Rolling up his scroll he decided to join in with the repairs going on. After all he didn't want to risk some mouth breathing, slack jawed idiot, who couldn't even use a simple clone jutsu, screwing up things. Making his way over to the foreman he inquired as to the mans plan and what stages they were at in terms of fixing the building. So far, with the assistance of a non-mouthbreather, they had cleared the majority of the rubble from within the building. With a nod he borrowed a pencil and a pad of paper from the man before jumping back into the academy.
[1/3]
Walking around the first floor he opened the pad and pressed the tip of the pencil to his lips and began his task. He was going to survey the building and all of its damaged parts to help narrow down what had priority. First thing he began to inspect was the stone wall that had been hastily created to hold the wall. While, for now, it did the job quite well and could frankly be used as a an actual repair, it did lead him to worry for the structural integrity of the building should it remain. After all with that one section being tougher or possibly weaker depending, it could lead to a nonconformity in the overall structure. Though for now, with the state of the village in what it was, he checked it off and went on.
[2/3]

Making his way though the academy dojo combo building he mounted the stairs and slowly ascended each floor one after the other making sure to stop at each floor and check the results of the conflict. For the most part the farther from the ground that he got, the less evident the damage was. However once he reached the upper levels, normally restricted to high ranking shinobi to practice powerful jutsu, he noticed the gaping hole in the roof. Not that the hole would bother him anytime soon he still had to mark it and let the foreman know about its state.
[3/3]

Making his way back own to the foreman he relayed the information to the man and let him know he intended to shape the wall to match the rest of the building. Once the man agreed headed back inside and made a small detour. Quickly approaching the scroll wrack he opened a super simple scroll detailing a simple raiton jutsu that would let him channel his chakra into his weapons and thus help fix things. Pulling one of his long swords from his back he took a knee and channeled his chakra into the blade. After a second he was rewarded with an orange aura of sparking energy around his blade.
[1/1] [1/3]

With his aura coated blade in hand Kasu returned the scroll to the rack and crossed the room towards the stone wall that was holding up the outer face of the building. From the inside the process wouldnt be that hard to match up. What with the tower being the shape that it was. Sword in hand he tested the cutting power of the lighting aura to make sure he wouldnt cut too deep. Placing the sword against the stone he lightly drug it horizontally across the stone chipping clean sections off and smoothing out the wall.
[2/3]

The process of smoothing the inside was rather simple and quick. His blade managed to easily slice the earth each time he moved to remove a chunk of it and before long he was finished with the inside of the building. Moving outside he noticed that they were finally working on patching the roof. Good mouthbreathers if nothing more. Re-ignitiing his blade in raiton he scraped off the outside of the wall same as he had the inside creating a seamless patch int eh wall. Well seamless except for the color difference. The process did not take very long and once he was finished he stepped back to admire his work.
[3/3]

Returning his weapon to its sheath, after cleaning the blade off, he picked up a shovel to assist with the final portions of fixing the academy, cleaning. While he wasnt looking forward to this and truly thought all of this was a drag and an exercise in futility, if he didnt do it then it could fall to some slack jaw idiot that could get it wrong. Burring his shovel into the pile of dirt he caused from cleaning up the stone he began the process of dumping it into a wheelbarrow and hauling the dirt off to the same place all the others were dumping it.
[4/X extra for the previous help with repairs]

All in all things had proceeded smoothly. The walls were fixed, the trash was being taken care of, and the floors inside were being cleaned, waxed, and polished. Before long there would be no difference between the way it was before and the way it was now. He had to admit, despite how lazy he was, and despite how much he hated stupid weak people, it was.. good to help them out. Though weather or not he was actually helping them to help them or because it gave him a sick sense of superiority over them was irrelevant.
[5/X extra for the previous help with repairs]

Now that things were finished here Kasu decided it was about time to go turn these missions in and finally get some cash in his pockets. After all being badass was expensive.

    Miko Tengoku || Rank :: Kumogakure Genin [D-rank] || Class :: Puppeteer/ Sensor || Chakra :: 489/515 || Stamina :: 115/115
Leading the way to the dojo Miko held a somewhat awkward silence with Liori now and again checking in with her about certain things. for one, "So, how do you feel about Kumogakure? Or is it more of the same with what happened to Tsuchigakure?" staying with the main stays of her personality Miko still had an inquisitive mindset and wanted to feel out Liori despite feeling more calm around her there was still the trauma and distaste for explosives, and by extension explosive users. Miko was still holding her expressionless disposition, but by now it was becoming a "tell" in it's self that she was holding back something, and bigoted thoughts or overreactions to name a few. Upon reaching the dojo miko noticed that for the most part they were well past needing many hands to help and only the finer details to fixing things were coming around, but the thought of what missed opportunity just waltzed on by them. "Oh common you could of at least tried to make it a bit different or stronger or somethin. No freakgin imagination.", Inwardly vexed with the situation Miko simply thre up er hands to her sides and then stuff her arms into her sleeves crossing them over her abdomen and blowing a stray lock of hair out of her face.

Walking into the Dojo and vaugely keeping awareness of Liori's actions she'd call to her compatriot about the current plan of activities. "Well since me and you kinda didn't have much time to train up with the events taking turn as they did I know lord Raikage wants us all trained up as soon as possible. So from the looks of things the Dojo's set and the scroll copes have either been replaced already or recovered from the wreckage. I'm planning on helping the workers and asking the foreman for any loose jobs on fixing things up. I wanna get a little more familiar about the building design and structural integrity and crap, you know small talk. " Turning to Liori rather than talking to her over her shoulder Miko would stop in the middle of the busy workers still just putting the final touches on things when she'd continue, "So I say we split up but keep an eye out for the twins. If they don't turn up I'll report it to the Raikage after I'm done here and we've gotten some training under belt. I...well, we all need to get stronger, but going out there and searching when I've got no idea who else went rouge. Well..." Miko would sigh and turn away from Liori and rustle around in her clothes as if she was trying to get comfortable. Even fixed up and brand new the dojo seemed to reek of this presence of anguish and frustration at the events that took place here.

Hunting down the Foreman Miko quickly moved in step towards him and waved goodbye to Liori she wasn't really sure what else to say and she was getting this choking feeling in her throat as if the air wouldn't' stay down. Whatever her issue it made her not want to speak, well at least for the moment.

