorry," she said, diverting her gaze off someplace to the side.

It took a moment, but AJ realized she was saying sorry to him and he paniaced a little. "N... No, no, I'm sorry, I just get over excited about this, I've waited a long time to start my journey as a trainer. So I appoligize." AJ smiled trying to look as legitamitly appoligenic as he possibly could.
AJ was good at two things, school, and raising his Pokemon with care and love, when it came to people, he definitely had something that needed a lot of work, at least he was usually polite though.

Just as Pansear closed in on Solosis, he could feel his body raising helplessly into the air. The fire monkey flailed his limbs in an attempt to “swim” through the air, but made very little progress as he was flung over Solosis.
The manager flung his hand out to the side. “You think that’s enough to stop my chef? Pansear, Flame Burst!”
As he flew over Solosis, Pansear charged up another explosive fireball in his hands and fired it downwards directly at Solosis. Before he fell into the water, Pansear grabbed onto the edge of the dock and flipped himself back onto solid ground, narrowly avoiding a ring out.
The frightened Foongus tried to squeeze it’s form down to size in an effort to duck Salem’s Hidden Power bullets. Two of the fireballs whizzed by over the Grass type’s head, but the other three were directs hits. Smoke rose from the mushroom’s scorched face.
“Vill a Mega Drain be a, how do you say, good tactic?”
Foongus pointed a stubby arm at Solosis, who had just thrown Pansear towards the water. The Mega Drain came out as a green, translucent energy ball that would fly to the Psychic type. If Solosis had shot out a Psywave the two attacks would collide and disperse, but otherwise the Mega Drain would hit and heal the damage done by Salem’s attack.
After the Mega Drain, the waiter would order another Astonish attack to strike Solosis, assuming Foongus would be able to get the shout off.
“Don’t forget about us!” yelled Sal. Before she gave another order, her eyes darted back to Pansear, who was running back to the battlefield with a hand ignited in a Fire Punch. The monkey was about to take a swing at the Eevee.
Salem’s eyes glowed blue as he body instinctively avoided Pansear’s haymaker with the power of Detect. She pounced above him and landed behind the monkey.
Before she could counterattack, Pansear would spin around and try another Fire Punch hook.

Hiba's mumbled a thanks to AJ as he begin fumbling with his Xtranceiver, why hadn't he thought of that? then again, Hiba was pretty useless when it came to electronics. then arose the question on what type of Pokemon Trainer this towns Gym leader was.
"His name if burgh, he trains insect Pokemon. More than likely he'll match your number of Pokemon being as he's the host" blurted out Hiba, his's attention never leaving his Xtanceiver. "He told me" he said throwing his thumb over his shoulder to again point at the still sleeping Takamaru. "He's pretty intelligent, not much of a fighter, but the kids got heart."
Takamaru stirred in his sleep, though he remains asleep.
Finally Giving up with a sigh of frustration, the hulking youth stood at his height. "Anyways, its no use challenging the Gym right now, Its probably preparing to close for the night, it is pretty late." He said, his gaze shifting from Henrietta to AJ. "So why don't we focus on finding this elusive Pokemon cent-" his sentence was cut short by a sharp growl emitting from his empty stomach. the Man sized boy clutched his stomach, head lowered as an embarrassed flush came across his face, "Sorry" he mumbled.

Henrietta, who didn't have anything to contribute, simply stood there.
