"A ninja who has no ability with ninjutsu became a Sannin known for her abilities to heal rather then harm" Kohane told her as she slowly sat down. "The reason the Hokage placed you in such a place was likely to help you become a better ninja by putting you with a group who could help you attain that. Strength and control come's simply with time and practice it's not something that comes naturally for most." Looking up at the girl Kohane's gaze drifted over to the combatants in the training area.

"I know I won't get a jutsu immediately. I've been working with my father's jutsu for two years, but I haven't trained as hard before than I have after my parents' death in the Village among the Rocks." Tsumi said, looking up to Kohane, "Usually the Hokage puts ninja in teams with their classmates from the academy, right? I don't get why I'm so special as to get in this team. I'm just another ninja. I'm not aiming to become Hokage or Sannin-though it'd be cool to become either one. I'm aiming to make Haha and Chichi proud in the afterlife. If I get to kill my parents' murderer, that'd just be a plus, but frankly, it's not my true aim."

After a few days of traveling, Nowe hadn't tought the girl anything really. They just trained together and improved her skills. Now, at the moment, He was taking a nap in a tree branch.

Suki found Nowe in a tree, sleeping. "Hey! Lazy bum, wake up! We got more training to do." She said.

Nowe opened one eye, gazing down at the girl. He yawned, stretching his arms. "There's nothing lazy about wanting to take a nap." He said, scratching the back of his head.

Sighing slightly Kohane kept her head down as she looked ahead towards the duels going on. "You are not the only fresh from the academy child in that team" Kohane said remembering the team pairings that were given by the Hokage. "Another was the young lad that dueled with Kiri a few days ago" she said shaking her head. "Don't try to look into the hokage's decision's to deeply they had a good reason for this pairing and I think it would be approved by the both Zane and Kiri" Kohane told her with a small smile. "Tell me then if revenge for your parent's death is not your aim then what is" Kohane questioned hearing the last bit of the girl's words.

"Oh, that's right. It completely flew over my head." Tsumi said about the pairing, looking off. Then, she looked at Kohane again and said, "I just said that making them proud in death is my aim. That's enough for me if I cannot avenge their death."

"Then see this as a good opportunity to learn a good deal in a short amount of time" Kohane told her slowly getting to her feet. Doing a quick handsign Kohane put her hands on the ground a summoning circle appearing around her. "Slug summoning" she muttered as a fair sized slug appeared from the circle. "Chiya can you split into a few for me and keep close to the ninja training in the fields. When there duels and sparring sessions are over please go and pass some chakra over them to heal there wounds" Kohane told the slug who gave a nod before doing as it was asked going off to observe the combatants. "I am sure that your parent's are proud if they look at you as you are now" Kohane said suddenly to Tsumi as she stood up straight.

Nowe rolled his eye's and got up, jumping down from his tree. "Alright....start us off." He said as he got into a fighting stance, awaiting her first attack.

"Are you finally going to teach me something new?" Suki asked as grabbed her spear and ran at Nowe, swinging it at him while she charged it.

Tsumi watched the slug go off and split. 'I wish I could do a summoning jutsu...' she thought, a flicker of jealousy going throgh her eyes. The jealousy disappeared when she looked back at Kohane. "Can't hurt to make them more proud, especially if I finally master Chichi's jutsu." she said, "I know there's a slim chance to finding my parents' murderer, so I have to aim a bit lower or I'll be consumed with hatred and anger. I don't wanna live like that." Rai looked at the slug and stared at it, jealousy fluffing her fur a bit. She wanted to be able to help like the slug, but she was just a normal cat.

Nowe dodged around the spear, moving himself behind her, but not attacking. "How do you know I'm not already teaching you something new? Maybe the whole lesson is eluding you." He said with a light smile.

Suddenly lightning charged needles began to rain down on the two ninja. "Seems like you have a traveling companion now." Ayame said coldly as he floated in the air with his metal wings.
