Axel gobbled the rest of his pizza slice and looked to his friend. "First, turn your phone off. Don't want to alert, second don't make eye contact or look at them. And finally, follow my lead and just do as little sneaking as possible. Trying to actually sneak when people are looking every which way makes you stick out more." The boy then took his friend's hand lead on toward a foreign part of the carnival. Apparently it Chinese New Year for someone, because the two found themselves floating behind a giant red dragon.

Terrence was starting to feel a little hungry. It had been a while since he had a meal and his stomach growled a little. "Actually, I think I'm going to find a bite to eat" he said to his friends, then looked around for a food stand that could serve him something for lunch. Sure, most of the stuff was greasy, but having it once in a while wasn't too bad. He spotted a stand that served things like pizza and fries and began heading in that direction. After a couple of steps he noticed Axel and Shayna who seemed to be heading in a different direction. The dental student stopped walking for a moment. Should he say something? What if it ruined Eric's day? Last night was bad enough already.

Shayna nodded at what Axel said and followed non chalantly. Of course she felt nervous but still... That is until they seemed part of a Chinese New Year parade? What?! "Okay so... Chinese New year dragon? Interesting... Uh.... What now?" She asked starting to chuckle. Of course Axel had found a way to lead them to a dragon's butt. Even if it wasn't real. She covered her mouth to keep from laughing before taking another large bite.

Paul jumped up and down excitedly as he ordered a deep fried twinkie from one of the stands. He had spotted Shayna and Axel in the distance, but it didn't click as he was so excited for his deadly snack. When he got it, he took bite of delicious bite and savored the flavour. That is, until what he saw finally clicked. "Aw, crap. I'm sorry Eric." was all he could say at the moment. He had just taken Eric to the same circus Shayna happened to be attending. Maybe with some luck they won't bump into each other.

"For what? Are you going to give yourself a heart attack or something?"
Eric was confused by the way his friend was suddenly acting; first he was excited about getting a deep fried twinkie and now he looked almost forlorn. It didn't click for him, either, until he saw the gigantic red dragon and two of the people directly behind it. There were several questions in his mind: Wasn't it a little late for Chinese New Year? Was there going to be some sort of parade? Why was Shayna here? Did it have to do with seeing that guy from the bar in the petting zoo?
Eric raised an eyebrow, but didn't outwardly react any further than that. He was a little puzzled, but wasn't showing the same anger or any sign of the emotional reaction he'd had to seeing Shayna last night. "I'm not going to make the same mistake I did last night," he said as though he felt he needed to explain himself, "It's okay."
As long as they didn't run into each other again, things would turn out fine.

Skye walked back towards Eric and Paul once they got their food with cotton candy in hand. "Not going to get something?" she asked Eric when she saw that he didn't have anything to eat. She tore off a piece of the cotton candy and popped it into her mouth and let it melt. She didn't recognize the two that the others spotted, though there does seem to be a bit of a commotion going on...

Paul still couldn't get himself to say anything on the matter. All he could do was nod at Eric's comment and hope that nothing went wrong for the rest of the day. He almost jumped when Skye came and mentioned Eric had no food. Almost. He somehow managed to keep his composure. "Yeah, Eric, why don't you have any food? Come on, let's get ya a slice of pizza. My treat." he said, trying to act like nothing was wrong.

The two walked into the dancers underneath the big red dragon. Instantly they become part of the show. Strange, especially since the dancers welcomed them. They seemed to short handed in the matter. Axel simply followed suit with what they were doing. Before long, they reached the finale of the show. The two friend were pulled aside however by big muscly hands that turned out to be Axel's father.

"What the hell are you two doing?" He barked as he looked down at the two with a cold stare. He sun was looking back up at him with his trademark stupid grin. "Axel, how many times have I told you not to cause trouble?" The steely father then expected his son to make up some kind of excuse for his behavior.

Axel was quick to respond after being pulled aside from the show and into privacy. "Dad, we're hiding from some people who are tailing us." The boy did his best to sound honest, but he came off more like he was just joking around.

Eric shrugged and said, "I'll go get some popcorn or something." Maybe later he might feel like eating it. Anyway, the popcorn stand was in the opposite direction Shayna and Axel were heading and that was by no means disregarded. Had he looked by the red dragon again, though, he wouldn't have seen them; he of course didn't know they were making a getaway as part of the show.

Eden opened her eyes and listened to the audience clapping for her. She didn't look at them, though. Slowly, she put the microphone back on its stand, and then turned around to go backstage for a short break. She still had a few more hours to go until her shift was over and the club closed, but it was dragging on more than usual tonight. It was partly because of her hangover from earlier today, and partly because she was still angry with herself. How could she have been so stupid to not just slap him when she had the chance? Why had he gone out of his way to find her? She swigged back her water bottle and took a long drink, trying to remember his name. They'd been spared the formality last night, but when he had tutored her all those years ago? He'd told her then, but it had been such a long time.

Terrence wasn't sure what to say. He quietly got a slice of pizza and a bottle of water, since he did not like soft drinks. "Maybe there's another show going on somewhere else" he said, trying to ease the tension and maybe get the group moving to a different area away from where Shayna and Alex were spotted.

Shayna followed into the parade and quickly followed the awesome feeling of dancing with performers. She was just starting to laugh and enjoy herself when she was jerked out of that reality and pulled into another. Axel's dad looked down at the two and she stared wide eyed as though she were a deer in headlights. Until she heard Axel's answer to his question where she couldn't help but laugh. The brunette stood up straight and brushed her dress off and missed the rest of her oreo but she was happier.

"Then lets go get you some popcorn. Maybe we can find some place to sit or some show to watch while we eat too." Skye said as she took the initiative to start walking over to the stand.

((Uh yeah sure. How about the end of the circus during the huge finale? And shaynas parents and creeper can find her there and we can all have some fun watching dramatic happenings?))
