Matsu sighed and crossed his arms as he looked at the scroll he had been given. Ryoichi was right but he had given his word to the Yukikage's adviser. Matsu put the scroll away in his bag and turned to Ryoichi. "Alright, let's get out of here. I was supposed to meet Rikuto anyway." Matsu put his hands together and activated his Byakugan. "Let me find her." Matsu smiled as he extended his vision to the outside and into the village. After a few moments, Matsu looked confused. "She's not in the village." Matsu looked at Ryoichi. "Rikuto said she would be training her Genin at the Prison. I see her Genin but not her." Matsu deactivated his Byakugan and his gaze spread far in thought. "Let's see what's going on." Matsu said, heading for the door.

"Weaver of the Night Sky" ☽ Izaya ☾ ☽ Toryo ☾ §[Genin]♥[Yukigakure]♥[Sakkakugan ~Inactive~]§ ❝Izaya stepped into the academy with neither interest nor disinterest in his eyes. He was as neutral as always, even at the sight of his new training facility. 'The first thing I need to learn are some Genjutsu abilities. Hmph... Child's play...' He took a small scroll from the many he saw upon entry, opening it up and peering at the words written. The first move he saw on there was Magen: Jigoku Gouka no Jutsu. Looked simple enough, so he decided to just begin and get it over with. He stood his ground and formed the needed handsigns, muttering, "Magen: Jigoku Gouka no Jutsu". He watched as a large pillar of flames burst forth from out of nowhere, heading towards him since he decided to test it on himself. He quickly dispelled it and blew out a breath of relief.
The next technique he saw on the scroll was Etainoshirenai no Oto, a Genjutsu that made its target believe that they are hearing the sounds of animals when there truly aren't any around. Izaya wondered whether or not he should even bother with something so simple, but then he shrugged and moved along, deciding that he might as well. He positioned himself properly and thought of the effect that he wanted. He began to build chakra in his lungs and let loose with a simple howl. He surprised himself when he did this, and tried again. This time a lion's roar came from his mouth, and he grinned, taking that as a mark of success on his part. He only wished that there was someone around that he could test it on, then maybe he could have more fun, but alas, it was not about to happen any time soon, so he moved on.
Procuring the scroll again, he looked down the long list of techniques that he could learn. The possibilities were endless, but he didn't want to overdo it so soon, lest he collapse from fatigue in the longrun. Shihouhapou, a technique that warps the target's sense of hearing, causing them to believe that sounds are coming from every direction. Basic, but effective in the sense that it could work to one's advantage if used correctly in the right situation. He formed the necessary handseals, looking out at nothing before he spoke. "Hello?" The single word he spoke sounded like myriad feminine voices saying the same thing from all directions. He had to look around himself quickly, wondering if he really was surrounded. There was no one there, which meant in non too definite terms that his Genjutsu was a success. He didn't bother to test it again, for he thought there would be no point in it, so he continued.
Finally growing bored of the E Rank Genjutsu that riddled the scroll in hand, he procured yet another one that he had borrowed, looking through the list of techniques and seeing that it was filled with all sorts of D Rank techniques and at least five C Ranked ones. He decided that he would learn all that he could from this one for now, until he was sure he was ready to take on the more challenging ones. The first move he decided to try was Pesuto, a technique that made it appear to the target(s) that an army of rodents were heading their way, pouncing on them and eating them alive. Izaya found that this one seemed rather interesting, and so without further delay, he set abut his task. He formed the handsigns and mouthed, "Pesuto". He watched and waited for no more than a second before he heard the scurry of tiny footsteps on the ground, racing toward him. They got louder and louder as they came, and he started to panic some. They were not bugs per se, but they were close enough to the nasty little creatures, and Izaya was afraid of them, really afraid. He wanted to dispel the Genjutsu, but his mind was being stubborn, and the rats used this opportunity to prance on him from all over and began chewing into his skin. He screamed loudly and shook several of them off. But as he did so, more came. He didn't hesitate now, and dispelled the Genjutsu before he could get bitten again. He checked his skin to see if a wound had been open, but there was not even so much as a blemish on his perfect skin. The Genjutsu felt so real though, that he was till a bit shaken up by it all. He opened the scroll with jittering fingers and looked up the next technique for learning.
