Avery looked up in curiosity. "Use Whit how?" she pushed the button to unlock the trap door so Whit could climb out. Though he literally would have to climb.

Whit looked up as the lock made an efficient clicking sound and retracted.
He jumped up and pulled himself out of the hole.
He knew he was fit enough, he took the occasional jog and swam almost every day mainly so he could see Aves in a bathing suit. But after this he thought he'd start lifting weights. Pulling himself up shouldn't make him want to take a break.
He cleared his feet and landed in a silent crouch. Standing slowly he looked around and controlled his breathing so he couldn't be heard.

He stood and looked around, to see a ladder carved into the wall. a small tag of light on each rung.

He climbed it, even though it meant touching the wall repeatedly.
But once he got to the top he could see the button. Glowing green in the dark, and that was enough to brighten his spirits.

"This really is amazing, Avery." Jordan turned to see there was still a large group of people gathered and watching.

Avery frowned as the wall sensors reported Whit's hand prints." Yeah, but I think I've actually helped Whit too much. He's probably going to beat Shige to the switch. ..." she paused.
Avery felt badly, she hadn't meant to put Shige at that much of a disadvantage. Shige even still had a ladder to climb.
Though...to buy him some time....

Avery quickly typed in a command and smiled as the cameras showed the light in the green button going out. Now it was up to Whit's luck and Shige's ability.

Whit paused in confusion as the light went out. Though where Avery was concerned this wasn't too surprising. She probably felt bad because Shige wasn't close enough to the button or something.
Though turning out the light was very Avery. Typical in fact. That girl was the master of the unintentional oblivious moment.

He was really hoping she would have little to no input on his trial. She either spawned confusion or ended up confusing herself, which although was hilarious for everyone else, usually made those around her -> a.k.a himself, pay the price. In dignity and whatever modesty he may have previously had.
And he wanted to work out to impress her?

Clearly she didn't realize she'd left him alone on top of a platform in the dark with no directional beacon.
Cause there certainly were no light strips up here.

Whit sighed and started to crawl.

Alex was doing his patrol duty and decided to head out to the Dome to make sure that there wasn't anything going on against the rules or that there weren't any students skipping off without a pass.

As Jordan was looking back through the crowd, she spotted Mr.Prefect. "Hey Spencer, you got a pass from Marsh, right? I see Alex over there. And what about you, Chris?"

Treya clenched her jaw at the mention of him saying that "really now?" she managed to say through her shut jaw although one couldn't really tell that her jaw was clenched but you could hear a slight tone of nervousness enter her voice as she spoke. somehow if this ended up turning into a bad visit treya had a feeling she wouldn't be going to this dentist ever again even if she had to run from the dentists themself.

Avery peered over her shoulder as Jordan warned Spencer and Chris. She waved them closer to the podium, as usually there was a good sized berth of space around it whenever a crowd formed. Usually out of respect to the button pusher, who in this case was herself.

It might actually be a little larger than usual because she was so basically unknown.

And apparently a mad maze maker....that part she'd overheard and was fairly pleased with. Though no one would have noticed as her private gloating spree was only occurring on the inside.

She couldn't let it distract her for too long though, the boys were getting closer to the button and once it was pushed Shige's exit from the maze would be timed. The longer he took, the more points he'd lose.

Whit rethought his direction when his hand slipped of the edge of the platform and nearly caused him to smash his face into the floor. Luckily his cat-burglar like reflexes managed to save him this time. But damn his Avery. Next time they were alone he'd put her in the dark and then she'd !!! Totally be fine because she had sensory powers and didn't need to use her eyes....TwT

Whit sighed in a depressed manner and turned away from the edge slowly. He must have passed the podium, so he'd have to go back the way he'd come.

Spencer spotted Alex walking over. "Yes I do. Good thing. I really don't want to be fed my own a** by the head of the prefects" Spencer whispered to Jordan. He made sure to have it in his hand.


"Yes. I do. I got a pass from the chem teacher since I don't need to rewrite the test" Christopher said and patted his chest over his shirt pocket, signifying where he was keeping it.


Alex walked over. "Do all of you have permission to be here?" he demanded.


After a few minutes, the girl walked out of the dental office. "Yeah, it tastes funny. A good rinse will help" Dr. Sullivan said to her as she exited. The dental assistant took the tools down to be sterilized as Dr. Sullivan called his next patient in.

A few minutes later, Treya would hear moans and groans coming from the dental office.

"Yeah," Jordan said. After all, she was actually supposed to be here. Though maybe not watching Avery. Well, she could always argue she was learning, or waiting for Avery to make a maze for her- oh gee, that'd be fun. Jordan didn't doubt there could be a waterfall or two in the flight maze.

Avery watched as Shige got closer to the podium, he was doing pretty well despite the Whit- touched objects dropping near him willy nilly.
He'd clearly figured them out by now, she just kept using them to hopefully clutter his senses. Even if he knew what they were didn't mean he could necessarily block them all out. Though if he did, all the better for his score.

Whit paused in his crawl as his sixth sense for protecting his face kicked in once again. He felt around with his hand in the pitch black and couldn't find anything within arms reach.
Shrugging and taking a moment to rub the feeling of this horrible stone of his hands, he continued along. Never knowing that slightly to the right of him had been the button podium.

Telemachus poked the thing again and was met by a hiss. He scratched his head and leaned forward to look. But all he could see inside the top hat placed upon his desk was darkness.

Ham and cheese...Cheese and ham...SALAMI! Karley jumped suddenly as the phone right next to her started ringing. She didn't drop any plates since her hands were empty, but the order dropped right from her head. "H-hawk's Nest. How may I be of service?"

Telemachus' voice came out in a whisper on the phone. "Karley, it's the hat. It's knows. It knows."

A pause.

"I'm sorry sir, could you please SPEAK UP!"

"Ah! Karley! If I don't make it out alive, tell Jordan she can have my cactus!" Amid sounds of screeching and loud thuds, the line went dead.

Avery watched as Shige climbed the ladder and decided to turn the light back on in the button. It was fair game now that they were both on the platform.
The green light slowly came into being amidst the darkness.

Whit stood the moment he saw the green glow, bright like the color of a glowstick. He sighed and jogged over to it, unfortunately tripping on his way there and falling right onto the button.

Luckily he was invisible so no one saw this. But the thing he'd tripped over had been Shige so he felt kind of bad.

"Bad luck man, sorry" he said helping the blindfolded boy to his feet as an alarm started going off repetitively, no doubt in order to 'encourage' Shige to leave the maze as quickly as possible.

Whit didn't understand why the swirling red and white lights were necessary when Shige was blindfolded but gladly used the bit of light they gave off to shove the boy in the direction of the exit ramp he could now clearly see. He hoped he made it down those last couple hallways in a good enough time.

In the meantime he let his invisibility drop and leant against the button podium, bowing at the waist slightly to his applause from the audience.
