After all the training he did, it is time to get back to business at hand. He was instructed that this place was the kage's office. But the Mizukage wasn't present. However another ninja of the hidden mist was present and approached him and asked why is he, a leaf nin, here in the hidden mist village. "Recieving a message from the Mizukage. Political stuff. You?." He responded that there was suppose to be a message for him but he is waiting for the Mizukage to retrieve the message and also responded to the ninja why she is here?
Toryu nodded in understanding. She leaned against the wall, having nothing better to do at this time. "Ok. I'm wondering if you could indulge me. Currently my mind is a little bit of a mess. So a conversation could do wonders. Could you tell me about konoha? The landscape , the people, your government? Don't have to, and im not trying to get Intel. I've never been outside of water country. " She said in a docile tone. The girl seemed ultimately relaxed, leaning into the wall.
"Oh that is an absolute rule for genin, for safty and all that crap. Until your captain or leader is comfortable than you'll stay inside your country. For genin at the least. Like for me, I'm only delivering and retriving a message from the mizukage. Basically a delivery boy so there really isn't anything special. Konoha is an awesome place. It has everything that you could need. Your village has a fighting exhibition event now I think. Man, that is so awesome. Konoha needs that to happen. Hey, if you ever become a high level genin or chuunin, come visit. I'll show you around; trust me, it'll be like candyland. Oh and the names Ichiryu." he explained how good the hidden leaf is and introduced himself.
"Taylor. I'll have to look you up. Don't think I'll ever get to go to konoha though. Chances are pretty slim anyway. " She shifted on her leg and styled into the new position to give her left leg a break. "Sensei isn't even paying attention to me at this point. Probably not worth the effort. That's my guess anyway. I have no idea why I'm telling you this. Your a foreign operative. Could even be my enemy one day. " She said, ands crossing over her smallish chest.
"We all start off with low reputation, know what I'm sayin'. I wen tthrough it, it sucks, for now. And 'enemy' is such a strong word, and I like you even, so I dont see you being my enemy at all. If we are talking about us battling against each other, than we would be oponents at the next chuunin exam, at the least, or even alies for future missions with the village. " giving off a huge grin, liking this conversation with Taylor.
Taylor smirked, immediately suppressing it. "Duty comes forest for us here. But positive intervillage relations are something we could use more of. From what I understand your Village had abandoned us in the past when we needed you guys. I don't hold a grudge but others might. "

The doors to the office swung open as a tall ebony haired man entered. Loud steps from heavy boots followed by a billowing black cloak as the air itself seemed to still by his very presence. A stone face with cold, piercing gray eyes stared straight towards the secretary as he approached. He ended his march directly in front of the desk. He was distinct from the average Genin who would walk into the office to ask for a headband, which was his mission. He carried himself with a resolute confidence and was noticeably older with a face weathered by a past he would rather forget. His confidence was distinct from arrogance, he knew who he was and he knew who he was meant to be, not out of the luxury of choice, but out of a dutiful assignment by society. He had the same lack of combat experience as any other Genin around, that much was certain, but there was a certain authority that came from his brutal self-clarity.
This was the day where he would begin his service to his village and his crusade for justice, order, and the law. This was a day where the swordsman would feel excitement if there was any room left in his hardened soul for it. "Hello, may I have my headband? My name is Kenshin Kosei. May I see the Lord Mizukage if he is available?" His voice was deep, thunderous, and authoritative by nature. Nonetheless, his words and his intentions were clear as well as respectful. This sentinel was a man of few words as they meant little for him in the face of duty. He wanted to meet with the Mizukage if at all possible because he felt an urgency to communicate his goals and prove he was not the scum he was born into. "Today is the judgment day." The Sentinel thought as he patiently awaited a response.

"Oh man, I bet the Mizukage was hiding some kind of resentment when I showed up, no matter how small the distaste. If I have known than...I have a strong realization on what the answer that the Mizukage will give me." This is going to end badly. Knowing that there was an issue between the villages. If Ichiryu would have known that, then there could have been different. "Maybe if I could bring the Hokage here, then.." he wen tot deep thought on different scenerios that could help the two village relationships. "Say, Taylorl, how would you fix a broken trust between villages?"
"Mizukage is out it would seem. Not sure where he is. Haven't been tracking him since the incident." Taylor said to the ebony haired person . To her new friend she simply responded "Sure. How do you want to play this"
"I came to see the kage, if he is absent then I even more free time than I had. You know I think if you were to be a representative of your village as I am to mine than we could repair that trust; stars slowly but surely. What do you think?"
[･･･] Inka clapped his hands - a loud, sharp sound that had announced his arrival with a noice his feet were completely lacking. The bottom hem of his robe was sopping wet. "I apologise for the weight, Senju." He spoke to the Konoha nin. "I'll have it written up within the hour - wait or enjoy Miss Taylor's company. I'll see you soon. And Kenshin!" The Godaime removed the robe from his shoulders and hanged up on the hook by his office door. "Follow me." He spoke, the smirk on his lips unchanging. "Close the door behind you." He announced, with a wave over his shoulder. The office was nothing more than wood and glass. The old genjutsu that had once inhabited it removed the second Inka gained the authority and knowledge of its placement. Couldn't stand it.
Taking his seat at the desk, Inka moved aside the stacks of folders and pulled towards him a blank piece of parchment...
"I was wondering when I get you in my office..." Inka mumbled, eyes on the paper as his hand quickly scribbled away with a pen. "And perfect timing, too. On your part."