The next one was called Magen: Kokuni Arazu no Jutsu, which allowed the user to create a false surrounding that themself and their target(s) will have no choice but to be in. This technique would most definitely give him the upper hand in a fight, especially with his control over his chakra and his imagination. That was all it took really for him to be able to use this technique. He got down to it. He formed the needed handsigns and started to visualize how he wanted his surroundings to look. The interior of the academy reversed, causing the floor and the ceiling to switch places, all the benches and desks, everything that was on the ground was now on the ceiling, or was it still the floor, and the ceiling was now where the floor should have been, or was it the new floor now? It was all so confusing, but he got up and decided to test his new scenery. He as walking along the now clear floor when he bumped into something that was not there. The Genjutsu faded as he lost focus and he could see now that nothing had really changed. It was only the effects of the Genjutsu working on his mind that made it seem that everything was reversed. 'Maybe I should try that again?' but he shook his head and opened the scroll again to select something else to learn.
Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu, a Genjutsu that showed the target a vision of something truly horrifying. He formed the needed handseals and watched as the world started to distort around him. Earthquakes shook the ground below, and lightning split the sky above, tearing through the roof of the academy and landing just before him. He wriggled away in fear, just as the roof was torn off by a large flaming demon with fangs, horns and the ugliest fingernails ever seen. He hurriedly dispelled the Genjutsu and breathed heavily, clutching his chest where his heart was beating far too rapidly. He didn't dwell on his fright however and continued. Anyone who was present in the academy would believe that he was going crazy.
Mimiuchi no Jutsu. It allowed the user to make a sound or a word that the target will hear as a whisper, believing that it came from right next to them. Since he had no one to practice with, Izaya decided that he'd just stick to testing it on himself. He closed his eyes and concentrated. He let out a soft trail of breath out of his mouth, and the effect proved to be working as he could hear it clearly in his mind, as if someone were right next to him, breathing in his ear. 'That was fairly simple'. He moved on.
The next move he wanted to attempt was a C Rank technique called Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu, not much different from what he had learned before, but it was a safety mechanism that would prove useful should his first technique be released. He formed the necessary handsigns and created the False Surroundings Technique, then he cast the Double false surroundings technique immediately after. He didn't go for anything complex. He simply made the entire surroundings pitch black. "Kai!" The surroundings remained the same despite him exerting chakra to release it. He did it again, an this time it worked. He had successfully learned the technique.
The final Genjutsu technique he decided to learn was called Sakashima, a simple move that would allow him to reverse a Genjutsu back at the user. He was not too sure how to go about learning this, but he tried nonetheless. He used the Pesuto technique and watched as the rats came again from directly in front of him. "Sakashima". He watched as the rats faded from before him and wondered where they went. He heard the scurrying of their footsteps coming from behind him this time, and he quickly dispelled the Genjutsu. So it had worked, but only changed the rats' direction because he used it on himself. That was all he could learn for now in Genjutsu, so he replaced the two scrolls and sat down for a while to rest. ❞ ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Chakra: 180/245 -1 Academy Learn genjutsu one [1] post faster All Sakkakugan owners learn genjutsu [1] post faster Chakra Training: Performance Complete +20 Chakra

"Weaver of the Night Sky" ☽ Izaya ☾ ☽ Toryo ☾ §[Genin]♥[Yukigakure]♥[Sakkakugan ~Inactive~]§ ❝Ready for his second round of training, Izaya stood up after his short reprieve and stretched. The small boy just really wanted it all to be over so he could find something else to do, but patience had to be practised if one wanted to be a ninja. Though no one ever said he had to like it. He looked for a scroll that contained Suiton Ninjutsu that he could learn, and when he found it and opened it, several of the techniques caught his eye. He knew he would not be able to learn them all, but he could dream. The very first on the paper was Suiben, which allowed him to create a whip out of surrounding water as a means of attack or constriction. He walked over to the puddle of water that had been conveniently set up in the academy and began to reform it. The whip began to form, but before it grew too much, it fell back into the puddle as if nothing had been done to begin with. 'This is much harder than learning Genjutsu...' [1/2 ~ Suiben]
