Yogurt
Ingredients
* 1 quart milk (any kind) * 1/4 to 1/2 cup non-fat dry milk (optional) * 2 tablespoons existing yogurt with live cultures (or you can use freeze-dried bacteria instead)
Steps
1. Heat milk to 185F (85C). Using two pots that fit inside one another, create a double boiler or water jacket effect. This will prevent your milk from burning, and you should only have to stir it occasionally. If you cannot do this, and must heat the milk directly, be sure to monitor it constantly, stirring all the while. If you do not have a thermometer, 185F (85C) is the temperature at which milk starts to froth. 2.Cool the milk to 110F(43C). The best way to achieve this is with a cold water bath. This will quickly and evenly lower the temperature, and requires only occasional stirring. If cooling at room temperature or in the refrigerator, you must stir more frequently. Don't proceed until the milk is below 120F(49C), and don't allow it to go below 90F (32C). 110F (43C) is optimal. 3.Warm the starter. Let the starter yogurt sit at room temperature while you are waiting for the milk to cool. This will prevent it from being too cold when you add it in. 4. Add nonfat dry milk, if desired. Adding about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk at this time will increase the nutritional content of the yogurt. The yogurt will also thicken more easily. This is especially helpful if you are using nonfat milk. 5.Add the starter. Add 2 tablespoons of the existing yogurt, or add the freeze-dried bacteria. 6. Put the mixture in containers. Pour your milk into a clean container or containers. Cover each one tightly with a lid or plastic wrap. 7.Allow the yogurt bacteria to incubate. Keep the yogurt warm and still to encourage bacteria growth, while keeping the temperature as close to 100F (38C) as possible. An oven with a pilot light is one option; see Tips for others. After seven hours you will have a custard-like texture, a cheesy odor, and possible some greenish liquid on top. This is exactly what you want. The longer you let it sit beyond seven hours, the thicker and more tangy it will become. 8.Refrigerate the yogurt. Place the yogurt in your fridge for several hours before serving. It will keep for 1-2 weeks. If you are going to use some of it as starter, use it within 5-7 days, so that the bacteria still have growing power. Whey, a thin yellow liquid, will form on the top. You can pour it off or stir it in before eating your yogurt. 9. Add optional flavorings. Experiment until you develop a flavor that your taste buds fancy. 10.Use yogurt from this batch as starter for the next batch.

The yardAnna and Mary sat on the grass, looking at the letter from Lady Cleoz. Here you read it Mary opened the letter and read... Letter Here is what i need you to do, just follow what the note said. Go to the front door and follow the red ribbon Well, we're out here and there's no sign of red ribbon here. The only red ribbon i can find is the one tied to your hair.Mary pointed at Anna's ribbon. Hmm.. that's true*reaching towards the ribbon* Anna pull the ribbon out of her hair and hold it in her hand. What are we suppose to do now? They both looked at the ribbon in Anna's hand. Suddenly, a strong wind blew. Blowing the ribbon with it. Ah, your ribbon..The red ribbon flew towards the east. Anna and Mary stood up and ran after the ribbon.....

The red ribbonAnna and Mary followed the red ribbon (just as the note written) , running and jumping to catch the ribbon. Anna reached for the ribbon and grabbing with her right hand. Phew, I caught it.Mary walked to where Anna stood. Great! But where are we.Both of them looked around. They only see trees and some wild mushrooms.Anna spotted a letter. Look over! A letter! It's up right there between the branches.Mary looked up where Anna pointed and climbed up the tree. Be careful. Mary grabbed the letter and hooped down to the ground. She sat down on a big rock and held the letter towards Anna. Anna took the letter and sat beside her, opening the letter. Letter 2 Nice weather, we're having. Look for a green mushroom and bring it with you. When you're done, follow the river down stream till you see bears. BEAR!!? The big furry animal with big scary claw. The one that people said not to run where you approach it. What happen it try to eat me!! NO NO Please No BEars...Anna patted Mary shoulder and said Don't worry, the bears is there is catch fishes not you. Come on, let's go find some green mushroomsThe search begin for green mushrooms......

The green mushrooms
Mary, did you find any of the green mushroom? Nope, but i found some other color mushrooms. Mary ate one of the mushrooms and brought some with her to show Anna. Look what i got. They're so pretty and colorful just like the rainbow.
Anna looked at the mushrooms that Mary was holding. There was a little purple on the side of Mary's mouth. You didn't eat any of the mushrooms , did you? Noow, why you said..tha..meow... Are you sure? Why are you meowing then? My cateow instinct got to meow.. Ok. Continue looking for the green mushroom.

Magic Mushroom
Mary thought to her self {If i eat a different mushroom, maybe this meowing will go away}. She ate another mushroom and continue searching. Ah. I found one. That's great meow The cat thing didn't wear off ,huh?
Mary took another mushroom on the ground and saw a black and orange moving under her, when bended down. Eeek! Mary covered her mouth and mumbled to herself. {A tail! There must be another one that could stop all this.} Is something wrong? Mary looked at Anna, placing her hands behind her so that she could hold her tail up. She turned her head left and right. Noow, everoeything's fineeow. I'm still looking forow them. meow Anna smiled and continue looking for green mushroom....
