Avery bit her lip and frowned as Shige fell off the beam. He usually knocked those out of the park. Though, she had used the walls a lot in this particular maze.
His score overall wouldn't be horrendous though, the schools computer system analyzed the maze as well as performance when coming up with the persons evaluation at the end.

Whit ducked under a beam and came to a dead end around the corner. He waited a second confused but turned to leave when nothing moved. Accidentally walking into the same beam. After which Avery did in fact open the door that had been there. He was sure she was giggling at him.
Though he'd learned his lesson. He'd remember to touch the walls when he needed to now.

Sighing, Michshige turned a corner and sensed something he hadn't sensed in a while - buttons. They usually didn't put buttons in the maze unless more than one person was using it at a time, or it was a serious exam. He then remember Whit was in there with him. So it's a race, eh? he thought. Michishige put some pep into his step as he found a latch to open a door, entering through. He could sense Whit wasn't too far off in one direction, and he could also sense that there was something huge to his left. Something... loud, yet muffled. After searching for a few moments to find a second latch, a door opened and there was a sound like thunder. Though he was sure it was only that loud because of his sensory. "Waterfalls are always nice," he commented as he walked through the door.

Avery saw Shige getting closer to the same hallway set Whit was in and dropped a ball in behind the waterfall just as he opened the panel door.

The water from the waterfall fell from the ceiling and down through wire mesh in the floor. If Shige went through he'd save a lot of time for himself.

Whit heard the water fall get louder and figured Shige must have opened a door between himself and it. He touched the wall with his foot as he went along and went down a ramp through another silent doorway. He could see the water fall, slightly blue in the strip lights.
Shige must be on the other side.

Whit continued forward and passed the hallway. Though, he didn't want to get caught so he tapped the walls frequently looking for the next door.

He nearly jumped out of his skin when his leg brushed up against an oddly shaped protruding wall that only covered half the hallway around shin level, and again when one of the objects he'd touched came out from the wall and thudded onto the floor behind him.

Aves was one master maze maker.

[ Well, the normal classes barely get any homework. Honors classes, however, are f-ing ridiculous ]

Jordan had long before decided to never let Avery anywhere near the darkness maze. Who knew what the girl could do. And then there was the high-level flight maze, which she'd only been in once. Just the thought...after all, the entire point of the maze was just like sensory: dodge tons of stuff. Except....more stuff, and more dodging. At least you weren't blindfolded in there though.

"Jeez Avery. But still, I wonder. Was that stuff there before, or do you just somehow manage to make these things awesome?"

"The entire Whit element I just came up with, and the waterfall was because of him too. she quirked her mouth thinking about it. The rest she'd probably seen in other mazes she figured.

He stopped and looked down then up towards the podium. Not that he could see it.

He shrugged and tapped the wall with his foot. He was lost.

Avery saw Whit was lost and made the floor lights flash again. Luckily they would only do it in his area, so even if Shige could sense them he wouldn't necessarily catch this trick.

Th lights were highlighting a trap door in the floor. It would allow whit to bypass a lot of the hallway Shige was about to pass through. Thus making them miss each other.

He pulled the ring on the floor and lifted up the door, which led to a dimly lit hallway just underneath his current one. He dropped down into it and the trap door shut above him shut and locked automatically.

Whit walked the short passageway to the end and waited. There was clearly a trap door above him but it seemed to be locked. Meaning he's wither have to wait or you know, be trapped forever.