He made yet another attempt, still determined to learn the technique and not let it get the better of him. He molded his chakra perfectly, sending it towards the water in an attempt to manipulate it. The whip started to form again, though it dithered violently. He held it however, and caused it to grow to just about his height. He went further to let it wrap around his hand gently so it couldn't cut off the flow of blood to and from his hand. It worked. He had done it. He had learned the Suiben technique. [2/2 ~ Suiben Complete]
After he had done that, he wanted to learn the Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu, an updated version of his already mastered Bunshin no Jutsu. It would allow the user to create a perfect clone of themself entire out of water. Even better, the clone could use one technique the user knew once per battle, as long as it was a Suiton technique. It would prove quite helpful in a fight. All he had to do was learn it. Sounded easy enough. [1/4 ~ Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu]
He stood over the puddle of water and looked into it with eyes that he hoped would scare the water into doing what he wanted of it. If only it could work in such a manner, he would've known all sorts of techniques that he never even dreamed of. The water didn't so much as move, or even give a slight ripple, as if mocking all of Izaya's efforts. He sighed deeply, preparing himself for the task he knew he had to complete. He formed the handsigns that were necessary for the technique. "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu" He watched as the water started to rise, much faster than it had for the Suiben technique. He started to grin, thinking that he had done it. Then the water fell back into the puddle with a splash, shattering his smile without remorse. [2/4 ~ Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu]
Some of the water had splashed on his too large kimono, but that was hardly a part of his concerns at the moment. He couldn't help but compare the way he was doing now to how easily he had learned all his Genjutsu. The Ninjutsu was indeed more difficult to perform, but he still refused to give up. He formed the handsigns again. "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!" He shouted the words as if that would make it any easier. It helped some, as the water rose again, this time forming into a complete human figure before it fell back into the puddle. He was getting close, he knew that for a fact. [3/4 ~ Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu]
He reformed the handsigns, mouthing the words once more. This time the perfect figure of himself formed, and he smiled. The clone mimicked all his movements as he wanted it to, and as he walked, it walked. He mentally ordered the clone to move away from him, and so it did. He released the Ninjutsu and the clone turned back into water and fell to the ground, causing a splash that reached Izaya's clothes. He couldn't bring himself to care however. [4/4 ~ Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu Complete]
Next he decided on the Mizutamari no Jutsu after interrogating the scroll. This technique didn't seem like much, but paired with his Genjutsu, it could make for a great combination. He replaced the scroll and stood within the puddle of water, ignoring the fact that he was getting wet. He figured if he's going to be learning Suiton techniques, he had to get wet one way or another, at least until he had mastered them enough to not have to continuously suffer the wetness. He didn't believe the move needed any handsigns from the description he had gotten of it, and so he began to form his ivory coloured chakra around himself, attempting to cause his form to dissolve in the water below. [1/4 ~ Mizutamari no Jutsu]
He was getting nowhere fast, as he had been standing there for some time looking like a moron without any real effect. Nothing was happening, and he could feel no form of change taking place. He wanted to just quit and move along, but where would that get him? He would just find himself quitting when the going got rough, and he didn't want that, so he endured the torturous wait. [2/4 ~ Mizutamari no Jutsu]
Finally, after all the time that passed, something was starting to happen. He could feel his form beginning to change. His feet and the clothes that covered it began to dissolve, becoming one with the water below. He looked down, trying his very best not to panic as he got shorter, even more so than he already was. He couldn't feel anything below his waist, as that was how far he had gone own into the water. What he was feeling, or wasn't feeling, was very strange. He never expected that it would feel this way, never in all his time. It was the strangest feeling ever, not being able to feel the lower half of your body. It was almost as if that part of himself didn't even exist. He was still going lower and lower, deeper and deeper into the puddle. [3/4 ~ Mizutamari no Jutsu]
