Lavinia frowned as Hufflepuff got 10 points on the board. When Benny passed the ball to her, she raced off down the pitch. She knew she wouldn't be hanging onto the ball for every long. It wasn't her strong suit. Taking hits was though. So finding Iggy, she called his name and tossed it towards him.

Aidene surveyed the field, after her failed hit and saw her Cooking Club Captain score. She grinned with a shake of her head. It sucked that he scored against her team, but she liked the guy.
"Good try, good try," she called to Benny, giving him an encouraging salute before flying after Lavinia, giving her a little escort. When she passed the quaffle though, she peeled off and whacked a bludger towards Shui, intending to dissuade him from stealing.

Nico knew it was getting late and his team was getting exausted. He was also sure he saw one of the beater almost drop their bat. Those those things had to weigh a bit when your exausted. Even if they pull this out their arse the win wouldn't be as good. He flagged the Referee and Lena. "Our teams look like their suffering. I'm cool with calling it even with it causes a loss for Ravenclaw." He said his hair also reflecting his exhaustion and worry for his team with it less vibrant green. Technically Hufflepuff won as they scored. But safety was more important that even the Quidditch Cup

Lena had figured they would probably have to call the match once the sun started to sink below the trees. It was impossible to play Quidditch in the dark, and besides that, she was exhausted, as was her team. She didn't want anyone fainting in the air and falling from their broom, or risking serious injury because they were tired and not paying attention. spaceAndi was the first person to arrive, which to be honest felt bizarre. She wasn't used to being early, even since she'd become captain. But, she wanted to make a good impression, in case she had a shot at being scouted. Besides, her team was a lot of younger players. Was always a good idea to be a good role model. She was still hoping some of them might find her inspirational or something, vain as that might be. She'd never claimed not to be vain, in any case. Squaring her shoulders, she stepped out onto the pitch, and began working on her stretches. At least she'd be plenty limbered up come the start of the match.

spaceKendall was pretty stoked for this season, to be honest. He was feeling really good about his practicing, and figured by now he'd built up enough experience that he should be able to perform well against an actual opponent. He did well enough in practices, but it was different playing against teammates in pickup games, after all. He had to admit, he'd improved a lot since this stopped being an outlet for his emotions, and started being something he just did for fun. Not that he didn't still use it as therapy, just a little. But reasons to need it to serve that purpose were a lot less frequent these days, much to his relief.
Chadwick walked into the quidditch field and grinned. He had done it. Something his siblings hadn’t done. Something even Wren didn’t do. He made it on the quidditch team in his first year. Plus, he had an excuse to throw things at people. This would be a grand time for him. He waved at his teammates, blew a kiss toward Sparrow, then began stretching.

Tally hurried out onto the pitch, annoyed with herself for not being the very first Gryffindor there. It was her first match as captain, her parents and sister were most likely watching, and she really didn't want to mess this up or worse, look lazy or unprepared. She nodded to Kendall, then began her stretches, relieved at least that she wasn't huffing and puffing from her sprint down to the pitch.
