XXXXXLetting out a soft sigh of relief, Rinnosuke allowed his piercing golden eyes to shift slowly over to the two next to him. It was a good idea on Akashi's part, thought he really didn't need the two of them to waste their own chakra, it was appreciated. Seeing the wave of water smash into a large Crystal wall, Rinnosuke let out yet another sigh. Standing up from the uncomfortable sitting position he'd taken, the Senju clan head stared at his four clones with a blank gaze, watching as they dispelled one by one. With that done he looked to each side of him before turning on his heel to look forward. Seeing the destroyed gates in the distance, he formed a single handseal before dissapearing in a swirl of water, heading towards them to see if he was needed. [Exit to - Gates]
Ryoku was almost stunned by the Hokage's speech. Or speeches rather. They were a bit moving and actually struck a bit of confidence within himself. Standing up ready to offer his assistance he noticed that apparently others were motivated as well, they seemed to jump to this task and that task leaving little behind for anything within his capability. Looking down as hit hands he really did lack much in terms of ability. His families jutsu style had ability but in situations like this fell short. Looking back up he decided he would need to learn some more jutsu to better help his village. As he noticed others sprouting clones here and there he only knew how to make a basic clone. It seemed a useful skill and as he thought more on it some clever ideas floated around in his mind.
Noticing most of the situation was handled by means he could not even wrap his head around, he gave in to the confusion and moved on. It seemed the Kyubii vanished for now so the immediate threat was gone.
Seeing the girl he had met earlier just stroll up to him and announce herself to a point and say something condescending. But it didn't phase him, his mind was made up on learning some new jutsu. Raising an eyebrow and nodding his head to her slightly to avoid any sort of argument he didn't have time for. He had to get going to check out some things at the academy.
Walking over to one of the counters he grabbed a pen and paper and tucked it into his pocket before making his way out the door. Seeing Sacreia performing some sort of earth mole technique. He spoke up to her wherever she might have been under the ground. "Take care, don't get stuck"
Chloe flies into the air from the entrance of the hospital, enjoying the fresh air once again. Flying a bit higher then usual keeping an eye on Ryoku which seemed the size of an ant.
Hearing the Nara say what he said made her grumble to herself as she then popped out of the ground as if nothing happened. Looking herself over she noticed it was almost as if she had not even been underground. Smiling to herself she decided that she might as well learn some more moves while out here. Thinking back to half the jutsu's she remembered reading back in the academy she went through picking out certain ones to try for. She then thought to herself she might want to go back to the academy just to make sure she had it down right and that she wasn't missing anything.
The clone entered the hospital looking for Sacreia but could not find any trace of her. He strolled inside and asked the lady at the counter if she had seen a girl with headphones and blonde hair had left or was still around. She proceeded to tell him that she left. Looking around a bit before sighing a bit to himself. The only lead he had on her was now gone and he really didn't want to search the entire village. "Lame..." Walking over to the entrance again he sat and leaned against the wall watching where she was previously training. 'She was obviously training jutsu here, last I saw she was practicing doton. She could have gotten stuck under the ground if that jutsu had an accident.' But then he remembered the lady said she saw her leave. The only other possible places she could have gone would be the academy to learn some more, went to get something to eat out of hunger, or home to take a rest. It should be safe to rule out the rest part considering how hard she was training. Doubtful she would burn out so quickly.'
Yawning a bit to himself he headed out. 'Academy it is Sacreia.'
Ryouichi would appear at the hospital right outside the front doors and would walk in as soon as he appeared. He'd go straight to the front desk and see if anyone needed help. A list would be handed to him and he'd go to the minor cases area of the hospital. Once there he'd call a name and see what they needed. His first patient had a cut on there arm, it wasn't too serious so he raised his hand up to the cut and hardened the blood inside the arm. He then took a piece of cloth and covered the cut. "There you go. Go ahead and check out." He'd give them a slight smile and pat their back softly.
Ryouichi would then call another name and the person would walk over to them. They had a slightly deeper cut and it looked pretty serious. To handle this one he put the clipboard with the names down for a moment and started to focus his chakra into his hands. A small ball would then form and he'd bring the ball to the cut on the person. The ball would heal the cut slowly and after a while he would move his hands away. "There all better. Have a nice day." He'd give them a smile just like the last and send them on their way.