He had finally done it. He was no longer able to be seen from the surface or even below the water. It was like he just disappeared altogether. He had truly become one with the water, and for some reason, he did not feel as if he were drowning. He couldn't even be sure if he was breathing or not. He finally worked with his chakra again to reform his body into its full height and stepped out of the puddle, eyeing himself carefully to see if he had forgotten anything. Everything was as it should be, and he had already learned his third Suiton Ninjutsu. Things were starting to look up for him after all, and he rested in preparation for his next round of training. "Weaver of the Night Sky" ☽ Izaya ☾ ☽ Toryo ☾ §[Genin]♥[Yukigakure]♥[Sakkakugan ~Inactive~]§ ❝After learning the Suiton techniques that he could, Izaya decided that he as ready to learn all the Fuuton Ninjutsu and Maruton Jutsu he could before he finally went about taking on missions to complete. He went for one of the scrolls from the many he saw and looked at the list of Fuuton techniques, deciding that he would learn only one for now and learn the rest later on. The single Fuuton technique that caught his eye at the moment was Kaze no Bouseki Tate, a wind shield technique that would not only keep him safe, but deflect projectiles and Ninjutsu C Ranked or below back at the user. This was definitely something that he wanted to learn, and so he got down to it, forming the necessary handsigns to gather the wind around himself to form a kind of spherical shield. [1/4 ~ Kaze no Bouseki Tate]
He concentrated deeply, more than he had to with any of the Genjutsu. It had become clear to him now that he hated learning Ninjutsu, and wished he could just stick to Genjutsu, but that wouldn't be too effective, and it may even prove disadvantageous in the long run if it ever came down to a fight where his Genjutsu failed him. So he continued focus, feeling as his chakra melded with the wind around him and caused it to circle and spin around his small body violently. The wind was so strong that it threatened to lift him off the ground itself and send him flying, but he focused even harder to use his chakra to keep his feet planted firmly to the ground so he would not be sent flying. [2/4 ~ Kaze no Bouseki Tate]
His kimono whipped about him, flailing in every which direction as the wind picked up even more speed, sending dust and some of the plants within the academy flying about him. It wasn't his fault that the plants were ruined, but at least he was learning his techniques without too much of a hassle. Well, almost too much of a hassle. He was still finding it very difficult to keep the wind in line and not going in any random direction to knock something over. He sent all his will into it and could feel himself getting angry all of a sudden. He couldn't stop it, for the frustration was too strong, and the strain weakened the barrier he had fortified around his mind to keep said emotions in check. He found now that he didn't want to stop the wind. He wanted it to do as much harm and wreak as much havoc as possible, if only for his amusement. His grin became distorted, not belonging to the young boy who had been standing there only seconds ago. This smile was too full of malevolence to be his. [3/4 ~ Kaze no Bouseki Tate]
Fighting for control again, Izaya had a mental battle with the part of him that wanted the destruction, asserting his control over it and forcing it back down into its dark, lonely cell where it could do no harm. He finally got the wind to form into a perfect circle around him, while spinning rapidly, enough to be able to knock away any projectile or most attacks that tried to penetrate it. He released the Jutsu and parted with a heavy sigh, breathing heavily as he sat down to rest for a bit, recuperating slowly from what had just taken place inside him. [4/4 ~ Kaze no Bouseki Tate Complete]
After he was finished recovering, he decided that there were two more Maruton techniques that he wanted to learn, and so he sought out the scroll and opened it, peering inside at the long list until his eyes came across two that he was sure that he wanted in his arsenal. The first was a C Ranked technique known as Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu, an even better version of the Bunshin no Jutsu that allowed him to create a clone of himself made entirely of crows. This could work wonders in aiding his power over Genjutsu if used right, so he got down to it. He formed the necessary handsigns and mouthed the phrase. "Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu" The clone started to form before him as a murder of crows that seemed to materialize from out of nowhere began to form as one. Once that was done, he saw himself staring back at him. He grinned. [1/5 ~ Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu]
He speculated the clone before anything else was done, testing to see just how solid it really was, or if a crow's face would just pop up out of nowhere if the clone were touched. He poked, he glared, he even punched the clone, though his physical strength was dramatically lacking, and so the fist wasn't nearly powerful enough to disperse the Jutsu. It took the blow with relative ease, and still persisted. Finally satisfied with the outcome of it all, Izaya tested to see how well the clone could speak. He spoke well, just as Izaya did, and his voice was every bit as girly and high-pitched as Izaya's. [2/5 ~ Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu]
