 Besides the obvious feline connections, Synder is as loyal to her family as Anji is in protecting Allana and despite both the hostile reputation of a Nexu and the unstable reputation of Synder's mother both characters prove to be more then the stereotypes they are expected to be. Like Anji, Synder will be a protector for her herd, loyal and fierce. Despite this fighters spirit however both manage to retain a playfulness that can only be attributed to felines...fighters when they need to be but playful a second later. Although I had a hard time fitting Synder to a character at first once I recalled Anji it was more then obvious.

 Synder is a conundrum of a mare, she can be as surly as her father..or as sweet as a kitten in the span of a couple heartbeats, her moods seem to be as fickle and ever changing as the winds and its not always apparent what sets them off. Despite these mood swings however Synder can never be called disloyal...to her family - even if she mad at them or jealous of them - she is a protector. Willing to fight and die to keep any one of them safe she is a crude and vicious fighter, making up for her small size with speed and a willingness to fight dirty when the need calls for it. She is witty and intelligent and its often remarked that if one could stem the tide of her mood swings she would be quite the catch indeed.
On the other side of her fighting and protective nature there are clues to a gentler side beneath the surface, she adores foals and with them seems to have an endless patience, playing their silly and seemingly pointless games for hours on end without complaint or apparent distaste. In fact..if she could...Synder would likely spend all her time playing with foals and no one is more delighted then she is to hear of some on the way.  As Synder is still a foal and very little has happened to her yet. As a basket however her father stole her away from an unstable mother along with her brother Symric, bringing them to the Little Meadow Herd to be raised in safety.
