I still don't know how all of those techniques work, as it's rather obvious pets can't perform ninjutsu or anything that needs handsigns.

Shinster: If that were so then why allow shinobi to purchase combat animals?
By your argument though, then the tamer class should not be allowed to work. Pets cannot transform themselves into a clone of their owner.
By that degree animals without hands from summoning should not be allowed to use jutsu either since they could not perform hand signs.

As for transforming and stuff... I dunno... because that technique is performed with a single handsign, and I think the tamer is actually the one who casts the technique onto the pet.
Ah... so, what character is it you wanted the pet with?

It's just a companion. If you're not gonna have a tamer ninja than you wouldn't have the ability to just tame or communicate with the said animal.

The technique is called Beast Human Clone, and it's something the tamer does to the pet.

Shinster: Please, that counts only as tracking, not as combat in a world of shinobi with chakra.
You're also forgetting about Ninken, they're dogs that have a decent amount of chakra and can use it.
Suzume already has a combat animal as a pet.
Edit: Yeah I did look up the technique but still...

Isn't it a type of jutsu where they can move under ground? Similar in a way to the Groundhog style Decapitation Jutsu?

[ Haruhi: } They're special summons of his own. So... they should actually have their own entry in the summoning section. ( Or that may be Shinobi Yochi. ) And, I don't believe they have any special techniques of their own. The one thing where they appear in the poof of smoke and bite their target, is simply Kakashi summoning them all at once.
