Sephiroth's "spider senses" tingled as he had a bad feeling about something again and realized he left a blood trail. "That might be possible sooner than later..." He quickly moved away from everyone and ran to the door that he knew to be Jacob's and almost banged on it rather than knocked.
Once into a now even more cramped tiny room. "I hope you were thinking something along these lines. How much of a strain on us would it be to get these imps in these caves out of here... now?" He asked with a little more urgency in his voice than he usually did.

Xun had already been informed shortly after Mindy was about the blood trail. He wasted no time in appeaering at her quarters. He didn't seem to be wearing any armor, wearing the drab standard Niearcim mage clothing instead.
"My armor is now underneath my skin through a process that Lord Jiluzix conceived. I may still be scratched and cut, but not so deeply or broken as easily.
Come, the time for us to strike against the intruders and do our Lord's bidding is now."

"Excuse me? " But Sephiroth had already fled away in a hurry.
Jacob opened the door and let the angelic in, wondering why he was so frenzied, and not having a good feeling all of a sudden.
"Ah... It'd take a fair amount of energy, but I think we can manage it. Something's wrong, isn't it? Explain while we prepare."
"Not all of us are going, Sephiroth. I want the weaker of my kin to escape while they can, but I... I want to assist you. I know many underground routes that the Niearcim are unaware of, and though I am old, I can fight when it comes to it..."
Johnathon had followed Sephiroth to outside the door, also sensing something not right. He whispered quietly, gently as to reassure that he held no anger or ill feelings to the others.
"Somehow a trail was left to us, wasn't it? I don't know of the way or manner, but I would think you would only be this concerned of our escape if we were more easily tracked down now..."

"Blood trail. I was injured mostly by Jiluzix's fingers remember? I bled for a little while on the way here, even if Rosemary blew it away she could have missed a little and even if you sent someone to clean it up a vampire told me that I missed them despite their apparent death so even with careful clean up it might have been enough to give direction. Now that it is within the time for them to be up again, what better creature to look for blood? Do we need the entrance we came in anymore if the weaker go and we take other ways?"

"Ah... no, there's other routes we can take deeper into the caverns. It can be dangerous though, there are still a few wild creatures that lurk there. Some good for hunting, others best to avoid entirely.
There's smaller versions of the ghempi spheres we can take with us, though not many. It will help to keep us all healthy, particularly after more hazardous situations..."

As soon as Sephiroth realized the blood trail, the blood committed suicide and destroyed itself however the vampire followed the direction it was heading.

"Probably better than two or so mages still. Here, show him how it works Jacob." It was the pocket dimension Thas had on the belt given to Sephiroth.
"Your people should not require much. They need not linger for possessions even ones necessary like much food for it should be readily available. You might get more time for things you want to take once everyone is clearing out. Do not forget the books Johnathon because I only have one more copy left."
"Where are we sending them? Your home? The Soul Fortress?"
Jacob: "My home."
"Aren't they lucky..." said Sephiroth who has yet to go there, but would like to. "Don't forget to write Graz a note and make sure the deliverer is the first to leave."
To the Imp he said, "Rosemary and I will cause the entrance to collapse if you don't already have a means set up to do so..."
To Jacob now, "unless you want Thas to do it instead of me since you probably need a 'battery'."
Back to the imp, "have the telepathy capable imps to warn anyone to get out of there."
"I am sorry Johnathan but you also get the hardest job of all which is to convince them to go and that this isn't some trick. We won't force them to go to a new world..."
But I have a bad feeling about those who choose to stay from disbelief over other reasons thought Sephiroth.
Mother... we bled on the way here so there might be a trail to follow. We are going to collapse the entrance we came in by and Jacob is going to try to get them out of this world. Try to keep everyone calm... because you're good at it.