Just like before he would call a person's name and they'd come up to him. This person didn't have that bad of an injury. It was just a bit of bruising and it didn't appear if they had any internal injury. Ryouichi simply told them that it would heal over the next few days by itself and that if they still had it over a while that they should come back. He'd smiled at them and again sent this person on their way.
Like all the times before Ryouichi called a name out and the person came to him. It seemed that this person was actually rather hurt. They had a broken arm, their arm had a rather large cut down it. "Hmm." Ryouichi would say as he started to form a ball of healing chakra into his hands and raised it up to the arm. It would heal slowly and would eventually close the wound. He would then find a piece of cloth and make a sling for the man's arm, telling him not to move it to much or it might get worse. With that he sent the man on.
Just Ryouichi was turning the clipboard back in a nurse came running out of no where. Without saying a word she grabbed him and brought him to a room with a man laying in the middle of the room on a medical bed. Ryouichi walked over and saw that the man was in much pain. It appeared that several things of shrapnel had been lodged in his body all over.
Ryouichi quickly put on some gloves and found a pair of pliers. He had to get to work or this man would certainly die from blood loss. With a precision not uncommon among medic-nin, Ryouichi slowly started to pull the shrapnel out of the body. With each piece taken out he would earn a scream from the man. However, he would press on while the nurse tried to keep the man calm.
Over time Ryouichi had pulled out over half of the pieces and he stopped for a moment to wipe his forehead. Then he quickly got back to work on the rest of them. Their was one piece that seemed to be extremely resilient, on this piece he slowly would pull it out to make sure to not tear the skin anymore than it already had been. When he finally got it out it started to bleed. Ryouichi brought his hand up over the cut and started to harden the blood. After a few moments it would be completely hardened and the blood would stop coming out. However, once the scab was gone there would unfortunately be a scar on the man. Another ten or so minutes passed before Ryouichi was able to take the rest of it out and he'd bandage the man up. With that the nurse would be able to take care of him for now. With a handseal and some chakra Ryouichi was gone as if he was never there.

He was about to be on a mission but he figured he had time for at least 6 patients. He was ready to help save lives now. Thanks to the gennin who showed him how earlier. Now it was time to begin in came his first patient.1-18
The first man who came in was Severely wounded. An amputee of his right arm. This saddened Satemy as it should never have happened in the first place. Satemy shoved the thought away and collected bandages. first thing was first. Stop or make sure bleeding had stopped.
Carefully placing new bandages where the staff had already applied pressure Satemy worked on his missing arm. Bleeding was mostly stopped and it didnt take long for him to get the man ready for the next level of care. A nurse had drugged him so Satemy didnt say anything to the man. off he went.3-18
Satemy had a moment to prepare for the next injured person. He hoped it would be someone less injured than the last. Satemy carefully washed his hands and then doused them with alcohol to sanitize them. Which was important for any medic to do.4-18
In came the next patient. This one far more messed up. Satemy at first didnt know how to help a burn of half his body. Medical books say there isnt a whole lot to do for it. So Satemy directed the nurse to lay dry sterile dressings on the man and drug him first.
When the nurse was done Satemy held his hands over the man focusing healing chakra over the worst portions of his body. To make it easier in the long runs for him. After healing most of the wound Satemy let the man go to the next level of care...He wished there was more he could of done. some of his body was still messed up from the burns...6-18
Satemy once again had a break from work to wash his hands. The as he did he thought to himself. Man the village was really messed up. That stupid evil giant fox messed everything up. He wished it had never existed in the first place. But he had a job to do now. which was fix it!7-18
The next patient came in. This one way easier to work with. Broken lower leg wasnt exactly a priority but he could manage it just fine. Most likely the worse off casualties went to more experienced medical teams. satemy knew just what to do. This one would be just after he was done.8-18
Satemy inspected the wound and as he thought a shin break but no arteries had been damaged. Which was good. seeing as the case would have been way worse had it been something more extreme. In any case he fashioned a splint and fixed it to the mans leg. Then he fixed both legs together so that they wouldnt jar his broken leg and cause him pain for no reason.9-18
Satemy as always got a break in between patients and started to wash his hands. This was good work. made him feel good about becoming a shinobi in the first place. As he finished the nurses rolled in the next patient. An Satemy began to work. He was confident now he could make them all right in the end.10-18
this man wasnt a man at all. But a child. Satemy all most froze after seeing the wounds the boy had. shrapnel in the body was no joke. Luckily Satemy knew that no serious harm was done. Most likely the worse off patients were sent to better teams. So he would do his best with this one.11-18
Satemy first noted all the places shrapnel had entered as well as what it was. It seemed that The shrapnel had only pierced his right side and right arm. Lucky the boys natural defense saved him. The rib cage protected all vital organs from harm. Taking his time so not to cause the boy more pain Satemy plucked each and every wood piercing and then bandaged his wounds. on to the next level of care the boy was.12-18
Just like normal Satemy washed his hands wishing the best of luck to his last patient. The young boy who was no doubt in a lot of pain. Regardless Satemy had to keep focused. he had a job to do after all. The next person who came into this room could need more than a little of his attention.