Repairing Dojo: D-Rank [3/3]

Walking over to the foreman Miko waved to grab his attention before asking him for some work. "I'm ready to work, so if there's anything left to do just point me in a direction and give me the tools to get it done." Looking at her with a distant curiosity as to what she possibly could be looking to do this far into the restoration he'd simply opted to give her some varnishing and painting jobs to get things done. "Alright, You can grab one of the floor brushes and help varnish some of the furniture and flooring. just follow the others. Also there's some painting left to be done. So~ there's that...what you want me to walk you over there!?" The guy seemed real rude but Miko wasn't really feeling up for an argument right now, so after flipping him the bird she'd walk away to her work site. [1/3]

Walking over to the others it seemed real easy to simply take a brush and then wipe down the wood where it didn't' seem to be polished. Taking one of the brushes Miko would start to varnish the rack for the scrolls, Well the generally simple jutsu rack the more serious ones were held somewhere else.Though Miko never really had a chance to see where that was she was going to get around to training after all this was said and done with. It too a few coats but Miko finished the simple task and moved on to the next. [2/3]

Moving on to paint Miko would lay down the primer for thee walls, and flashes of what had happened here made her breath grow short. It was still lingering in her mind the trauma of being hit by that bomb and the number of emotional jarring situations that followed it, but Miko was all about keeping it inside herself. In the slight haze from smelling the paint she'd stated to succumb to her anxieties, but pulling herself back Miko took to breathing slowly and focusing on the task at hand. The painting didn't take long at all and her mission was over. Not there was just the training to do, but then int he back of her mind thoughts about how Liori took to her questioning.

((OOC: Meh, even with the general required post done, I'm just gonna go for my part int he mission to do the finishing bits of the clean up here. Mag's if you want to get in on that go for it , but it seems pretty free and clear to just start training here again. ))

Inka Hizara
I have felt true peace in myself through three methods;
in death, in climax, and in desctruction. Only one has been by another's hand.

[・・・] Inka worked the shovel as if he was well-practiced - and he showed was more than familiar in using it properly. The Jounin got stuck in alongside the civilians working out the rubble. He was sure he would be getting at least some strange looks from either the other ninja helping with repairs or the average citizen beside him but looks be damned, he was getting the job done and none of the citizens seemed to put up any mind on his progress. It was slow, tedious work, but it was mind-numbing, straight-forward, and wore his muscles down perfectly. There was an easily set up rhythm to the entire affair - a few digging at a time while the few wheel barrows available were on constant rotation to keep the flow uninterrupted. The scrapping of metal on cement was constant in their corner of the Academy compound, and slowly, inch by inch, the pool of rubble was whittled away to reveal the cracked footpath beneath. A few larger segments were revealed, but with a few cracks at them with the available pickaxes made short work. It wasn't long untill white dust was coating his pants, working its way up to his knees and splattering his chest. Having discarded his jacket somewhere a little cleaner and safer, Inka's tanned skin was only heightened against the powder that was caking up on his arms. Through the layer of sweat slowly building up and the slight burn in his muscles, the small quirk a corner of his lips remained. He was comfortable in this. Hadn't felt this comfortable in a while.
[5/7]

Once all of the rubble was finally carted away a Chuunin (was she a teacher at this place? She had the look of a teacher, Inka thought) approached with a short-cropped bob and a speckling of silver on her fingers. The jewellry shone as she summoned up a gentle wash of water that swepped away the remaining dust and pebbles before seeping back into the earth, leaving behind the shattered remains of the footpath. She nodded to the civilians and, dark eyes pausing on Inka for a moment, she tilted her head in acknowledgement. Such solidarity. Still, she had helped - very much so. With the back pathway clear, it was now easier for everyone to circle the compund rather than having to perform constant U-turns around the main building. And with it came a quickening in the movement of supplies. Cement, mortar, and bricks started flowing through - Inka knew next to nothing about brick laying so he took the job of cement mixer. Keeping the old manual thing churning so water and powder could turn to slush, all the while men and women far more experienced went about getting the repairs to the walls done. Churning wet cement turned into wheeling it around in one of the barrows to tip in the newly dug trenches to form paths and floors. Inka wheeled it in and around the growing building, trailing past the individuals smoothing out the wet mixture so it would dry into an even surface.
[6/7]

The Jounin had to admire the civilians skilled capablility of smoothing out the wet cement with such basic tools and only the experience of Inka couldn't guess how many years. The well-practiced movements reminded Inka of time-worn ninja going through attacks as easily as breathing. His staring earned him an invitation down into the trenches and the Jounin shared a few chuckles with the cement workers as he fumbled with the simple tools and failed to create such flawless sweeps over the newly forming floors. With an amused word of thanks, Inka pulled away from smoothing out the mixture to instead churning and transporting it around the site. The bags of dry mix were large and heavy, but Inka joined the growingly exhausted line to lug a pag to each mixing urn that needed it. The day had been long, and many of them had been there since dawn, by the sounds of it. But floors were already left to dry - what were once broken slabs of cement were being buried as flagstone pathways through the yard. Rubble was cleared to a corner for later collection and Inka passed some workers who were already making plans on what was needed to be done with the walls and roof. Luckily, not every section of the ground-level floors and footpaths needed digging up and laying back down, so the work was quick. Speeding up the drying of the cement, however, would hasten the process - Fuuton jutsu? Inka didn't know any that wouldn't cause ripples. As if sensing the thoughts inside his pause, a Kumo ninja had stode up to one of the completed wet segments and summoned a wind jutsu to gentle dry it. Inka was never one for original thought, he mused.
[7/7]

Inka was seated under a tree with a few of the workers - all silently but greedily guzzling down some water. Hard labour, shoveling and carting heavy materials - good labour, honest. But exhausting, and hydration was something Inka had accidentally skimped on. Resting against the truck, rough bark pressing through his thin shirt and into his back, a thought came to mind. "Any idea what they're doing down at the bridge?"

Liori Q Mundo l Bakuton - Mouths Awakened l Kumogakure l Genin

Liori didn't mind the silence of their walk as much as Miko seemed to, prodding her with different questions. The first of many was relevantly simple, "Oh me and my brother have only been here for a few years. We really didn't make it that far into the city until I entered into the academy. We've spent a majority of our time on the outskirts of the city... after all people generally don't take kindly to kids living on the streets." She decided she might as well answer honestly, that part of her life really didn't weigh on her with any gravity. Thought she did opt to leave out the other reason she wasn't welcome that far in, what with her and food theft being the only part of those few years she regretted. With the silent returned she started to spot the building they were heading to, 'Ah ******** so that's what she meant by dojo. Figured she meant something other than the academy.' She thought to herself, feeling a little dim. However her small shame was quickly extinguished when Miko decided to ask a question about Iwagakure. Liori took a deep breath as her happy go lucky expression shifted; brows furrowing, nose scrunching, the corners of her mouth inching downwards. Her anger now boiling on the surface she lifted a single finger, the mouths across her body all vindictive with their expressions.