He ordered the clone to fight him head on in a one on one battle to test it. He made the first move by charging at it clumsily, which proved even further just how lacking his Taijutsu skills were. He aimed a fist after the clone and it dodged, mimicking the action. Izaya dodged it and sent a kick wheeling around to the clones midsection, but it jumped away and landed gracefully despite the large kimono it wore. At least it could keep up, even slightly. [3/5 ~ Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu]
He thought about something for a moment, wondering if maybe he could use the crows that formed the clone to his advantage. The only way to know would be to test it, and that he did. He gave a mental order for the clone to disperse and it did so, becoming a countless number of crows that flew in the air all around the academy. When the clone spoke, it came out as one single voice, echoing all around. It was truly magnificent, and it would prove very useful in battles to come. [4/5 ~ Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu]
He wanted to see now if all the crows could attack individually or at best, cause confusion. He used himself as a dummy for target practice, allowing the crows to swarm him, knocking themselves against him in great numbers, threatening to send him to his knees, or to peck at his skin. He gave the order to stop before he dispelled the Jutsu, causing the crows to vanish as if they had never been there to begin with. There he had it. He had finished learning that technique, and he was pretty sure it would prove useful later on. [5/5 ~ Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu Complete]
The final move he decided to learn was known as Bikou Ninjutsu, which would allow him to become a master of stealth. He would most likely be able to carry out missions that required stealth and precision if he learned this, and that's exactly what he planned to do. He created a basic clone of himself, giving it specific orders to only react if it he was there. And so they both went outside and the clone began its trek away from the academy. [1/2 ~ Bikou Ninjutsu]
Izaya stalked the clone to perfection, not a sound made, nothing to give away the fact that he was close by. The clone never turned around, so it was clear to Izaya that he was doing perfectly. Once he decided that he had had enough, he released the clone and went back to the academy where he sat down and rested for a while, giving his chakra some time to rebuild after the long day of training. "Weaver of the Night Sky" ☽ Izaya ☾ ☽ Toryo ☾ §[Genin]♥[Yukigakure]♥[Sakkakugan ~Active~]§ ❝The small boy now daintily sat on the ground with his legs crossed and eyes closed. He was now ready to do what he had been neglecting all day. Izaya was ready to learn some of his bloodline techniques, even though he knew it would cause him unimaginable stress, and whenever he used his Dojutsu, that was when the darkness within himself got stringer, making it easier for it to take hold of his consciousness. His eyes opened, revealing the deep, crimson hue that glowed nefariously, as if it was evil itself. He knew all the abilities he could learn, because he had studied some of the scrolls that explained his Sakkakugan in detail. It told of how it had come about and how only a select few have ever gotten the ability. It frightened him, and worst of all, people dared to envy him for it, not knowing exactly what having the Sakkakugan entailed. He had to endure mental stress every day of his life, fight back some strange demon within himself that he didn't know if he could keep at bay much longer. It grew much more powerful by the day, but he figured that it was a risk he had to take. [1/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
He used the False Surroundings Technique to make everything around him appear to be completely dark, to the point where he couldn't even see his own hands in front of him. He then deactivated his Sakkakugan and used Kai, and to his dismay, the Genjutsu vanished just like that. He thought about it for a moment, then decided that he would try again. [2/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
Those eerie crimson eyes glowed again, and this time, before he activated the same Genjutsu again, he ensured that he exerted even more force with the Sakkakugan, attempting to make the Genjutsu unbreakable. He used the Genjutsu again, and held it there before he deactivated his eyes once more. When he used Kai this time, the technique was dispelled just as easily as the first time. He was growing very frustrated, but he still refused to relent, activating his eyes again, feeling the involuntary anger rushing to the fore, ready to burst forth and let loose on a moment's notice. He fought to keep this level of malevolence down and proceeded to try again. [3/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