As if answering Satemy's thoughts the next patient came into the room. This one was seemingly in even more pain that the last. His legs had been torn right above the knee, Completely off.... This troubled Satemy as it appeared the wounds were still bleeding quite a bit. He began to work right away.14-18
Satemy after inspecting the wounds found the issue. He was losing so much blood cause the bandages although slowing bleeding down had no hemostatic agent in them. Meaning that There was nothing forcing the blood to clot on its own. Still Satemy had the nurses put pressure down for him and got two tourniquets. He placed them on the wounds and tightened them completely.15-18
After inspecting the man for any more wounds Satemy sent him off to get checked out at the next level of care. Possibly surgery was needed to correct that issue. Satemy washed his hands carefully scrubbing blood off and then took a moment to relax. it was time for the last patient he clocked in for.
Satemy watched as they rolled in a woman with an eye injury. He winced as he saw it but made sure to be on her blind side when he did. The wound looked grave. An he doubted the eye would be saved. Since the slither of two inch wood went straight into the eye from the side. He began to work. 17-18
As far as Satemy could tell major ocular surgery was needed to fix this wound. His job being to stabilize it for the surgery team. To do that he got a roll of guaze and stepped behind the woman. With the help of the nurse they managed to wrap the wound so the Wood wouldn't move anymore unless jarred in some way. Satemy prayed that wouldn't happen.With that he watched her go to the next level of care.18-18
Satemy then cleaned up and headed back to the gates for his mission. His job was done.

RYouichi would appear in the front office and he'd talk to the head nurse, telling her that he was sent here to help with a major surgery of some kinda. As soon as he told her this he was lead up to a room. When he got to the room there was a women sitting in the middle of the room on a medical bed. He grabbed the medical clipboard for this current patient and looked through it. "Hmm. Need a tonsillectomy. Easy enough." He'd smile disarmingly and put on some gloves for the procedure.
Ryouichi looked around for a tool that would come in very handy. He looked around a bit until he found a Harmonic Scalpel. He'd smile softly as he got it and turn it on. Invisible to the naked eye it would vibrate slightly. "Alright. Lets get you out of her." Ryouichi would have the nurse put the patient under anesthesia and once they were asleep he'd walk over and start the procedure. Slowly he'd move his scalpel inside their mouth and as soon as it was close to the tonsil he'd start to slowly cut it. The vibration from the scalpel would coagulate the wound to make sure they didn't bleed.
He'd smile softly and grab a pair of pliers. He'd then put that inside the persons mouth and gently pinch the first tonsil that he was cutting. He'd then cut it the rest of the way off and take the tonsil out of the mouth. Next, he'd move on to the next tonsil. The process was pretty much the same since it was still a tonsil after all. He'd slowly cut the tonsil and once it was about halfway cut he'd grab the pliers again and pinch the tonsil just like before. He'd then make sure to cut the tonsil all the way through before he pulled the tonsil out and set it next to the other one. Ryouichi would then take his scalpel out of the mouth and turn it off. "There we go. All done. Nurse they'll be okay. Just will need some pain medication or something when they wake up." He'd say before he took off his gloves one at a time, using the first glove to take off the second one. He would then have the nurse sign a paper saying that he had actually done the procedure himself. After the paper was signed he'd make a handseal and disappear from the hospital.

The three Senju, along with someone who possessed the Crystal Release Kekkei Genkai's efforts were a success. The massive wave of water was contained, preventing Konoha from receiving further damage from it. Terumi and her clones released the barriers they erected once the time became appropriate; the clones heading their own separate ways while Terumi stayed behind to assist the hospital with patients. She noticed shortly after the rampage of the Kyuubi and the toxic rain had ceased, that multiple Medical Ninja were coming back with injured civilians and shinobi. Surely, they would need a lot of help.
