Skye couldn't help but laugh at Terrence's response to Paul. "Throw in a deep fried twinkie and he'll probably would be a valid test subject." she joked as she continued walking and headed into the acrobat tent.

Paul frowned at the thought of being a test subject for Terrance's dental school. He never liked dentists, much less new ones. "Maybe I'll just have some carrots instead." he said sheepishly as they arrived to the acrobat tent. "Why not have the dental student go first? Maybe put him in some scrubs and scare all the candy eaters inside" he added with a wide grin as he gestered for Terrance to take the lead.

"I think they'll be too busy watching the performances. If you want me to go in first though, then I will" Terrence replied with a smirk and then started going into the tent.

Eric chuckled a little bit as they headed towards the acrobat tent. It always seemed that Terrence needed new test subjects and the students he taught needed someone to practice on. Eric really had no idea how Terrence found all these willing (or not) participants, but the next one was definitely not going to be him. He mostly ignored all the food stands as they passed by for that reason, but also just because he didn't want any.
When they approached the acrobat tent, Eric waited for his other three friends to go in before he did. There were quite a few other people in the tent, and that was why he didn't see that Shayna and Axel were here, too.

Skye was still giggling as she followed the boys into the tent. She looked around to see that there was quite a bit of people in here, but it wasn't too crowded. She then looked up to see the acrobats and was amazed. A big smile spread across her face. The circus was truly amazing.

Terrence squeezed his way through the crowd so that he could get a view of the acrobats. He bumped into a young man in a suit. "Oh, sorry" he apologized and continued on.

Paul smiled as he walked in and watched the acrobats. He always loved how they looked doing their stunts, but in no way was he envious of them. One wrong move and you could plummet to your death. Those safety nets weren't exactly a guaranteed failsafe.

Shayna nodded as they flipped through the air. "Yeah they are!" She said loud enough so he could hear her. She watched until all the acrobats swung into their own flips into the air and started the finale. It was so awesome! She was almost speechless. Happy to be watching she looked around and noticed a familiar tuft of brown hair but didn't pay it no mind as she turned her eyes back to the acrobats. She oohed as a line of several acrobats hooked together swung down. It was probably half way to the ground when one started jumping after the other and landing on the trampolines to make a human pyramid. It was so cool! When they finished Shayna turned to Axel. "That was awesome! I think the show restarts in half an hour if you want to get something to eat. My treat?"

There were a few times when Axel had to turn away from the performing acrobats. There were so many close calls. Finally the show ended with cheers and applause. It was time for intermission for the crowd and the performing acrobats. Shayna offered her friend to get something to eat. Axel couldn't see the harm, plus he was a bit peckish. Some carny food was always good. Good thing she was treating too. Axel was flat broke. "Sure." The boy replied happily. Axel got up and left the tent with his best friend. It if wasn't for their differing clothing, one might that they were on a date.

Shayna chuckled at how happy her friend seemed to be at the thought of food. And probably adding the idea of getting away from the acrobats performance. She stood and left after him. Being the first to leave the tent she didn't really let her eyes wander. But she couldn't help wondering who all in town had shown up. The first place she bounded too in her ripped up victorian dress was the funnel cake and deep fried oreo station. Oh how she loved deep fried oreos. She ordered two plates and topped one on top of the other and handed the second plate back before paying for it. "Alright I've got what I want. What do you want?" She said grinning before taking a bite out of one of the puffy brown yummy ness

Terrence was a little disappointed that they arrived in the tent just as the acrobats finished their performance. He turned around to see if the others were still nearby. "I guess the performances have finished for now" he said.

Eric applauded for the acrobats as they left to go take a break, and then turned to his friends. He had seen Shayna leave out of the corner of his eye but was trying not to pay much attention to her. The events of last night were still too fresh in his mind and he really couldn't afford to be that stupid again today.
Paul, Skye, do you guys still want to get something?

"Well at least we still got to see some of it." Skye said to Terrence before answering Eric's question. "Yeah! Can't go to the circus without eat one of the snacks here." she said with a smile. Not everyday you get to eat cotton candy or caramel apples.

Terrence had a dislike for carnival food, since most of it was laced in sugar and sticky sweetness like cotton candy, candy corn, and caramel apples. Oh well. He'd settle on a regular bag of popcorn if there was any left.


Brendan decided to send Shayna a quick text. You mentioning being at the circus inspired me to pen a new song. Composing it during breaks between practice for the show tonight. Don't have the lyrics yet, but the music will be carnival themed.
