Houou and Taka had made there way through the gates of Takumi and began the long journey to Kirigakure. Houou had never been to the land of water, never the less the illustrious village of Kirigakure. Luckily Ōjo had sent him with Taka, who would serve as the perfect guide. Taka was a quiet man but he was very reliable for navigation purposes.
The final assignment in the string of missions handed to Roxas by the illusive rogues was the most violent out of the tasks he had been trusted with up to that point. It brought him back to his earlier thoughts about Kokoro and how she wouldn't approve of any of this. She was gone though and had no say in Roxas' life now. He had to do it. The laughter of children would manifest in his mind suddenly. His legs would collapse beneath him and his arms would brace the impact. He felt breathless. The laughter was growing louder. "Please." He pleaded before hearing a carriage approaching him. "s**t." He cussed before running towards the forest and hiding among the trees.
The carriage halted most definately due to Roxas' appearance. Out of the carriage jumped 3 shinobi of the village hidden in dreams. Their headbands displaying their unique three Zs. Shinobi from that village didn't hold a reputation for being the strongest. Roxas had fought with their kind before. Before settling he and Kokoro had traveled all across the shinobi world together before settling together and..."Stop." He mumbled to himself while making the appropriate hand signs to use transformation jutsu. It was time to act and stop thinking about his past.
He remembered the man from the herbal fur store. Roxas was not a man of detail, but he could pull off someone he'd seen without facing too much difficulty. In the blink of an eye his body would change into the man he stole. He never did check to see what was inside the journal. Maybe he was better off not knowing. Either way the time to act was now. The moment he jumped out the three shinobi all yelled in panic and fled. Roxas just stood there blinking by himself not really understanding what had just happened. Either way he still had a mission to carry out and wouldn't wait around for those men to come back. Lifting up his sword the man would smash the carriage to bits. Things were way too easy.
"Halt!" He heard in the distance. Authorities from some village were approaching rapidly. The note told Roxas to not let his identity be discovered. There was also a part of him that thanked the men for running away from him. He didn't want to become a monster after all. He was much more than what the world had made him. Without looking back he would escape the scene.
Roxas walked alone like before. Dead set on his path to become a part of the underworld. The village of rogues was his usual place to stay, but ever since he had met his group things have changed. They are all different from the Sasagi crowd. Maybe bad habits would resurface.

Once he had gotten paid Atsuko left the city rather quickly. After what had transpired on his last mission he wanted a bit of resting time before he did anymore work.

More than just a little aimlessly, Luna wandered. She… er… might have been a tad lost. There had been a giant, well-paved road, but instead of taking that, Luna took another, just as large road. The road wasn’t nearly as neat… or safe. In fact, walking down this road to Gimangakure, and not Takumi, Luna caught sight of a bandit attack, and she did the only thing she could do… hide. Hide as quickly as possible and hope she wasn’t noticed as the bandits and their victims ran her direction. No, more than that, as the bandits reached the victim right in front of her hiding spot and cut them down.
Soft Mental: Stopping, kneeling, and performing focused, critical thinking for any number of posts will gift the user a boost to a single known Formless Style, for as many posts as the user focuses. The buff increases per post, starting at a slight boost on the first post, then moving to mildly on the second, then moderately, heavily, greatly, and finally supremely after 6 posts. Higher ranks of training in this Style increase maximum rank of the bonus by one, starting with a mild boost at D-Rank. Cannot stack with the Hard Mental style. Rank: D Luna waited with bated breath in her hiding spot. It seemed after leaving one dangerous bunch behind, she just had to run into another set. Sure, she had successfully hid herself in time, but for how long? She didn’t know. She had to prepare, physically and mentally. [1/2 D-rank]
Luna ran the advice through her head over and over again as she took deep, wavering breaths. From where she kneeled in her hiding spot, Luna focused on her breathing and her body. With her mind, she readied herself for the fight that might come. [2/2 D-rank]
The bandits continued to linger on the road, never straying far enough away from Luna for her to escape. She remained still and continued focusing with all her might. Although, she was struggling to figure out by herself what it was she was supposed to be focusing on. [1/4 C-rank]
Maybe she just wasn’t thinking hard enough about her body? However, there really wasn’t anything more Luna could think about her body. She didn’t dare move and she didn’t exactly have a lot of options past springing up once found and hoping to surprise the bad guys away. [2/4 C-rank]
No, like that was going to work. Luna had to try harder than that. It seemed silly, but she had found success in using the ink brush she had on her person. She could start with that instead. Swipe it across the eyes of whoever happened to step a little too close to her. [3/4 C-rank]
No, maybe she should be ready to defend instead? What would she do if the bandits nonchalantly talking to each other in the middle of the dead they had just killed and stolen from actually had already sensed her presence? She could swipe her brush against the eyes of one of them or… or… she could flick her wrist in the other direction to deflect an attack. Yes, that could work, and oh. Now the bandits were gone. What a relief. They hadn’t noticed Luna at all. [4/4 C-rank]
As the run-in with the bandits that had ended happily, for her at least, Luna crawled out of her hiding place. She paid her respects to the dead, but moved on without further ado. She had been taught from the beginning the limits of someone weak like her in the freedom and chaos of the lands outside of the villages’ rule. She learned this important lesson very quickly, easily abandoning what she had been taught about such laws like not stealing with speed that might have scared her if she wasn’t only a child of eleven years old. Children were adaptable, after all, and if she hadn’t learned to accept that morality was gray and stealing was just survival of the fittest being put into action, then Luna would have died not long after being sent out to find herself. She hadn’t wanted to leave Tsuki, but the older woman probably knew best. Luna just had to accept that she would need to find new people to be with. The thought of being alone frightened her to the point that, thinking back on it, none of the people she had met at the funeral slab were really that bad. She actually kind of missed them, even the crazy man and the Kirigakure ninja.

