"So, you new here?" Aaron asked in an attempt at conversation after getting his food and returning to his seat next to her.

"No, I've been here since 7th grade." Crystal said as she started eating her pizza. She liked to keep her answers short and blunt.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Huh. I'm surprised we've never been in any of the same classes before then. I've been here since 5th grade, this is just my first year living on campus." Aaron said before smiling sheepishly. "Of course, my memory for faces isn't the best thing ever, so for all I know, we did, I just fail at remembering."

Nero looked to each of the twins and smirked slightly. Glancing around the table Nero grabbed a seat next to Dante and picked up his apple before taking a large bite out of it. "So what're your names?" He asked as a general question to the entire table.

(Lucky you. Its currently 1:13 AM and I still havent been hit so im feeling good so far All weve gotten is rain)

"Dante." Dante said and turned to face Nero, accidentally spraying bits of food at him. "Virgil, and I apologize for Dante's food spray habit, it only happens when you're in front or next to him." Virgil said, rubbing his temples.

"You're a year older which is why we haven't been in the same classes." Crystal explained. Each grade had different classes than the next so it was unlikely that a 10th grader would be in a 11th grade class.

"Ah pleasure to meet you," Nero said somewhat quietly as he wiped some of the food off of his face. Taking another bite of his apple Nero turned back to Virgil. "So how long have you two been going here?"
(That has got to suck I just recently got power back. like within the past hour and my basement flooded)

Aaron blinked in surprise. "How'd you know? I didn't think I said anything about my grade."

Crystal didn't realize what she said as she frantically tried to find an excuse on how she knew his grade level. "I-I know b-because of the...newspaper...Y-You've been on there a lot right? They had your grade on there." she said, hoping that was good enough.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"That's true. Travis is probably sick of me by now, I've made the front page so many times." Aaron said with a grin.

Crystal mentally sighed in relief. Seemed like it was easy to trick Aaron, then again, he is a moron. "Your front page moments are not achievements." she said.

"Eh, everyone's a critic." Aaron said with a shrug. "I like to think I'm helping to spread a little cheer around here. No better gift than a smile, I always say." Aaron said with a cheery smile of his own. "Besides, they haven't all been my personal brand of artistry. A few years back, I played with a band for a few school events, but they've all graduated by now, so I'm hoping to get a new group together. You play any instruments?" he asked before cramming another forkful of food into his maw.

"No, I never liked instruments." Crystal replied as she finished up her pizza. For once, the cafeteria food was pretty good.
