I just play what interests me and what is available for me to buy.
I've got a lot of Harvest Moon games, I've started on the Phoenix Wright games by buying one. I've got the first and second Y's for the DS, I've got Grandia... three I think. Rogue Galaxy, stuff like that.
Bah, someone get this creepy old fool off the stage and trash that Sims game while they're at it.
Dark Souls? *reads wiki* Wait, tension and fear? Didn't they get that from Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube that came out years ago?
Kazz: Bleh, regular sports doesn't seem that great. I mean, I used to play Tony Hawks games but I grew out of that phase years ago.
What're you gonna buy?
Mana: Ehhh, that's what they said about Fable 3 though and it was just as big as Fable 2, not more.
Oh come on, the ending to Fable 2 was not that bad. Everyone was is just so used to fighting big bosses at the end that they had a bad reaction to Fable 2's ending.
I mean, if they did that in a really good book I bet you wouldn't dislike it.
Well yeah, Fable 3 was a sort of Fable 2 clone, just a different story. Although I did like the evil behind it, really creepy.
Ooookay, I have no idea what you were talking about with the Spartan 3 thing.
Eh, true but gimmicks have always been what has sold on video games. Anyone remember the Nintendo Powerglove or the Orange guns?
Either way, I'd like to think games will evolve beyond controllers, like in the anime/manga and stuff, you know?

Dark Souls isn't my thing. Thats the Demon Souls sequel, right?
I'll probably get Asura's Wrath though. Just because it looks beastly.

Wrong game series there, 'Ruhi. Dark Souls is the spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, which was a spiritual successor to some game that never got out of Japan.
Honestly, I was more pissed about Reaver killing him before he could finish talking. I was genuinely interested in his preaching. Sure, I'm not fond that there were only two bosses in the game.
I can't say I would. A book with no climax is just... something that's missing something. You'd have to be a phenomenal writer to pull that off.
The darkness behind it was pretty cool.
Well, Ruhi. You said you played up to Halo 3, no? Well, the Chief is a Spartan mk II. Meant for heavy front lines work, and were the last creation of Doctor Halsey. In one book, they introduced Spartan mk III. Less armored for black ops missions. They were only in one book, and it wasn't the Fall of Reach.
I've never really been fond of gimmicks. A good ol' controller is all I need.

Well that's what I'm saying. If it was put into a good book you couldn't say you would hate it. I meant, set it up...
The guy has absolute power and believes you have no way to stop him. Then, you pull out the item that will stop him. Weak and defenseless without the power he has borrowed from the structure, looking down the barrel of your gun, he speaks to you, begging for you to spare him... you fire.
Ugh, it creeped me out, I don't like darkness anyway and for that freaky thing to come along...
Yeah I played Halo 3 and I waited through all the credits and everything. I knew what a Spartan was but I didn't hear anyone say he was a special brand that could go on the front lines.
Maybe but there is a lot of people that love gimmicks. And don't say it wouldn't be cool to just plop down in a chair, hook up into a game and be right in it. Kinda like .Hack// I'd say.

Well, there's only Spartan II and Spartan III. Ha ha. There were roughly sixty Spartan IIs, all but like... Six died at Reach. Two more died training Spartan IIIs. One's living with the IIIs, and then three were in cryostasis on the Pillar of Autumn, Chief being the only one who got out.
I wouldn't call VR a gimmick. Not like using a wiimote or "yourself" as a controller.

Actually, Spartan Is weren't called Spartan Is. The code name was redubbed after how horribly the first experiments went. According to Doctor Halsey's journal, none survive. Johnson was just that bad a**.