"No not at all. I don't mind Kumogakure, they dont exile entire groups based on the actions of one person. They sent a clean up crew after my family, after being booted out of the ******** village we had someone sent after our people... So no, Kumogakure seems like it rains glitter in comparison." She practically yelled this at Miko, her eyes glazed over with rage as they walked. It took the remainder of their walk for her to even look in Miko's direction, anger un-yielding on her face. Upon entering the building Miko seemed to have come up with a plan of action. It seemed their plan to look for the twins together lasted about as long as she guessed it would, with the suggestion to split up. "Whatever." Was the only thing she could say in response while her blood was boiling, she felt anything more and she was liable to bite Miko's head off. She didn't even bother waving in response to Miko's, simply turning and stomping off down a hallway.

((ooc: Man I haven't rped a character angry in a while, just a tad rusty. I suppose I'll just go off and train. I assume since we wont be together there wont be a posting order?))

    Miko Tengoku || Rank :: Kumogakure Genin [D-rank] || Class :: Puppeteer/ Sensor || Chakra :: 489/565 || Stamina :: 115/165
Miko hadn't training in quite sometime and the feeling of how many days passed since the incident seemed to pass by so quickly she didn't really let the lingering feeling that she'd pissed off Liori now that she thought about their exchange. The other kunoichi seemed rather peeved after they parted to do their own thing and Miko still had to keep a weather out for the twins if they ever choose to show up. Might as well get what I can out of the way, and deal with the other stuff as I can. Her mind wasn't at all at rest from the stresses she knew were going to become the new normality of her life but she'd tried to bring herself internally to a calm that reflected her external expression. Miko sat on the floor having had grabbed a few training scrolls on her way to a quiet little corner. Well not really all that quiet given the amount of little fixes still going on here and there around the dojo, but a good amount of the other cleared out or were training in their own way.

Monko no Keibou [ Door Guard ] (C-Rank)
Miko's perception of the sensor arts seemed to be developing faster than she ever imagined given the rapid succession of stimuli from the attack. The jutsu she was studying allowed her to place a selective information gathering jutsu. The moniker "door guard" was perfect as she'd form the hand seal and touch the tatami mat of the dojo. Miko's fluidity of understanding these jutsu or her training in general seemed a lot easier without the threat of being shot from above, but then again the naivety to believe that was ever the case again was something she promised herself not to do ever again. With the jutsu cast she could sense in a more prominent range than what vibrations breached into her Buraindotacchi or "blind touch", correlating between the two her ability to feel of certain things became a lot more refined. the size of those around, their weight their chakra pools and potential skill levels that could be correlated from that. [1/1]

Keizokuteki Enmu no Jutsu [ Continuous Fog Technique ] _Sight_ (C-Rank)
Quiet Meditation about this was something that Miko needed to perform. Her mind had been run ragged in the last incident and keeping her cool was key to being an effective Puppeteer as well as a shinobi of her skill set. So refining her temperament through meditation and visualizing her next act fast enough to process the variables of her actions. Miko's mouth wasn't her best friend but she'd always had a habit of saying what she felt would twist thing to her advantage. Miko would find one of the training dummies that lit up when she'd first tried out her genjutsu skills to practice this much more advanced version of her cloud clone jutsu. Performing the hand seals as directed by the scroll she'd cause the dummy to light up much brighter showing the stimulus it was being put through, but it wasn't clear as to how effective it was. The real practice for Genjutsu was against real people, and despite not liking to toy with people Miko felt she could gain some help in this area from Liori. Putting at her thumb nail she'd question the propositions validity to herself before even attempting to approach the other kunoichi [1/1]

Soriddo Kasumi Buki [ Solid Mist Weapon ] _Touch_ (C-Rank)
In the mean time she'd move on to the next technique that utilized a physical stimulus to activate "physical" cloud clones with the ability to explode or shift around the opponent causing them "physical" trauma through the brain. Throwing a senbon to lightly stab into the dummy after performing the hand seals Miko would watch as various light went off inside the dummy as the brain center seemed to light up even more and sparks all around the dummy seemed to go off as if the pain receptors were taking quite the beating. the illusion was of a whole new tier. Making other feel actual pain rather than irritants or distractions with Genjutsu was a tool Miko would have to use with some form of restraint. Yet one would always feel the temptation to do the wrong thing with this sort of power, the Raikage example was a constant reminder of the virtues of restraint. [1/1]

Thinking better of it Miko made her way through the dojo looking for Liori once again to ask her if she'd like to train together. When she found her Miko would call out to her, "Oi, Liori ya wanna train together! It's boring doin it alone, right?! Common ya ain't mad at me are ya?!"

              ~Current Theme Music~Phweeeen Biography

Finally clad in his damaged yet clean attire once more Liori and Miko might have caught sight of a grey blob like soaring man. Not one that was particularly flying but rather one could say he/it was ricocheting. Long arms would grab nearby objects and pillars and cause this figure to rubber band increasing in speed with each pull. This was a technique produced especially for travel. Having utilized this technique Toso arrived at the Dojo merely a few minutes after leaving the hospital. He hoped that the Raikage wouldn't be upset with him over his sudden almost smash and grab approach to a report. Looking down he'd see Miko and Liori, two nin he didn't rightly know but still waved to them slowing down his momentum briefly before continuing toward the further ends of the training field whether they choose to follow would be based solely on their own accord. Toso would find sanctity landing on the same stretch of ground he had trained on earlier. His arms retracted and removed a small journal. This journal looked strikingly similar to the one he already had but bore obvious traces of his handi-work. This area closest to a source of water would prove the most beneficial training area for the time being.((2/2 Ikawarutsu Complete)) -10 St, -5 Ch

Scouring through the pages of his personalized book he stopped on a page showing a crudely drawn image of himself spouting ink skyward. A technique fit for any Hojo he thought to himself. He inhaled deeply looked up toward the sky and exhaled roughly ten pellets skyward. These ink pellets would then land haphazardly around the area. A success was nothing less but expected. Toso by his fathers teaching took to heart that one must come up with unique ways to best obvious individuals stronger than you. Toso was never one to doubt his fathers teachings he'd yet to be given reason to. Now that Toso had prepped his stage so to say he was ready for phase two of the show. ((Inking Method: Kurunsui 2/2 Complete)) -10 Ch

Toso flipped to the second page of his book. It was time he performed a disappearing act. Stepping on one puddle he then performed a few hand signs. He immediately would then vanish into the depths of the ink. He'd reappear in a subsequent splotch. Toso was pleased with his results. This was nothing short of impressive for the man who had just come out the hospital. The tactical significance of this skill was useful for all Hojo and was not unlike the mist versions to travel through water. Only unlike the mist versions a Hojo always had a constant supply of ink readily available. "Bloop bloop bloop. Can't fail what you developed yourself. Ika." ((Tōsō inku 2/2 Complete)) -10 Cha