As Terumi approached the hospital doors and made her entrance, instantly, many pairs of eyes stared in her direction, and suddenly she was being overwhelmed by their voices. Asking for favors, giving orders, it was all too much for her right now as a Genin. A lady appeared within the crowd and silenced them, directing Terumi to follow her. She was lead into a small room with four children who were laying silently in beds lined up against the wall. One the other side of the room was a desk with papers spread about its surface, with basic medical items and tools surrounding it. "All of the nurses believe you are your grandmother. She was a wonderful Medical Ninja, and we expect the same out of you, Terumi. I know you have just started your career as a Genin, but there is still plenty that you can do. For now, I ask that you please learn the following techniques from this scroll, so you will be useful if any of the other Medical Shinobi request your aide." As the nurse handed out a scroll, Terumi reached out and took it within her hand, opening it to read it's contents. The nurse spoke again as she read, "Once you finish, your first set of tasks will be to help these children. Unfortunately, they received injuries during the rampage, but on the bright side, none of their wounds are too severe. Once you finish, meet me in the lobby for further instruction." The nurse left shortly after, leaving Terumi to do what she needed to do.
After reading over the scroll's contents, she examined the four children laid out in beds against the wall. She could visibly see some of the cuts and bruises on their skin, and some of them even had their clothing torn in various spots. Her heart sank as she looked upon their saddened, scared faces, the child in the last bed was practically in tears. "Please, do not worry, I am here to help you now." Her tone was gentle and motherly, hopefully enough to sooth the children so she could perform medical treatments on them. Walking over to the desk, the retrieved the first clipboard, and examined it as she approached the first child who laid in the best closest to the door. The first child was a female, her age only being nine years old. From what she could visibly see on the girl's body, and what was described on the clipboard, the child had only suffered minor cuts and scrapes that needed tending to. Laying the clipboard at the edge of the bed, she remembered one of the techniques listed on the scroll and figured this would be the best time to learn the technique. It was a cleansing technique, that removed the dirt and bacteria from one's skin or wounds. Laying her hands against the child's chest, she surged chakra through her body in a layer, the rest of the work was left to the layer of chakra, cleaning the wounds and freeing them of the dirt and bacteria. Terumi instructed the child to remain in bed, as she moved back over to the desk.
Picking up the second clipboard, Terumi skimmed over the information as she approached the second bed. This time, she was treating a male, who was twelve years old. There was a headband wrapped around his arm that was slightly tattered. Cuts were definitely present all around his body, and were deeper wounds compared to the previous child. Clearly, this child was a Genin like herself, and was trying to fulfill his duty as a Shinobi by aiding the village against the threats as best as he could. Terumi silently thanked the boy for his efforts before lowering her hands to his chest. The boy winced, and Terumi reacted by pulling her hands away, hoping she had not hurt the boy. She looked at him, and he simply gave a nod, allowing Terumi to continue with the procedure. Placing her hands on his chest once again, she surged chakra through her arms and into his body, letting it layer over his flesh, gently cleaning the wounds. His skin was now free of the dried blood stains and dirt; his wounds less likely to be infected. She left her hands on his chest, her palms glowing with a bright green aura, as the wounds upon his skin began to close. After the young Genin was fully healed, Terumi allowed him to leave, making sure he approached the nurse first before heading to the Hokage's office.
Walking by both beds and picking up the clipboards of the two patients she had just treated, she signed them, and stacked them neatly on the desk. A nurse came in and took the girl who sat on the bed by the hand, leading her out of the room for further treatment. This left Terumi with two more patients and a list of techniques to learn within a scroll before her task would be complete. Picking up the third clipboard, she noticed some valuable information written in red at the top of the sheet. In short, it explained that this child was recovering from a major injury, and she would need to perform a few check-ups before their release, along with any other treatments necessary. From her perspective currently, she saw nothing far more drastic than what she had encountered with the other two patients, other than the minor cuts and such. He seemed to be fine, but she saw this as a chance to practice a technique listed in the scroll. There had to be a reason why a section of the sheet was written in red, and as a Medic, it was her duty to make sure nothing was overlooked. Using a rather basic, but effective technique known as Diagnosis, Terumi ran both hands across the child's entire body until the internal organs and bone structure were visible through a screen of chakra. She examined it closely, trying to determine the different organs presents, and decipher the different types of chakra signals that would help her figure out what was wrong. Ten minutes went by, and she realized this child was recovering from a broken right leg and arm. There was not much she could do in this situation, so she called in a few nurses to take him to more experienced Medical Shinobi.
