Sonyo spent some time talking to the spores, telling them everything that happened recently, telling them how she felt lost and useless and like she couldn't do anything despite the power she was gaining. How she kept losing the people she cared about and could do nothing to keep them with her. The pollen seemed to take a moment, to think, to take in her words, before speaking. "What about spreading you love of helping, child? Through all your mediums; through nature and through Eiseijutsu. It doesn't matter if you don't directly save someone, but knowledge is a powerful tool that can be used to do more than save a life. It could save a save a family, a household, a village."
Sonyo relaxed back against the great tree, looking up at the sky and taking in a deep breath. The pollen was right. How many lives might she had saved by educating the people along her trip to find her parents? How many lives might she still save some day? Sonyo's shoulders relaxed as she breathed out, her eyes closing in to sit on this new-found knowledge, this new found purpose. She could be more than she was; more than a wife, more than a jinchuriki, more than a shinobi. She could be a well of knowledge, a teacher for those that needed to be taught. Sonyo opened her eyes finally, staring up at the spores with a new light lit in her soul. "You're right... Can I ask one more favor of you?" The pollen let out an affirmative.
"I want you to go out, to go find other evergreen members and other Iryo nin that feel the way I do. I want you to go find me students, no matter how far. No matter if it's Kirigakure, Giman, Takumi, or Otogakure, I want you to find them. Bring them to me." The pollen let out a noise much like laughter, before beginning to float away. "As you wish, child. We will find these few, and bring them your way." Within moments, the sentient spores were gone just like they had come.
Sonyo looked at her destroyed shrine, fixed it up, and then went on her way out of the forest. It was time she stopped crying and started doing something. She felt Shukaku's silence inside her, like she had stunned the beast. Good. Sonyo walked different, more proud, more ready, then she had before.