After this Toso would open his fathers original hand book. Coming to a conclusion he realized everything started to blend together. One of the ink blends looked strikingly similar to another. The Spiral and piercing blends were both offensive blends that didn't require any specific cultivation. Toso would imagine a gigantic drill within in his head. He Inhaled then exhaled trying to form a spiral...unfortunately this failed. Instead the ink came out forming what could more or less be considered a... well a turd. Toso wasn't ideally used to this. Most blends had a flavor this particular blend couldn't be attributed one. Ultimately the skill boiled down to the execution. Then it dawned on Toso. The intricacy of this blend would require not only more thinking but perhaps a little more motion and chakra. He repeated the steps, leaping back puffing his cheeks to an exorbitant size before letting loose a spiral that could give any drill a run for it's money. In fact it did just that, and collided with the nearest column causing it's structure to develop a fine hole. Toso could only imagine what the skill was capable of at full strength however, there was the similar blend. Looking at this blend was a little ironic. Toso regretted not starting with it first. He would follow the same steps as the last but instead of spiraling it he concentrated all his chakra into a singular outward projectile needle like force. Needle was an understatement as the near lance like ink struck the same column but rather than crumble the attack pierced straight through. It didn't stop there in penetrated through three more structures and although the entry point was small if such an attack were used on soft flesh it would be a different story. Toso would crick his neck at this success. Then a momentary bit of regret swept over him. A few genin had just repaired the place and he was wrecking it. Bloop bloop oh well he thought, the neutral route dictates that it was not his problem. Toso began to wonder what his first real mission would be. He also wondered who his first squad would be. He only hoped they were as welcoming as Axel and Hakanai ((Spiral Blend 041, Piercing Blend 044 6/6 )) -40 Chakra.

He could no longer rely on fathers book. The only way to assure his other blends worked was to use them on a live willing subject. He wasn't too fond of torturing defenseless animals. He could empower them...but who knows what kind of side affect would occur after doing so. Instead Tosokurui would focus on his book of sketches and preform more ink skills based on the principle of shaping ink rather than just spraying it when colored. First he would form spheres of ink that could float using fuuton. He would then detonate them with corresponding hand seal. Next he would follow up with exhaling a spider web wire frame like structure which expanded connecting to nearby objects it made contact with. He'd then disperse the chakra it was made of so not too leave behind too much of a mess. Finally he decided to incorporate air once more into his jutsu and this time produced a literal cloud of ink in the air shooting up wards like a wall and then settling. Liori Q Mundo l Bakuton - Mouths Awakened l Kumogakure l Genin

Liori decided to spend a couple minutes letting her anger burn out, just wandering the bustling halls with a perpetual scowl. It wasn't long until she was burning off lingering fumes. She took a moment to collect her thoughts as she let out a long sigh drawing attention from passerby's. 'Guess I damn near bit Miko's head off. Might need to apologize.' She thought to herself as she made her way into a room containing shelves of varying scrolls. She was on the hunt as she began gathering a select couple scrolls pertaining to the Bakuton bloodline, particularly on the subject of mending mouths. With scrolls in hand she made her way outside, finding a nice secluded corner of the courtyard to practice in. She placed the scrolls on top of a flat rock. She let scanned the labels before picking out the scroll she planned to get through first. "Might as well learn how these band boys work..." She mumbled to herself, the mouths on her hands twitching as she unraveled the the scroll on top of the others, "Learning to infuse your chakra into clay... Seems simple enough I suppose." She smiled softly as she un-clipped a pouches on her hips, the damp clay untouched inside.
[1/5]

She took a deep breath, closing her eyes, as she began to empty out her mind. Blocking out her lingering guilt and anger... letting the strategist side of her take control for her training. "Sage Shin Mar guide me as I delve into my mortal tether. Chantar bless my attempt to grasp at your greatness." She spoke softly, opening her eyes as she lifted her palms upwards. The slits on her skin opening as the twin mouths mimicked a yawning motion. 'Today is the day I figure out how to control you tw- three.' She thought to herself placing a hand over the mouth at her chest. Her cold eyes traced their way onto the scroll in front of her, dissecting the first few steps in the process. Her eyebrows furrowed as she noticed an underlined passage. "Under no un-calculated circumstance will the clansmen remove the stitching from their chest, the mouth to their heart will only be used in the gravest situation. Hmm, sounds to me like I have a built in trump card. Must be dangerous... explains my fathers reaction to its opening." The mumbled under her breath.
[2/5]

She nodded to herself as she cemented the warning in her memory before carrying on to the steps ahead. "First step is gathering mend-able clay, check. The second is preparing the mending mouths with the users chakra. The third is infusing said chakra into the mend-able clay," She read to herself before nodding once more, "Alright time to get some work done." She took a moment to crack her knuckles and neck, her way of limbering her body. Raising her hands back out infront of her she began going over possible ways of directing chakra into singular points in the body. Her eyes fluttered closed as she dropped back into her mind, the work around her seeming to slow to a crawl as she began picturing her body. She began to picture a system of chakra, drawing the massive web leading to the core of her stomach.
[3/5]

This massive web seemed to have an imbued heat to it and it was slightly intoxicating once Liori had tapped into it. She felt her mind being drawn to just watching it, ignoring what she was attempting to do. With a quick slap on her cheeks she drew her attention back to the task at hand. 'C'mon Liori you're not one to be distracted by something pretty.' She thought to herself, exhaling her held breath. She scrunched her nose as she began to picture her chakra system once again. "There..." She mumbled, her mind plucking at the threads... weaving them towards her hands, drawing additional energy from the core of her being. The warmth of her body felt almost cold com paired to the roaring fire in her palms. It was starting to say the least, causing her to real back and open her eyes. However her skin looked unchanged, the only change was the excitement visible in her mending mouths. She felt the same excitement spreading across her own face, a smile dancing in the corners of her mouth.
[4/5]

She nodded to herself, dipping her hands into the cool pouch, her hands acting on instinct as the mouths began to bite into the mending clay. Plucking and pulling small chunks at a time, gathering their fill before closing tight. Noticing the quick change Liori lifted her hands back in front of her, inspecting the writhing palms as the mouths inside chewed away and sculpted their way through the wet clay. She brought step three to the forefront of her thoughts, going over the more detailed list of steps rather than her quick summery. She smirked to herself as she closed her eyes, picturing the burning fire of her chakra heating the damp substance as if her hands were kilns. She branched her chakra into the clay as if she was sewing thread though a torn shirt, stitching the tear closed. As she opened her eyes she felt the warmth transferring from her body into the small bundles of clay.
[5/5][Bakuton: Kure-Hoshuu Kuchi (Explosive Release: Clay Mending Mouths) Get! 5 posts are required]

She thought back to her old life, the happy go lucky child she used to be. She recalled a day when she went through her fathers library and peaked into some instructional scrolls pertaining to her clan. "Yes... this technique will do for a test, to see if this worked or not." She mentioned to herself, her eyes racing as she read through her memories like she was flipping through pages in a book. Her right hand began to writhe once more as she began changing the shape of the ball of clay, its teeth tearing its solid shape into pieces. Lifting her right hand she spread her fingers, the mouth in her palm spitting out four small balls of clay. Her fingers closed against each other as as caught the small pellet like balls betwixt them. "And that should do it if my memory didn't fail me." She said softly, lifting her right arm in front of her before opening her fingers once more and flicking the four balls towards a nearby tree. Upon contact with the bark the small pellets ignited into a set of small explosions, biting into the back and leading a visible mark in their wake.

