((my whole world is crashing down on me today gonk no matter how manly I try to be all my delusions were cut down in one fell swoop earlier... all it took was one "do you want a bag with that ma'am?" to make me realise maybe it's time for a haircut... and stop shaving for a week... no, then I'd just look homeless... this sucks *laughing instead of crying*))

{{A female friend of mine has been mistaken for a guy on more than one occasion, and I can tell you right now... she is far from "masculine" looking. I think those that confused her were likely just getting a glance at her clothes and not so much everything else. Also, the person working at whatever place you were at that said "ma'am" could just be socially awkward or new and just said the wrong word by mistake and it actually had nothing to do with how you look.}}
