lol that's kinda why the show is annoying to me. it just seems like cheating.
Not really... Sebastian has beat the heck out of him, so has William, and so has this random army of puppets... He's got beat up enough times to make up for not being killed. Plus because his chainsaw was unauthorized it was taken away and he was only allowed to use scissors as a weapon. Why would anyone want to kill Grell or the other three reapers any way... well the three that are known, all the others don't show up till the end when theres a bunch od souls that needed to be reaped during the great fire in 19th century london...
-theres Grell: the awesomely insane red head with the chainsaw
-there's William who well he's not too important because he's rarely ever seen just shows up every now and then
-and then there's the Undertaker, whom no one knows he's a reaper till like half way through the series... he just shows up randomly and happens to always have information... though he only gives information at the price of a REALLY good joke.
It turns out he was the legendary death god but has gon into retirement.... though at the end he uses his scythe again to help the other reapers
Chars who can die but are just real hard to Kill would be
-Sebastian the demon butler
-Pluto the "devil dog"
-Angela an angel... by the way she's a total disgrace... so glad Sebastian killed her... I normally like it when angels win but she needed to DIE
And then all the other MAIN characters are mortals that can die
-Ciel Phantomhive the main character, Sebastian's boss
-Elizebeth, Ciel's fiancee
-Finny the gardener
-Maylene, the maid....
-Bard the cook
-There's also Lau and Ran-Mao
- Madame Red, Ciel's aunt
And I think thats it for important characters... but plenty of folks can die... Grell's just among the few that can't ^^