"Thank you great Sage Shin Mar for guiding my hands through this mortal plain." She mumbled to herself, dropping backwards onto her a**. She let out a drawn out sigh, before hearing distant footsteps approaching her. She felt herself grumble before she heard the owner of the footsteps call out to her. She bent backwards, her view of the world upside down as she saw Miko. "Oh, hello again," She began, "I don't know I always find training to be quite the relaxing experience... reminiscent to the feeling of meditating. And no, I burnt out awhile ago."

Axel Storn
Genin l Kumogakure l Samurai l Prodigy
Chakra - 300/300 l Stamina - 300/300

"I am the sword in the Darkness...

Axel got lost following Hakanai after he passed a group of school children being returned to their parents near the tower. What an odd place have a parent-child reunion in the wakes of the attack; that didn’t seem all that safe, he was about to say something when he noticed there were four ninja with them, just in case anything happened. Even if those responsible turned themselves in, everything seemed on edge. With Hakanai lost, he decided the next course of action was to get some training. If something like this happened again maybe he would be able to assist the Raikage, and all the innocents that got hurt during the attacks, and maybe, there would be no loss of life. If only he were stronger he might have been able to complete his duty to these people, but without the proper training, odds were he could not even protect himself. At the entrance of the academy he made a pause and chatted a little with the cute secretary before signing in his name. She worked at the academy when Axel came here six months ago and she helped him fit in, so he felt indebted to her. It made him feel glad knowing she survived the attack, it seemed hardly anyone was truly affected by it, they were just shaken up by it. He went to the second floor and stopped by the academy’s library to pick up the scrolls he thought he needed: a couple of weapon style scrolls, as well as a giant tome he thought would be interesting to read about called ‘On the Enhanced Manipulation of Chakra and Magnetism’ by Sage Talya Storn. The last name called to him, so he could not keep his hands off it, he couldn’t help but wonder who this Talya was. The scroll looked incredibly old, yellow and missing some parts which probably withered with time and was now unable to be recovered, so Axel handled it with upmost care. The boy then walked to the first floor and leisurely strolled to the training area, where he sat and carefully opened the book. Thin grey dust filled the air when he did this. Axel tried his best not to cough, but the dust seemed to burn when he breathed it in. “What the hell is this?” He asked between coughs. This continued for a minute before he could begin reading. The first couple of pages did not say anything of interest, or anything Axel could understand for that matter. It took him ten minutes to read the first chapter; in all honesty he was bored! Who would have thought a member of his family could be this boring; maybe that is why he had never heard of this Talya from his father. It wasn’t until he reached the second chapter that this ancient tome got interested. It spoke something about the control of material via chakra, namely the control of metal via it, but the process it spoke of what rather complex, but he thought it was for the best to attempt it.
[Jiba Soujuu [ Magnetic Manipulation ] 1/5]

The red head never thought such a thing was possible. Make things levitate with chakra? No. It wasn’t as farfetched at one would make it seem, clearly, but there was something about the whole thing that irked him. If this was possible, how come no one had done it before, at least in his family? That was a question he did not know the answer to, just like many others. The book went on to say something about the way chakra moved conducted itself, how certain chakra elements needed to work in harmony in order for the levitation to work, and other such technical things needed to perform this that he was not going to read in detail because of the high density and level of complexity of whoever this Talya was. All he would say about her was that the lady could write long complicated sentences that he wasn’t sure if even the Raikage would understand. All he could understand was that there needed to be chakra inserted into the subject that one wanted to levitate, and that said subject had to be something small and easy to move, so he decided that he would begin working with one of his tools. At first he considered using his blade, but she stressed more than once that the object that was to be moved had to be small, and of a simple enough composition to allow the chakra to have an effect over it, so his katana would not do, instead he reached for his pouch and produced a kunai, which he laid on the ground in front of him.
[Jiba Soujuu [ Magnetic Manipulation ] 2/5]

Axel placed his hand over the kunai and began to focus his chakra as best as he could, which was not all that well. He blasted and blasted, but nothing seemed to happen. The Kunai did not move, not even an inch. An inch! That’s all he was asking for. Just a little movement. He continued to move his hands around the kunai, close and far from it, his hands close and far apart themselves, he kept them still for a moment, another moment he moved them in circles, but nothing seemed to work. Just focus, you’ll have this down in no time. It can’t be that hard, I mean, she did it, so why can’t I, right? Any minute now that Kunai will begin to float, and I’ll be a natural. He said with a dumb smile on his face as he pumped more chakra into his hands, but there was something he was doing wrong, and he just didn’t know what. “UGH” he felt like he wanted to throw the tome, rip the pages out in a fit and let his rage flow out of his body so it would stop bothering him, but doing that meant losing whatever knowledge this… Talya character… had stored. Why did he only discover this now? Had his father sent this for him? Axel doubted that greatly. His father wasn’t the least bit interested in ninjutsu, he loathed Lya for it, so why would his father send it to him of all people? What was more likely is that the tome had been there for ages and no one even bothered to pick it up because of how big it was, it was obscenely large for a bunch of theory. The thought that crossed his mind next bothered him a little and made him stop cold in his tracks. What if it was my brother, Guanryuo? No, that’s not possible. He’s never been to the village before.
[Jiba Soujuu [ Magnetic Manipulation ] 3/5]

He shook his head and chased the thoughts of his brother away. It was impossible for him to have set this there for Axel. His brother had never set foot in this village, which meant that this book was placed by someone else, and more than likely not for him. He lowered his arms and sighed in frustration by his inability to make the Kunai float. It bothered him that the damn thing wasn’t doing anything for him. He gave one last chance at throwing the chakra at the kunai to make it levitate, to make it do… anything. But nothing. His frustration was growing then, he could feel it bubble on the inside, like a damn that was not being operated, drip… drip… drip… Just one more drop until the water overflows and drowns everything. But instead of giving in, the red head turned to the tome and continued to read. “The act of converting your own chakra into magnetic energy. Although no longer chakra, per se, it can still be controlled as thought it were.” He read the sentence again, and blinked like a man that had just woken up from the longest dream he had ever been in.
[Jiba Soujuu [ Magnetic Manipulation ] 4/5]