Kenshin heard a sharp clap from behind him as he turned his head around and the Mizukage came into his view. Immediately he turned the rest of his body and crossed his right arm over his chest with a bow as a respectful salute. His Lord was incredibly straight to the point in addressing all of three of the individuals there but called particular attention to Kenshin. When he waved to him Kenshin moved promptly and followed behind him into the office. As the Mizukage took his seat and began crafting his letter Kenshin stood in front of the desk and knelt with his left knee on the floor and his right knee elevated. He unhooked his sheathed katana from his hip and held it in front of him with both hands on top of the hilt. His head was down as the knight responded to his king. "Of course, Lord Mizukage, thank you for having an audience with me." Kenshin, the watchman, continued his dutiful words. "I have come to receive my headband and begin service in your village as a shinobi if you deem me worthy. It would be the greatest honor of my life and I will serve faithfully until I die. As you know, my father betrayed the village and had me in a prison inside of Gimangakure. I'm a man who was born outside of society's great door and those of us born outside of it can either choose to attack it or guard it. I have chosen to guard your laws until my soul leaves my body." His tone was serious and entirely earnest while also being low enough for only his Lord to hear him. "My ambition is to serve as a police initiate for now in order to gain law enforcement experience until I can join the ANBU police force. After that I will apply for the great honor of becoming one of the Seven Mist Swordsmen." Kenshin was an honest man of sterling moral character and that authenticity bled through in his speech. "Do you have any assignments for me?" He now waited for the Mizukage to respond to him and perhaps give him a mission. The Shinobi Sentinal would now be born and was anxious to prove himself.
There is no need for for that Lord Mizukage. In fact I was having a great conversation with Taylor. Though I learned something that would have been beenifitial on my arrival. May I ask you something if you don't mind? he plans to ask if he dislikes or even resents the hidden leaf and if there is any way that the two villages can rebuilt that trust.
[･･･] Gold and red-flecked eyes showed some amusement, but as Kenshin's words continued, they morphed to some other emotion. Slowly, the pen in Inka's hand stilled and those eyes were locked on the Genin's knelt form. Silence filled the room once Kenshin had finished speaking, barely disturbed by even their breathing. "You remind me of myself, not too long ago." The Kage finally spoke. "That's dangerous. A dangerous path..." Inka leaned back in his seat with a sigh, pen discarded on the paper.
"Your past does not concern me. Your future does." A pause, gaze watchful. "Stand, Kenshin. I have a mission for you. You will lead a squad, and this squad will escort the Konoha shinobi outside. However..." Inka sighed and leaned his head onto an open palm, elbow locked on the desk. "The Shinobi came to us with no papers to prove his identity and only his word that the Hokage wants a Kage summit. Pff," Inka sneers in distaste. "I hear the Hokage is young but this? Either she is a fool to send a lone Genin without any identification, or there is a trap to... obtain something from us. Perhaps my life. So," Inka readjusts himself in his seat. "I am writing two letters. One you will show as the official document. It is a decoy, with no real valuable intel. The other is actually for the Hokage. Only you will know this. If the boy is lying, if he's a threat, escort him back here for interogation, or to Konoha to dump him there and warn the Hokage about this trick - so long as it is safe to do so. Whichever village is closest. The squad you command will know only to escort the Leaf nin back home. This could become as high as an S-Rank. The moment it becomes too dangerous to handle, get your teammates to safety. Here, Konoha, even Kumogakure. Any questions, Kenshin?"

Kenshin silently listened to his Lord's words before rising on command, mounting the sword back on his hip, and standing in front of the desk. He stood quietly as he listened carefully to his leader's orders his gray tunnel eyes pierced through the desk as he looked down towards it. "Understood, sir. Only one question, may I have my headband?" Now that his speech was over Kenshin was now returned to his silent and sure self. "I'll ensure that this important mission is done to the letter. Justice is in my hand, no man is beyond my reach." With that he extended a black leather gloved hand to receive the letters whenever the Mizukage was ready. He planned on storing the real letter securely in his right coat pocket with the decoy in his left.