Terumi sighed, turning to the fourth child sleeping peacefully upon the bed. She hated to disturb his slumber, but the sooner she could complete treatment, the sooner he could return to his own bed and rest in peace. After picking up the clipboard with his information, she walked beside him, gently shaking him by the shoulder until he was awake. She smiled, greeting him, and he did the same. Examining his body, Terumi could see his condition was far worse than the other patients, but nothing that she couldn't handle. As he laid there, Terumi examined the cuts and scrapes on the boy's body. These flesh wounds were more severe than what she encountered with the others, and using the first stage of healing hands would not heal these properly. Placing her palms over the boy's torso, she focused all of her chakra into her palms; with this technique requiring more focus and chakra, she closed her eyes concentrating on the center of her palms. A dull, green glow became visible around her hands, a small ball of chakra forming at the center. It wasn't enough chakra to completely heal the wounds yet, but she could see that some of the minor cuts were already closing. Terumi took inhaled calmly, feeling a slight tingling sensation within her hands from all the concentration. The glow slowly grew brighter; the ball of chakra nested within her palms growing larger in size. Chakra layered over the boy's body, even the deepest of wounds now were closing, returning to its original unscathed flesh. Once he was completely healed, Terumi walked the boy out of the room and into the lobby. [Clones, Exit.]

Kiyomaru [ Cleanse ] Rank: E Official Description: It is not always possible for a medical nin to practice basic hand washing and other procedures. This technique has the effect of instantly removing bacteria, dirt, blood, and other contaminants from the user’s hands, lower arms, and face. It also insures that any breath that comes from the user’s body will be free of any bacteria or infectious disease. This technique can also be used to clean the wounds of others in order to prevent infection from bacteria. In the event that the medical nin is using this technique to prevent infection of an injury that has been inflicted upon them, it is used in the same manner as if the shinobi were using it on somebody else. Guild Description: See the official description. Holding one's hands out, simply concentrating on removing the foreign substances activates the jutsu.
Shindan [ Diagnosis ] Rank: E Official Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is preformed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds. Chiyute no Jutsu [ Healing Hands Technique ] Rank: B Official Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses chakra into the palms of their hands, creating a small ball of healing chakra. This chakra, when concentrated, can repair physical damage to another person. This is the more advanced level of Chiyute no Jutsu, used by Chuunin and is required to advance. A Chuunin has learned to use Chiyute no Jutsu with greater control and efficiency and it is now possible to treat deep serious injuries that might otherwise result in death from bleeding. -----Seeing triple was not something Shouka was used to witnessing at any given time. No, in fact this was only her second time where she had been required to use the amount of chakra she had just done in such short a time. The last had been when she had been building their dojo and home, and one of the support columns, beautifully wrought and shaped, had snapped from the weight of the roof. She had been at that time forced to create an entire set of columns to hold up the roof while simultaneously breaking down the roof that was falling and rebuilding it. The effort had left her not only weakened but slumbering for a straight week. Looking up, she saw the very same face, the same expression, looking down at her as she had that first time. The glaze in her eyes cleared as she reached a hand up to touch her Sister's face, though it was more her trying to figure out which of those three images she saw was the real one than a show of affection. Groaning, she used her sister's shoulder as a hoist to raise herself into a sitting position, though the crease between her eyes revealed just how taxing her movements were to her. "I am fine, Rei. Merely taxed." She looked up towards her creation with a neutral expression, weighing it. "Interesting. It seems my creation has instilled within everyone a sense of permanency. Let us hope the time never comes for me to reduce it to nothing." Her eyes slid to her sister, considering. "Thank you, my sister. You have done well." With this she lowered her forehead, hoping that Rei would do that same so their heads would boop together.