Jacob gave a slight grin. "Promise I'll show you around soon enough Sephiroth."
Johnathon nodded at Sephiroth about the bibles and not taking everything with them, as Jacob showed the demon how to work the pocket dimension storage. Afterwards, he started to carefully gather the demons in managable groups, alerting them to what was going on, and emphasizing not to panic. Fal'Jenul proved to be a great help with a sort of motherly aura she was emnating.
Once everything was in order, a dimensional portal was opened, and the entrances destroyed. Graz was surprised to have a legion of short, electrical imp demons come in, but thankfully everyone knew to expect them thanks to the handwritten note given to the lead imp. A number of the imp demons thought they somehow landed in a type of heaven, having never seen many green plants or natural wildlife... and having it in abundance in the mini-world was a slight system shock.
Still, there were a number that refused to go. Most of them were those that were extremely dedicated to wanting to help fight and help the rest of the refugees still stuck on Ni'Jitogrimiz. Deciding that Johnathon only needed maybe one or two additional of his friends to help them along, the rest solemnly spread out throughout the system of tunnels and caves to other colonies... with some extra help. Graz had the foresight to send a couple imps back temporarily with extra food and necessities to be spread out, before they went back to Jacob's home.
Johnathon lead them through a series of hidden doorways, pits with ladders, and the like all while chewing on beef jerky, commenting idly on it's flavor and texture postively while keeping his voice hushed.

"Sigh, no time to test if I am better at resisting that trick of yours when I am completely well."
Alpha had arrived as well. "Alpha gave me the idea from what he was doing, but the one he was following was a false trail. This was through no fault of his own because there is no way his species could pick up on as faint a blood trail as a vampire can. They are in a cave I believe and have recently collapsed the entrance," said Mindy as she prepared Adur to go out.
A portal opened and back was the vampire who found the trail. It found a seat and collapsed in it as Adur started to move and become active. Then they all left and ended up outside the cave.

Xun recommended that Alpha and Adur do what they can to remove the boulders and rocks from the entrances, as he located a number of buried bodies nearby to summon into helping them. Once the corpses were autonomously digging and scraping through dirt and stone, Xun joined in as well to make things go faster. Time was of the essence.

After what seemed like a lot of precious time passed Adur/Mindy said, "As I am not normally using Holy fire as my means of weaponry or skills, I wonder if using it to try to clear rubble would make it worse and collapse more or better... what do you think?"

Xun grunted as he threw a particulary heavy boulder off to the side.
"Let's try it. If that even fails, I can request that certain materials be brought in to blast away the debris. It is more dense than I had thought..."

The imp did so and soon they were inside. The heroes just barely left when the mages arrived at the abandoned village...

Xun sniffed the air, and examined the ashes that were moist with water from being put out.
"The scent of the living is still somewhat strong here, but it goes off in many directions. This is somewhat of a frustration... Let's search the area quickly, before they get too far ahead of us. They knew we were coming, the reason the entrances were sealed."

"I'm terribly sorry what happened back there Johnathon. At least they should be better off, but I'm not sure we could safely do another massive transport for the rest of you here if mages are indeed on our tail," said Rosemary. They would have picked up some residue of it and thus be alerted.
"It should be like heaven to them," said Sephiroth. Not to mention the it would be harder to stamp out the good news to the imps than it was before he reasoned since several of the imps went off with one of the Bibles to the other places.

"Let it be of no concern, Rosemary. I'd wager it was inevitable that we would be discovered anyway, one way or another. They've been hunting us down over the years like small prey.
I am glad those that chose to leave will find sanctuary then, Sephiroth. I can not express my gratitude for what you all have been doing for us so far."
Jacob: "Now that I know of your existance, I should let you know.. that I do at times travel into this realm for important purposes. If at all possible, I will try to get as many as I can out of this realm if they are willing to find some sort of escape."
Johnathon seemed to grin slightly at Jacob.
"Yes, thank you Jacob. I actually know of your exploits, if I am correct.... you're looking for a removal of a curse. Or rather, THE curse that those disturbing individuals use on some of their most hated. There are a number of times you've stirred their hive, and provoked their wraith. I'll be sure to try and spread word of what you'll be doing. And you have my sincere wishes of luck that you'll find freedom from your torture.

I'm guessing you've already found parts of the anti-curse by this point. Most are crippled by the curse, and you're looking rather well for someone who had half their face removed..."
Jacob gave a slight, quiet chuckle. "Thanks."