As a child would on Christmas, Axel could feel excitement coming from within. I can do this, he repeated to himself time and time again to pump himself up to attempt the feat. He took a deep breath and extended his hands, placing them over the kunai. He let out a quick burst of chakra as he had been doing before, he could not contain himself, he knew it was wrong, and reform would take some time. He tried it again, but this time contained the chakra in his arms and let it flow freely, transforming it with his will, from energy of the soul, to energy of matter, converting it into a magnetic force. It started gently at first. One, two, three four, he could feel the chakra, how it tingled at his hands as this conversion that he could not wrap his mind around was happening before his eyes, invisibly, forever altering the way he could make his chakra behave. But Axel didn’t see any of this, he did not see the wonder of the transmutation of chakra, of course all he saw was the good sensation it caused his arms, how the few hairs on his arm stood as this change happened. He noticed something else. The kunai did not rise. It caused his to frown, and he almost ended the technique, but then he saw that it was not the kunai that was meant to be in the air, but the black-grey dust that had come off the book. All around it, these small specs of dust were inexplicably floating! Floating! What a marvelous thing this strange new power was. But how did it work? He had to know more! He must continue reading to find out!

Technique Learned:
Jiba Soujuu [ Magnetic Manipulation ]
The act of converting your own chakra into magnetic energy. Although no longer chakra, per se, it can still be controlled as thought it were. Using this method, one is able to control all sorts of metals, most notably, iron sand or powder. The reason for this is that it is a very easily controlled solid- malleable almost as if a solid. Structures that have resistances or other forces working against the user obviously require more chakra to manipulate, and are thusly deemed "a waste of energy."
• Requires [6] posts to learn.
• Must learn before proceeding to other techniques.
• Moving undefined amounts of sand requires the same amount of chakra as those in the Satetsu Soushi.

Liori fell back onto her a** and seemed to be practicing making a "bridge" with her body as she'd answer Miko's call. "I don't know I always find training to be quite the relaxing experience... reminiscent to the feeling of meditating. And no, I burnt out awhile ago."
It didn't seem like the other kuoichi was having as much trouble keeping her mind clear in this space, but then again she wasn't really part of the incident that nearly brought down these walls. To her it was just another building, but to Miko it held a little more importance to her training. "Well I guess you wouldn't mind if we..." She'd trail off as a blur of gray would shoot across the distance and just land a fair ways away from them. The boy as it seemed or rather young man seemed heavily dressed and mysterious with the shades he was wearing. Yet their was this odd atmosphere about him that made Miko's inquisitive nature fare up with questions, such as, Who the hell is this guy? At the moment there really was no answer for that yet, but miko was going to find out.

"Yee~ah, sorry about that. that, guy? i guess just distracted me but I guess I'm not really as calm and collected with training with out practical example, you know? Maybe not anyway, case in point..." Miko would trail off to point at the guy in the distance now spouting out black balls that stayed aloft in the air and spews of what she could assume was ink, but really it just looked like a bunch of black or colored liquid. She'd been working on her jutsu so far and this guy seemed like as good a target as any to test out low level jutsu on. She wasn't very big on her elemental jutsu, but what little she'd picked up while browsing through the academy's library of available scrolls (and she was chomping at the bit to get at the more advanced ones) were meant for practical flow in her fighting style and strategies. The Earth Jutsu she was pretty much just winging on memory alone focused on channeling chakra through the body to force into the ground and create a sudden wall of mud, much more devastating when there was an abundance of mud, but beggar's can't be choosers. Or at least that was the sentiment Miko had grown up with, just make due with what you got.

While Still pointing in direction of Tosokurui she'd swipe her foot across the ground. in the distance suddenly a wall of mud and earth would raise up form the soaked ground his ink had touched. Miko would watch for his response since it was a pretty simple wall nothing too jarring or even harmful. "You see I work best when I can gauge the response from others I'm using my jutsu's on. Anyway, wanna head over and see who that guy is? Or do you wanna meditate? I for one feel that I get the best feel for something when working against something that can out smart me."
Doryuu Heki [ Mud Slide Barrier ] [Training for D-rank [1/1], C-rank [1/1] ]

Rubbing her hands together Miko would again attempt working on a elemental jutsu she'd memorized while she'd been browsing. The upside to Earth jutsu was that it often times didn't' require hand signs to use, but wind jutsu wasn't much different in some respects that some of the techniques only required one to breath heavily. This jutsu in particular wasn't one of them. It formed the chakra around their feet and were able to a ball of air to move from place to place. Stretching out her hands above her head and taking in a deep breath Miko focused the fuuton chakra around her legs and allowed a ball of wind to raise her in the air and riding it like a skate board she'd seem to fly over to the boy. Calling out, "Oi, you...yeah the guy with the shades and black water stuff! You wanna train a little with me and my..." Miko suddenly felt a little lost for what her and Liori really were, it was more over an acquaintance wright now. "...the white haired chick over there."
Kaze Nori [ Wind Riding ] (C-Rank) [1/1]

Grasping at straws that was the best Miko could come up with to explain herself to the young man.

Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, and how large their chakra pool is.

Technique Name: Buraindotacchi: Douteki Giketsu [Blind Touch: Kinetic Resolution]
Rank: X-Rank (E-S) [Only E-rank right now]
Type: Taijutsu_Training
Element: Taijutsu
Description: A trained physical sensory ability that is an extended and refined blend between ones muscle memory and a heightened sense of touch. Trough training one can “read” and remember kinetic motion of physical objects around themselves as long as some form of motion (vibration) is happening around them, and there after differentiates them specifically committing the sensation to memory. (New sensations are responded to vaguely if not committed to memory/identified already.)
This ability has only a 6-yards [3-yards] cubic range, and works better on the ground/in water. Where vibrations are involved mid-air sensing isn’t exact. The practitioner retains a slight increase in reflexes over their current Rank standard from this ability, and when retrained this boost also increase from slightly, to mildly, to moderately and etc. Though passive this ability drains stamina when used to dodge equal to the rank of the technique being avoided with in the trained limit.

Jutsu:
Buraindotacchi: Douteki Giketsu [Blind Touch: Kinetic Resolution] [Passive E-Rank]

Doryuu Heki [ Mud Slide Barrier ]
Rank: D-S
Official Description: A defensive jutsu in which the user creates a thick wall of mud and earth to defend against an attack. For every rank, the wall of mud is twenty feet wider and fifteen feet higher.
Guild Description: Dragging the ground with one's foot, the wall comes into existence.

Kaze Nori [ Wind Riding ]
Rank: C
Official Description: Creates a ball of air which can carry the user at great speeds.
Guild Description: The user form a ball of rapidly swirling air beneath the feet, upon which they typically sit (some with exceptional balance may choose to stand). As a result the user is left hovering several feet above the ground, and is able to control the ball to move quickly in any direction, essentially allowing the user a high degree of speed and agility while they remain on the ball. Due to the nature of the ball and its speed, it is quite natural for users of this technique to move across walls and ceilings. Lasts for three posts.

