 If there ever was an example of a dog trapped in a Soquili's body then Cassava would be just that. He is loyal, fiercely protective of his master, playful at times and loves nothing more than to play fetch or bury his bones. Though he is not the smartest Soquili out there Cassava does learn quickly enough, be it from example or by others telling him what to do. Beyond this Cassava is also an instrument of his master Pirata's needs and wants, if she wishes for him to do something, no matter what it is, he will do it because in the end he wants to please his master.

 Cassava's life was out of his control from the moment he had been placed in his basket. His father had taken him away from his mother, claiming he would raise the foal, when really he just wanted to abandon it in the woods to die. As luck would have it, Mornhavon did not do that, instead he dragged the basket for days on end until reaching a mountain controlled by Pirata Noctis. Cassava was offered to the mare in exchange for his fathers safe passage through her lands. The mare, amused by the offer, accepted and allowed Mornhavon to cross and accepted the basket, which she was told to do whatever she wished with it. Though the basket was intended to feed her spiders for their next meal the foal forced Pirata to change those plans when he emerged early. Though slightly disappointed by this Pirata quickly saw new potential in the foal with his odd appearance. She named him Cassava Noctis, effectively claiming him as her property and saw that he was provided for with whatever he needed to survive.
Accepting his new name and master without question Cassava quickly fell into the role of loyal pet to Pirata. She gave him a home, name, and to his excitement all the bones he could ever want to chew on. But he is not just her pet, in fact Pirata is currently training him to become a pet for her own foal. Cassava will do whatever she wishes, even if it is to become another Soquili's pet, for as long as Pirata is pleased with him Cassava is happy.

 Bones! - He is obsessed with bones, always looking to add another one to his growing collection. He needs to come across a Soquili adorned with bones and try to either steal one of theirs or convince them to give him one.
For My Master - Ever wanting to please his master Cassava will venture out from his mountain home in search of a Soquili or even a familiar that he can bring back to his master, this individual will of course become a slave if he manages this task, or they can elude him due to his small size and need to fetch things.
A Few More of Me - At some point, whether commanded by Pirata or through his own choices, Cassava will need to produce children. However not just any mare will do. He knows now that it was his odd looks that saved him from becoming a meal for Pirata's spiders and so he will need to find a mare with similar oddities (mutations) to help bring the next generations of loyal subjects to Pirata's hooves.