This time he used the Double False Surroundings Technique to further challenge himself, and he made sure to be in complete sync with power he could feel burning through his eyes. He used Kai again, but this time the new world held. He did it again and still no change. He was starting to get really happy now, and mouthed Kai out loud out of his glee, just for good measure. Nothing changed, and he as now sure that he gotten the ability down. He could not break the Genjutsu, even though this was a fairly simple one. This time he exerted twice the amount of chakra he would have needed to deactivate a normal Genjutsu, but before the dark world faded, he saw a hand that looked much like his reach toward him. Just at that moment when it seemed it would reach him, the fake world vanished. [4/11] ~ Genni Genjutsu]
He hyperventilated, not having expected such a thing. He had done nothing of the sort to cause such a strange thing to happen, or at least he didn't think he did. Maybe the eyes were just playing tricks on him. He decided that he didn't want to test that theory again. [5/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
A different Genjutsu was required now, for he needed something that placed him under stress to really test himself against. He knew just the Jutsu to use, and he was loathing it before he had even begun. He used the Pesuto technique with the Sakkakugan activated, and before he had a moment to catch his breath, the all too familiar squeaks of the hungry rats came, getting louder and louder the closer they got. [6/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
His heart started to race relentlessly as he thought of banishing the technique with nothing more than his chakra. It was exceedingly difficult, and the rats were almost upon him. He closed his and screamed, and just as it seemed that the rats would get to have their way with him, they vanished, leaving him all alone in the room. He was sweating slightly despite the always cold weather. Even though the technique seemed to be complete, he was still was not satisfied. [7/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
He cast the False Surroundings Technique again, then dispelled it, but it wasn't so easy as it used to be, just as he expected. He didn't want it to be difficult for him, and so he cast it again, then thought of releasing it. It still was not as easy as he had wanted. [8/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
He tried again, casting the False Surroundings, making the place pitch black one more time. Almost as soon as he did this, he started to hear voices coming from all around. He stood up quickly, turning in a complete circle to find where the voice had come from. As was expected, he couldn't see a thing in the darkness, and he couldn't have heard anyone outside of the Genjutsu. He had no idea what was going on, but he was starting to get afraid. [9/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
He sat in the darkness again, thinking of dispelling the Jutsu just as he had before. The voices came from all around again, and he tried to ignore them, but then a hand, similar to the one he had seen before, came from within the darkness and reached for him. He wiggled backwards quickly, just out of its reach, and it vanished, as if it hadn't been there to begin with. [10/11 ~ Genni Genjutsu]
He was breathing far too heavily to be normal, and just then, he felt a piercing pain in his skull. It was a headache unlike any other headache ever felt. It threatened to rip his skull open and reveal all that he had within. He was writhing on the ground, screaming at something that only he could see and feel. Anyone who may have been near would have thought he as crazy, for in reality, there was nothing there. They just could not know his pain. He stopped screaming momentarily, deactivating the Sakkakugan and standing up quickly, brushing himself off and looking around, obviously paranoid. He walked away to the men's bathroom for a quick washing of his face, taking quick, precise steps to his destination. "Weaver of the Night Sky" ☽ Izaya ☾ ☽ Toryo ☾ §[Genin]♥[Yukigakure]♥[Sakkakugan ~Active~]§ ❝This was to be his final attempt for the evening, and he was not looking forward to it after what had happened only a few minutes ago. He sat on the floor, activating his Sakkakugan along with the the Hell viewing Technique. He was dreading the confrontation with the sorts of disturbances he himself was about to conjure, but it had to be done. [1/11 ~ Kugai]
Before the Jutsu cam into effect, he tried to make it as grotesque and disturbing as possible by molding his chakra along with the power from his eyes into something new. What came out was not what he had imagined, it was something far worse. It was a strange girl that looked almost inhuman, wrapped in bandages all over, reaching towards him with the very same hand that he had seen in the darkness not too long ago. Behind her was a group of what would appear to be zombies. all looking especially repulsive. They swayed lazily to the sides, but never attacked. [2/11 ~ Kugai]
