A small man walked into the head mistresses office. He had with him a small satchel with an old dusty book tied to it with what appeared to be an assortment of brightly coloured strings.


He looked around the room noticing that it was mostly in order and thought to himself that perhaps he would be wasting his time to search for a job here in the case that it seemed that they had everything under control at the moment. Even though his thoughts kept bouncing through his head as marbles, he decided to push his anxiety behind him for the moment and continue. As he stepped forward the only thought that seemed to cross his mind was the word persistence again and again.

He stepped forward twice, and perhaps accidentally left the question unanswered for far longer than reasonable. Then as if jogged back into reality he coughed and looked up at the woman speaking to him and said "Yes ma'am, I was wondering if you could use a 4 year historian major at all." He would cough periodically while talking, but it never seemed to interrupt the flow of his speech.

He seemed quite relieved even excited perhaps. "If you could that would be most helpful." he began to say, but was cutoff at the end by a single violent cough.

"Oh I am fine, it's just a slight cold." He assured her with a smile. "thank you very much."

"Well then if that is all, it is rather late and I would like a chance to look around the institute a bit before I start. Would you happen to know of anyone that knows this place quite well and would be free this late?" he asked inquisitively

"The forest, that seems like a strange place to be walking around alone. anyway I suppose I shall head out, feel free to give me a shout if you need anything." He said with a smile

Meric walked into the office and wrote down his classes,"Elemant control, History, Strategy, and musicl" he wondered what to do now and headed to the classrooms.