Kaimon [ Channel ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: Allows the user to leave trails along the path of the brush stroke in whatever element the user imbues it with. Trails will affect all brush strokes for one post per rank, and will make any offensive or defensive brush-based techniques up to this technique’s rank the chosen element. If used with ink, the ink becomes imbued with the element and will retain it if used with ink-based techniques for the duration of this technique. It was too late to go back, though. Luna just needed to keep moving forward, and while she was at it, also figure out how to defend herself. She took her brush out and tilted it this way and that, practicing how she could deflect oncoming attacks with her brush. Luna also knew that it was important to always be thinking on her feet, so she tried to imagine herself deflecting attacks while also observing the enemy. [1/1 Naderu]
Luna pondered as she swiped the brush to the side. If she had hit the enemy’s eyes, then the attack might have worked, but if not, then she would have been screwed. the bright girl discovered by herself probably the one most used concept used in bukijutsu styles. Filling her brush with chakra, Luna swiped and let loose a line of chakra like she was painting upon paper with ink. The slash moved a little bit out and disappeared, but not before pushing away a falling leaf. [1/1 Kaimon]

Fude Kyouka [ Brush Reinforcement ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The user reinforces their brush with Chakra, allowing the brush to withstand attacks up to the rank of this technique. Additionally, the brush is anchored to the user’s hand and cannot be forcibly removed by a technique less than this technique’s rank. Lasts for 4 posts per rank. Luna continued to walk and practice, returning the the deflecting simulation of before. With a super concentration frown on her face, she swished the brush this way and that, her walking slowed by the various stances her feet took. Did she actually know if her stances were right? Er… Well, surprisingly, kind of. Watching Takeda practice was a sort of shared hobby of the village children. Well, not just Takeda. It was the village’s self defense force in general, but it was always most interesting watching someone close to one’s age, which was why ever since Takeda earned the trust of the village, he had been the center of attention for the younger generation. While practicing deflection, Luna came upon two conundrums. They actually made her freeze in place, ceasing her walk altogether simply so she could stand in place and think. The first was… what if her brush wasn’t strong enough? Regardless of how well made it was, it was still just a teeny tiny brush. The second was… what if someone else deflected her weapons? How was she going to make sure she didn’t lose her only weapon? Luna… Luna didn’t really know the answer, so the answer must be chakra! Yes, chakra to reinforce her brush, like cushioning that didn’t get in the way, and… and… sticky chakra to make sure the brush remained in her hand, like how she walked on trees! Luna put this idea into practice immediately as she continued her serious way down the path fate had chosen for her. [1/1 Fude Kyouka]

Houous de his way north to the snowy mountain peaks with Atsuma in tow. The journey evoked several emotions inside Houou. He was greatly concerned for his team mates and wondered if they were keeping safe. Pressing on Houou steeled away his worry and resolved himself to trust his teams strength.

__ Ada was mindful of their surroundings to the best of her ability as they traveled through and left the Land of Lightning. Her alertness only increased as she followed the twins unto foreign soil. Still, she was rather pleased with the pace as the neared ever closer to their destination.