The girl before them just stood there, watching Izaya with soulless eyes, eyes that spoke of a kind of hunger that could not be sated. "Do you think you can keep me away boy? I will get free. I will..." The voice sounded exactly like Izaya's, and the body looked like his too, except for the more accentuated curves and the voluptuous breasts, and the slightly darker skin. He could see himself in the strange girl that stood there, doing nothing. Before he had a chance to gather himself, the girl raised a hand and the zombies moved, coming straight for Izaya. [3/11 ~ Kugai]
They weren't moving slow as one would expect of a zombie. Instead, they were moving at a normal human-like speed. Not running, but still fast enough. Izaya tried several times to dispel the Genjutsu with Kai, but to no avail. Nothing would work, and he was trapped. The first zombie, the fastest of the lot was now upon him. Izaya knew just how powerful his Genjutsu could be, so he didn't chance the others getting close. He shoved the first one off of him and started to run away. [4/11 ~ Kugai]
He wasn't getting far as he could see. Every time he looked back, it looked as if he were actually running closer to the zombies. He saw the girl standing exactly where she had been all along, watching, waiting to see what he would do next. He wondered if it were him or her really controlling the things in this world, and decided that he refused to die by the hands of his own Genjutsu creations. [5/11 ~ Kugai]
He stopped, turned around and began to concentrate, forming the Genjutsu without much effort. The rats that he so despised came rushing from behind him in an endless sea, jumping on and crawling all over the zombies, eating their rotten flesh and rendering them the reverse of the living dead. "...Hahahaha... Very good. I see you aren't just some weakling. I will need that power soon, so keep going..." The girl was standing so far away from him, yet he could hear her menacing whisper as if she had just spoken it in his ear. [6/11 ~ Kugai]
He refused to let the strange creature trying to pass herself off as a girl win, so he created a pillar of flames that fell from the sky, about to land upon her. He could hear her voice a simple 'Sakashima', and watched as the pillar of flame headed in his direction. He did the same thing, causing its effect to be reversed, heading back towards the girl. She didn't try to stop it at all, instead just standing there until it came close. It vanished without a moment's notice, as if it hadn't been there at all. [7/11 ~ Kugai]
Izaya couldn't take it anymore. A headache so great threatened to kill him as the fight went on, and he wanted out of it now. He didn't care what he had to do, he just wanted to get out. Kai still was not working, and he was out of options. He saw the girl watching him, curious as to what he would do next. He himself did not know, but he knew for a fact that he could not stay here with her, or he would end up dying. [8/11 ~ Kugai]
'Pain...' He had remembered reading somewhere that physical pain was always an effective way to get oneself out of especially powerful Genjutsu that Kai would not normally work on. He wasn't too keen on pain, but he was out of options at the moment. [9/11 ~ Kugai]
He summoned forth a pillar of flames, making it rush towards himself this time. "No!" The strange girl started running toward Izaya, but he manipulated the world around them to make her running fruitless,a s it didn't appear that she was moving at all. At that very moment, the flames collided with him, and the pain was so real that he didn't think he would be able to handle it. He thought he would die simply from the ferocity of the burning fire. [10/11 ~ Kugai]
He endured the pain, screaming loudly until he couldn't scream anymore, until finally, he was no longer inside the Genjutsu. He lay on the floor of the academy now, just waiting to see the strange girl reappear, but she never came. He didn't see a hand, a face, even the many bandages. Without a word, he turned to the door of the academy and left, not even glancing back for fear that she would be standing there, watching him. Atsureki Hyuuga The Hyuuga Prodigy Fuuton || Hyuuga || Taijutsu || Yukigakure || Raiton
Chakra: 195 || Byakugan: Inactive || Status: Healthy "The path to power lies through conflict"Walking through the doors leading to the Academy, Atsureki walked towards the front desk and asked the secretary for access to some Fuuton element scrolls, specifically for the techniques Kaze no Bouseki Tate [ Spinning Shield of Winds ], Zankyokukuuha [ Extreme Decapitating Air Waves ], and Kyoushu no Tokkan [ Assassin’s Rush ]. Throwing the woman a smile and a quick bow, the young Hyuuga then walked through the halls until he found a private training room. Closing the door behind himself, Atsureki Set down his scrolls before producing a fourth from under the folds of his heavy-fur cloak. Father's Juken scroll, and Grandfather's before him, this is where true strength lies, Atsureki thought before placing the scroll on the ground, separated slightly from the others.