"I am the sword in the Darkness...

Axel misjudged his capacity to continue reading that giant tome, but he would save it for a later moment, when he could focus better, but he was still awestruck by the fact that the dust was still flowing in the air. He cut the chakra supply to them and they just fell on the ground, some of them on the book. Good, I can save it for later, a smile cracked his lips and then he closed the book. He turned and opened one of the scrolls which read “The Basics to Build a Legacy of Greatness and Evolution – First Stages of the Shigure Suoen Axel ripped the scroll open and began to read the first three techniques that were written down in the scroll. Very basic things, movements that he would use on his own, at least that was the case of the first technique. He got up from the floor and scanned the area around him for a dummy and some training swords, wooden ones would work, but sparring swords would be even better. Because he didn’t find one, he went inside and asked the secretary for a sparring sword, which she provided without a complaint. He stepped back outside, picked up all the scrolls on one hand, and the tome on the other, while he held the sword with his arm and made his way to the area with the dummy. He let it all drop, expect for the tome, that he placed gently on the ground. He played with the sword a little, twirling it on his hand, shifting it from one hand to the next, and finally slashing at the air. “Alright… Lets see… He was talking to himself, standing about fifteen feet from the dummy. He took a step forward and swung his body right, with the second step his body shot to the left violently, culminating with the sword resting on the dummy’s shoulder.
[ Axle of Rain – Learned]

Axel jumped back to make some distance between himself and the dummy. He gripped the blunt training sword and could barely read the scroll from the corner of his eyes, but he knew more or less what he had to do to be able to do this technique. He removed one of his hands from the blade’s grip and placed it on his forearm and then began to pump chakra. Then he removed his arm and let the blade drop. Suddenly, he began running toward the dummy and sliced upward, releasing a burst of electrical chakra, but nothing happened. “What… That’s it? No big electrical burst? No… Nothing?” That left him very disappointed, but life had to go on.

Toso would continue to flip through his ink stained sketchbook book. He had made these skills far too complex. He was beating to an internal drum, one that wanted to have his creative ideas bear fruit not unlike the artist burrowed deep within his soul. Artist? Ah that's right! He'd near forgotten about the paintbrush strapped to his side. He began to recall how his father stated that anything can be weapon from a table to a, jar of old daikon, to a broken tooth pick. Certainly his brush would be no different. The academy caused one potential style to stand out. Kanboku, the art of paint and brush. He had forgotten this style that had piqued his interest ever so much. He would then unsheathe his brush. Only to jump at the sound of shaking earth. He would immediately pivot his arm and fling his long sword sized brushs head in an upward fashion to deflect something as if it were reactionary. It seemed he still had some paranoia after the events of his earlier fight with Melody. Miko would hear an exclamation of what for lack of a true comparison a personified squid having been taken briefly by surprise. "Blooooooooooooooop Bloop. ((Naderu [Brush Gently] 1/1)) ((-5 Ch -5 St))

The entire being of the man looked like jello shaking from top to bottom in a singular motion for a single instance after the attack as if to disperse the earlier shock, the squid equivalent to shaking it off or walking it out. Toso's cheery air turned into one of curiosity. He would turn around at what he believed to hear as the voice of a female. He would turn. Oh my 'TWO' females. One however, had moved in closer on Toso's positioning for a more ample conversation. If skating on air could be considered conversational positioning. "A bloop bloop bloop. Ah! What an interesting Ninjutsu! The man would raise his non combat ready arm as he always did raising it gesticulating back and forth with the loose sleeve in some form of pendulum like manner. Miko would finally get the full look of his face. His eyes were blank, something normally associated with Hyuuga or the blind. They were almost disk like in size sporting a larger Iris. If not for it's slanted structure no doubt his eye's would be revealed huge. "I would love to partake in my fellow nins training. Bloop." ((Recovery 30))

The man had taken note of Miko's headband as he had hoped he had taken notice to his wrapped around his neck. The entire situation was an odd one. The air would definitely be one of both mystery and strangeness. This aura would only increase with the squid like mans following words. "I do however, have some questions and a proposition. First, bloop, I have some experimental inks I need to try out on a live willing subject. Nothing that should be particularly damaging or cause any noticeable harm in fact one could say one is rather supposed to empower an individual. Just in general it would be a pleasure if you allowed me to try these on you before we begin. Likewise I'll submit to any request you propose pre engagement, assuming you wish to spar. Something about the proposition would feel fishy figuratively and literally but the man carried a sincere smile that reeked of humbleness and innocence. This portrayal of him might have ended at his next statement though. "Also, On a scale of one to ten how would you rate your self confidence in regards to your body." The pendulum like sleeve continued and his face never shifted from innocence and naivety. Something would ring to Miko with her sensor like capabilities. This man was definitely not born in Kumogakure. Further still he had yet to introduce himself increasing tensions further if any. ((Recovery 30))

The situation Miko would be left in would be both inviting and repelling, pleasurable and uncomfortable. It was as if these two traits of judging an individuals character kept switching places infinitely even in the silence as he waited for Miko's response. The battlefield was covered in ink splotches. From the pillars, to the ground, to the walls. Some of the older ink began to slowly dissipate. If Miko was perceptive enough she would notice other colors in the mixes of ink. Forrest greens and pinks. The pink ink would have obvious indications of being adhesive seeing as it stuck to things having a gum like look to it. As he waited he began flicking his brush playfully along the ground traces of his elemental chakra leaking into it. It would distinctively display droplets of water and then tiny smooth breezes. Liori Q Mundo l Bakuton - Mouths Awakened l Kumogakure l Genin

Liori watched, confused, as Miko moved about in a almost frantically bewildered state. Jumping from one topic to the next before focusing down on a stranger half the yard away from them. 'Damn Miko the hell did you dri- wait..' She started as a thought before hearing how Miko described her, "White haired chick? That's my defining characteristic?" She would look almost offended as she got up off her a**, dusting her shorts clean of dust. She watched as the stranger started moving like a bowl of fresh jello, his body moving like it lacked solid bones. She bent over and rolled up her first scroll, tying it tight before picking up her second and third. 'C1? Grenade Belt? Well those... are interesting names,' She thought to herself, un-rolling the small scrolls on top the others like before. She took a quick note of its instructions before turning her attention to Miko and the weirdo across the yard. She placed her hands inside her clay pouches as she walked over to join them. The mouths on her palms began nibbling away at the damp clay, taking bits and pieces into themselves before closing tight. She pulled her hands from the pouches and quickened her pace over to her new 'group.' Which is when she heard the question posed to Miko, asking her about the level of self confidence Miko has for her body. Liori had a small snort to the post question, face struggling to hide the following chuckle.
[1/2]

