I'll talk to my doctor, and my mom and see about the ring or the patch, though. Thank you! It is, though I would go with the ring, patch or pill because of the side effects of the shot. Which are depression, weight gain, and a lot more. The significant loss in bone density is what really worries me about Depo, and the fact that the FDA does not recommend it for teens or young women, or to be used for periods longer than 2 years unless you have no other BC options...
In general, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they have thoroughly done their research and are prepared to take extra supplements to counteract the damage that it's doing. Nuvaring is a much better option IMO.