Picking up the scroll furthest to the left, Atsureki rolled it out in front of him, reading over the description of his first technique. Kaze no Bouseki Tate, the Spinning Shield of Winds technique. By creating a spinning disk of fuuton chakra, the user causes a shield of wind to be formed, reflecting many attacks back at their source. That certainly sounds useful, Atsureki repeated to himself as he sat the scroll down and rose to his feet. A simple issue of chakra control, the proud young Hyuuga was certain this would be a simple task indeed.
Lifting his hands up in front of his chest, Atsureki slowly formed each hand-sign once to make sure he had the sequence down correctly. Flashing through the hand-signs, Atsureki channeled Fuuton chakra through his right arm. As the chakra traveled down the length of his arm to his wrist, Atsureki began to split the threads of chakra into single strands and began to twist them as they were expelled through his palm. [1/3 Kaze no Bouseki Tate ( Spinning Shield of Winds )]
Lifting his hand out to the side, Atsureki curled his fingers, hand turned so that his thumb was closest to the ground, palm facing his right side. Forcing the chakra to blast out of his hand, Atsureki twisted his hand suddenly clockwise. As the strands of fuuton chakra were expelled at a tremendous velocity, the force of his hand rotating causing the strands to spin rapidly in front of his palm. [ 2/3 Kaze no Bouseki Tate ( Spinning Shield of Winds )]
As the disk of chakra continued to rotate at an increasing rate, a brusque wind began to pick up, causing Atsureki's long ponytail to billow behind him. Lowering his hand, Atsureki began walking to his left, pulling two senbon from the holster on the inside of his cloak. As the spinning winds became a spinning gale, Atsureki spun and launched his first senbon, followed shortly by the second. As the first senbon struck the shield of winds, it was immediately stopped and then sent flying back towards Atsureki, only to collide with the second in mid-flight. Smirking, Atsureki tossed a few unruly strands of hair out of his eyes before walking to pick up his next scroll. [ 3/3 Kaze no Bouseki Tate ( Spinning Shield of Winds ) learned]"Through struggle, I will gain strength." Supplies: Kunai: 5 Senbon:15 Shuriken:5 Light Bomb: 0 Smoke Bomb: 5

He didn't know why he came back here really, he just thought it to be a quiet place where he could think and be away from people. Not too long after he arrived did he see the same boy he had gotten into a fight with at the restaurant. He felt the urge to go over to him and apologize yet again, but didn't bother. The boy looked to be in some form of training, and Izaya found that he recognized the technique that was being used. He had only moments ago learned it himself. There was someone else there, a man, one of the people who had been in the restaurant with him at the time of the incident. He went over and sat beside him quietly, allowing a few short seconds to pass before he looked up at him. "I'm really sorry about what I did at the restaurant. I didn't mean to, honestly. It just, happens sometimes and I can't stop it". His feminine voice came out in a sad drawl as he looked back down at the ground, waiting for the man to either curse him, or walk away. ❞ ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Chakra: 150/245

Once he remembered he smiled and looked back up at the man. "I think it's called Bukijutsu. Zain Hakemoto ▬Advising Samurai ▪ Snow Monk ▪ Crazy waves ▪ Quick winds▬ [ My blades are ment to show beauty, not bloodshed ] He stood up and shuffled the snow off his robe, looking to the boy and seemly, he did not look drunk, or barely acted like it.
