Nick watched as Lunar left the table towards her room. He then faced Goddess as she ate. He gave her a sweet smile and waited for her to finish.

Scanda turned to see the Chief "I sensed your pressence but what is it that you want"he said as he picked up another stone and made some dark energy go thorough it and saw as the stone turn darker and had black lightning go around it then skimmed it across the lake "If this is about the ball then Iam not going if you wanted to know"Scanda said as he continued to skim stones across the lake waiting for the Chief to reply.

Nick faced Goddess as she ate. "Hey excuse me but I need some air." He got up and walked out of the dinning table. He found himself alone in the field at the back of the mansion. Nick exhaled and looked up the black sky.

As every stone Scanda skidded a rock with dark enegry more dark clouds formed over them and lightning started to crackle "Seems like its thunder but no rain"he said to the Chief "Hope you brought and umbrella because you might get zapped"Scanda said aas he continued skimming stones with dark inside them and continued hearing thunder.

*COUGH, COUGH*

*hetukiri's coughs were getting more violent, she wondered should she get this checked out but then she dismissed the thought and said to her self she had survived worst in the past...* *cough, cough, COUGH* *her chest midly began to burn* *"i just need some water"* *she said to herself, so she went to her refrigerator in her room and poured her some water.*

"EWWWWW..." *she said a fly was in her water, she walked towards the room window and blindly tossed it out the window...*

*SPLASHHHHHHHH* *it landed directly on nick* eek "OMG IM SOOOO SORRY NICK I DIDNT SEE YOU THERE!!!!"  

[Chief Sankofa]

Walking over to the lake's edge, Chief stood about 6 paces on the right side away from him. "what makes you think I came out here for you, it just so happens I love this spot." she levitated two odd looking pebbles to her out stretched hand and toyed with them a bit. Using her fingers to slide the small pebbles in and out of her fingers till the rested on her palm, just as the first rain drops began to fall one landed on the pebble in her hand. "No need for an umbrella, if I am to be zapped it will happen whether i want it to or not. Destiny has a funny way of working it self out even when we try to stop it." she looked over to the rocks the was filled with dark energy, "has it ever accede to you to fill them with light and not darkness that it might some how change the out come of what you are doing," she than looked at her own pebbles, so small and rugged compared to his larger and more round rocks. In theory hers shouldn't even try to compete. But than the world was funny that way. She allowed some of her own energy to enter the pebbles, not to consume or over power them, but to simply flow through. With a flick of her wrist, she sent them both skimming lightly across.... both landed on the other side of the lake. She looked up to the sky with a satisfied smile on her face as the rain came down harder, making them both drenched in water in no time. "so any particular reason you are against coming to my ball, I spent an awfully long time preparing for it...."

Scanda saw as the Chief came 6 paces to his right "Me in a fancy suit you gotta be kiddin me"he said as he filled a stone with lots of dark energy so full that it almost exploded with darkness and skidded it across the lake and suddenly the rain came down harder and the thunder louder "I dont mind the rain it pleases me"Scanda said to the Chief as they became more drenched.

Chuckling a little to herself, "well its no more crazy to me than thinking of myself in a dress, I'm more of a pants kinda girl", sticking out her hands, she played with the fallen rain drops using light from the tips of her fingers.

*hetukiri sooooooooooo embaressed about what had just happened she threw on a coat, picked up a dry towel and jumped down through the window as a attempt to try to dry off the water she poured on him*


*just then it rain poured down heavely and they both were soaked in a few mins* *"so much for making amends -_-"* *hetukiri said to her self as she started towards the door of the castle feeling some what down...*

*COUGH, COUGH*

Nick looked up and thought it was going to rain when a splash of water hit his face. He stayed motionless for a while. "This.. isn't.. rain.." he said as he spit out some of the water. A few seconds later he saw hetukiri started wiping him all over. He smiled at her and held her hand. "Hey its okay, you can stop now.." Nick took the towel and escorted hetukiri back to the mansion but the rain started to pour so both of them end up soaked.

*Goddess was still eating when Nick left. She knew that he was worring out of love, so she didn't mind. She was happy knowing that he was happy. She excused herself from the table after she finished eating. She went up to her room and read the invite to the Ball* "Great. Now I need a good dress. That's fine with me. I'll just use a little magic," *she said, truning to the wardrobe* "and pick one from the bunch. Easy." *She muttered the spell and opened the wardrobe. It was packed with all kinds of clothes. Goddess sighed and dove in to find the right dress*

Dark watched as Chief left the hall, along with Goddess, Nick and Lunar. "ummm....a dance," that was the last thing he thought she'd come to announce but this would give him an excuse to get close to her. If she is attending than she'll need a date as well. "so Lady Aya is it right of me to assume you will be attending with Wei at the Ball?"

Lunar woke up. She sat up and looked outside the window.
"Hmm, its raining." She thought. She read the invatation about the Ball. ...
"I might go..." Lunar said to herself.

Lady Aya was already reading the 50th page of the thick book when Lunar decided to turn in for the night. "Goodnight, Lunar! And thank you for this lovely gift. I'll see you at the ball, I hope," she said, the last part concerning Chief's earlier announcement.

Wei smiled in understanding at Dark. Women are such wilely creatures, pleasing to look at but unpredictable. "The ball is no problem for you, is it, my lady?" he asked his charge rhetorically. "You only wear dresses after all." He looked toward the leaving boy. Nick should fear not Lady Aya. She only feeds on blood from one person and only one person.

Aya, hearing Wei's thoughts, smiled seductively. 'I only drink from you, Wei. No one else's blood can compare.' she said through their link. "Of course, Dark. I would have no other but him. Besides, it is better to be with him than try going out with other people. He'll only watch me like a hawk, his overprotective presence only scares my other partners away. Might as well ease his nerves, right Wei?" she smiled coyly.

"But I wonder, I woulld love to help Luanr dress up for the ball. Sort of like a little sister to doll up." Aya sighed. She misses her brother dearly. Shrugging her loneliness away, she proceeded to eat her meal as she reads, taking a sip of blood at intervals. If she had a choice...but this blood would have to do.