In the back of her mind she was still orchestrating the infusion of chakra into her right hands clay, weaving her metaphorical string into its flesh. Like the ding of an oven, she felt the warm from her hand withering away as the mouth opened to spit out a small white bird. Having been working on the jutsu with her subconscious she was just a little surprised as the pigeon let out a small coo. <******** me I nearly forgot I was working on you.' She thought with a sigh, the pigeon seeming to react to her thoughts as it fluttered up onto her wrist. her attention was now focused on the bird rather than Miko and the jello man. Her thoughts controlling the birds movements as she sent the bird high into the sky before forming a single hand sigh. The bird started glowing as any onlookers would see, light spewing forth from its beak and eyes as its body started to expand and crack. With each new crack more light began peaking out until the bird erupted into flames and caused a minor but substantial 'BOOM.' "Uh.. wasn't me." She said quietly hoping beyond all reason no one else say her new plaything explode.
[2/2][Shī Wan (C1) Rank D, Get! -1 post from class, -1 post from academy for D rank. -10 Chakra]

It was while she was controlling the small bird that she split her mind into two halves, one focusing on the bird and the other working on a secondary jutsu in her left hand. With the sudden explosion above everyone head she felt the 'ding' of her left hand... the heat infusing its way deep into the larger bundle of clay. As the mouth opened in her palm she felt a warm liquid like substance leak from it, a long stream of clay pouring out in a whip like shape. On instance her left hand gripped at the end of the whip as it was finished being spewed, the clay felt less solid then her previous explosives. Her attention was pulled back to Miko and Mr Jello who seemed to be experimenting on a new ninjutsu. With a twist and flick of her wrist the three foot long whip wrapped upwards around her waist like a snake, gripping against her hips like a secondary belt... saving it for later use. 'Man what did I miss?' She thought to herself as she stood near the group like a third wheel.

"I am the sword in the Darkness...

The Young boy walked away from the dummy and stabbed the blade on the ground, and then he picked up the Shigure Suoen Scroll and read the last technique of the first part of the style. Another rather useless ability in combat, so it was almost entirely useless to him, but it did have some merit. Axel could see some preposterous moment when such ability would be of… some use. He pulled the blade from the ground and pumped it full of chakra, just as he had done with the technique he used prior, the Rolling Rain, only that the excecution, and effect would be different. Instead of cutting upward like he did with the Rolling Rain, he rose the weapon over his head and quickly sliced down, letting the chakra erupt from the weapon. As the chakra left it, it wasn’t concentrated as one might, not at all, it came out as a mist. Violently, a yellow mist that crackled with electricity poured from the blade and covered Axel and everything close to him, reducing the visibility of everything around him, including himself.
[Misting Rain Learned 1/1]

With the mist all around him he could not read what it was said in the scroll, but he didn’t need to. He knew what would come next, he had seen his sisters use this trick while fighting their father, although it never quite seemed to work, but it always seemed like a fun, albeit cheap, trick to pull, if it ever worked. The first thing he had to do though, was get a feel of the weapon’s weight and envision where the Dummy was. The mist would work against him, but that was part of the training, it couldn’t all be easy. He moved the blade from one hand to the other but remained in place with his knees bent. Once the blade returned to his right hand he let it go and did the mightiest kick he could muster, putting all of his strength on the kick. He did it so hard he could feel his body leave the ground. hehe.. that dummy’s going to get it now… He thought, and then heard the distinctive thud of metal hitting the ground, followed by the sound, and pain, of his body landing on the ground, and the feeling of utter failure.

“Damn it… I thought I nailed that…” he protested, rubbing his butt as he stood up. His entire back was in pain, but nothing hurt more than landing square on the a**. The bright side was that no one saw his utter failure, unless there was someone with some sort of sight jutsu close by exclusively looking at him, which was not likely. The redhead picked up the blade from the ground and the mist began to discipate. Now he could get an accurate line of sight with the dummy, and hopefully not fall. He got into position after waiting for the pain to lessen; he bent his knees and dropped the blade, once it was half way he gave it a moderately powerful kick, not nearly as strong as the one he had used before, but strong enough, he judged, for the sword to get some distance. And it did! He kicked the hilt of the sword and saw it rip through the air, stabbing itself on the dummy’s ribcage. It wasn’t a killing blow, not by a longshot, but if the dummy were to be an enemy shinobi, he would be in a world of pain right not.

"I am the sword in the Darkness...

Axel turned to his next endeavor, dropping the Shigure Souen for now because he believed that this next technique required him to have another person training with him, so whatever happened next, he believed would happen alongside a possible sensei, at least where the Shigure was concerned. He turned to the Tetsu no Ryuu, and the very first technique already caused problems with him, but it was not the time for that. His fingers wrapped around the blade’s grip, not the sparring blade he grabbed from the secretary, but the real one resting on his left side. He bent his knees slightly and came alive in a burst of speed, running toward the dummy, and once he judged he was close enough he stopped dead in his tracked, pulling the blade as his body dragged forward from the momentum of the sudden stop. His arms ripped through the air with the sword lagging close behind. The Katana’s tip sliced gracefully the dummy’s chest like practice sword had never done. This was the difference between live steel and a child’s toy.
[ Iaido 1/1 ]

He looked to both sides to ensure no one saw his blade out and quickly sheathed it once the technique was done and learned properly, it needed a few tweaks here and there, but then again, this was training. A technique always needs a tweak. With it Iaido behind him he could move to a different technique, one that albeit required a master in his opinion, he could formulate on his own. A Decade of Peace, what a noble thing to strive for, this was exactly what the maneuver wanted to accomplish; the defeat or incapacitation of the opponent without having to kill him, or even wound him in some cases. To at least get a feeling of this technique, Axel went back and got the sparring sword, and then walked back to the dummy. The boy picked up a wooden sword from a rack near the corner and put it in the dummy’s hand, simulating a stab. He took a couple of steps back, then retook them quickly, driving the sparring sword beneath the wooden sword. He pushed the training sword up and with the flat end redirected the tip of the wooden sword, and without a second so lose he drove his left hand into the dummy’s chest, pushing him back a few inches. Once that was done, Axel stabbed the blade to the ground to mimic the time of the sheathing.
[ A Decade of Peace 1/1]

The last technique in the first stage seemed like one that would be incredibly fun to do. He pulled the sword out and practiced jumping for a little bit, because he had no walls to use to gain more height. This was something he had practiced with his father back in their homes, he did not know it was from the Tetsu no Ryuu, but it was something he knew how to do. Most of these techniques were just a practice session for him if truth be told. Once he was done with the jumping he walked back ten feet and then ran as hard as he could, once he was three feet away from the practice dummy he jumped as high as he could and slashed at his shoulder. Even though this was a dull blade, the force behind his attack was enough to get the blade to stick into the wooden dummy’s shoulder.