-----She realized at that same point that it was raining. Interesting, rain that was normal. That meant someone had to have created another rain cloud while she was recovering, for her memory was blank of when it had came into existence. Sighing, she looked around and watched as shinobi what were surely of the medical variety came and went, training and completing missions as recovery became the primary concern for their newest Hokage. At least, she hoped it was he who had ordered such actions. One especially attractive young woman whom she believed had been one of the Senju from earlier was healing children, likely practicing for larger treatments at a later time. The others she did not recognize, and were likely just static figures who were about their business of dealing with the sick and wounded. Well, here she was useless, at least for the moment. Knowledge of medicine she had, and much knowledge of the human body and its functions, yet jutsu that sealed wounds and cured ailments were not her forte. Eyes traveling back to her sister, she awaited the return of her head boop.

→ Used the below technique three times. One for Shouka and one for each of her clones. The jutsu creates 20 meter radius worth of crystals. I used math to get the footage area of that, and altered the formation of the wall, making it into the damn I just made above. Just to explain the creativity behind that.
► Shōjinheki [ Crystal Encampment Wall ] || → B Ranked [x] → Guren sends out a wave of chakra which then turns into an almost impenetrable crystal wall which also repairs itself when damaged. This crystal most likely has a similar endurance to the one created by the Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Labyrinth Technique. Only Shino's enhanced insects were capable of weakening the wall enough for Kakashi to finally destroy it using his Lightning Cutter. Creates a 20 meter radius field of crystals. Chakra-based techniques are treated as one rank lower against it.

This whole situation I'd done nothing but get in the way, though I wasn't sure if Rei felt the same. -----My affection in turn toward her usually reached through to Rei. Even if Shouka acted like an empty shell she was still my twin, still my little sister. Releasing her breath softly, Rei leaned forward, resting her forehead against Shouka's. After a moment she cast her gaze up. It was raining, as if the spirit had been drained from the village. It felt nice against the burns we had sustained though. But that seemed to be the last thing on Rei's mind. A resolve of some sort grew in the pit of my stomach. I wasn't sure what caused it, but I knew Rei's anger, even if it was subtle this time. And that was the sort of anger that never led to anything good. She pushed herself back up to her feet, pulling Shouka up as she did. "I was useless here. You know that as well as I do." Her gaze shifted to my sister. "I have to get stronger. Otherwise what's the point?" -----What's the point? That struck a cord. I wasn't sure what exactly she referred to, but she was hurting about something in her own mind. Without explaining herself, she let go of my sister and headed away, back into the hospital. Apparently she finally decided it was beneficial to get looked at.

Things that can snap her out of it include being knocked out by an enemy attack, her stamina dropping to zero (0), and her sister Shouka's (Lanfaer) voice.

-----ђer sister did not seem to grasp that to her her actions had been more than useful. Without her sister there to catch her she would have fallen into the glass, shredding her face beyond likely repair without deep scars. Not to mention that without Rei carrying the mirror Shouka's jutsu would have never actually worked. But Rei was someone who always seemed to desire being of use, and that was good to her younger sister, for to Shouka everything and everyone was valued based on their use. Looking around, the only one of value was her sister as far as she could tell. The others had ignored the two of them, had not spoken to them at all nor reacted. It was as if the twins did not exist in the same world as them! Likely, they were drugged out of their minds, retarded, or just idiots, or even a mad combination of those traits. Either way, they did not matter to her at the moment, only her sister.
-----At least until a snake appeared before her. Her eyebrow raised, and that was the extent of her reaction for the moment. "I would expect our new commander to visit in person, as befit common courtesy. Are we perhaps so low in her eyes as to be beneath common courtesy and are instead fetched like miscreants by a serpent?" She was annoyed, and exhausted. That made her snippish. Yet it was rather rude, and crude, of their commander to sent serpents after them and to call them to heel like hounds. This..annoyed her.

-----αt the appearance of the snake, where as my sister's reaction was to offend it, the only thought that passed through my mind was 'Oh, look, a talking snake'. I'm not sure if it was Rei's thought or my own because I was a bit delirious from pain now that adrenaline had died down and the burns actually started to burn. They'd been treated and covered, but whatever they'd used on it only numbed it superficially. Third degree burns went straight the muscle. Of course, Rei had to watch the whole time they were treating her arm, which meant so had I. -----"Well, I mean, technically..." Rei gave Shouka a cheesy grin. No, technically she was the miscreant, not my sister. She sat up on the bed she'd be put on. At this was her after a tranquilizer. It had done little in the way of stopping her, other than making her act like a drunk. "Calm down, Shouka, and let's see what the snake--er...person wants." Standing now, she straightened her ruined jacket and headed out the door like nothing was wrong.
