Rock then remembered something, "Oh, that reminds me, Ma, you best be seeing Kai before heading home. I have been picking up strange vibes for the last hour coming from his planet."

"Thanks, I'll do that." Dee sighed wondering if she would ever get to be with Terry anytime soon, but knew that if Rock ever got strange vibes, then it was serious.

At that, Dee took off out the rear entrance once again with the speed of a ninja and was soon out of sight.

Trixi turned to Rock after Dee left. "Strange vibes? What does that mean? Are you an empath?"

Rock laughed, although knowing Trixi was trying to be serious. Then he replied, "No, but my biological mother...she was...an angel. Like literally. She is in the heavens right now making sure that I behave myself. Of course, with Dee being my stepmom and all, making the kind of mischief I used to just won't do here anymore. The best times I get to play any sort of prank is during the month of April and during October. Unless I could get away with it, there is no point. Joe is sometimes a help, but not always."

The saiyans who were visiting the steakhouse all gave Rock a high five and said something in their language (not translated so you can use your imagination) then left out through the exit gate leading to the stone path.

(Once this night ends, there will be a time skip so that we can do a Christmas thing for the lounge, but I also would like an update in the OOC thread about the things you and Trixi wanted to see with Rock. And I will post in there after that on how much closer Rock is with Jinxi just so that we are all caught up and this way too, anyone new can join and will know its the Christmas Season)

Rock laughed, although knowing Trixi was trying to be serious. Then he replied, "No, but my biological mother...she was...an angel. Like literally. (OOC: Trixi and Jinxi are now equipped with their own telepathic translators, so they should understand every language they hear, at least the literal translations. As for the time skip, I don't want to skip too much time since Trixi just got there. We need to be sure to detail what they saw, who they met, etc.)

Trixi accepted Rock's words without comment. Pranks were a fun activity, but she had learned some folks had a much lower tolerance than others for them!

Jinxi smiled. "It's so nice to be 'plugged in' again!" Then she looked at Trixi with a touch of anxiety. "You're not mad at me for bringing you here, so far from home, are you?"

Trixi grinned a bit mischievously. "Nope, this is gonna be fun, and my family abandoned me long ago. And since we can still communicate with Portal Central, what's to worry?"

(Well, okay, it's just that we don't want to be too far behind in the season. And the Bogard Bar has already, in real life, began to set up their Christmas stuff for the annual Bogard Christmas Bash)

Rock smiled, "There are many planets yet to visit guaranteed. Oh, that's right, nearly forgot to mention this Trixi...since you are new here, there is a sort of law of protection everyone must go through if they are to live in Southtown or any of the more dangerous planets. Jinxi has already had her orientation and she has a long way to go to develop her self defense. But, she does have potential and this law of protection is so you don't get yourself killed here without being warned first or having some sort of training. Now for you being a monkey, I know that you'd have some excellent self defense. Like...throwing a banana peel on the floor...that in itself can be used not only in a classic prank, but as a self defense. Say someone dangerous is walking towards you trying to steal a banana, not that they would but, for scenario purposes. You could eat the banana, throw the peel and not only did you prevent your food from being taken, you sent the assailant for a little ride."

Some of the nearby patrons began laughing at the scenario Rock described. It was true. A classic prank turned into something of value and still getting a laugh in the process.

It was then that Rock remembered something else. It was his turn to put up some decorations for Christmas and he had already selected that his first room to decorate was the arcades. The thing was, he had forgotten to get decorations. He checked his cool looking watch, noting that whatever decorations he used, he'd have to craft them himself.

Then he got an even better idea with how he was going to do that and provide entertainment for the ladies he was escorting around the galaxy at the same time. He asked them, "How would you two like to see Harvest Gardens right after we eat? I nearly forgot that I had to decorate the arcades for Christmas and I am going to need supplies in order to make the best decorations ever. Plus, if we do go there, the two of you can help me find sparkly gems within the mines we will be going to. This is the best time of year to get the coolest and brightest gems possible and anything you two find, you get to keep!"

Rock ordered a spaghetti with meat sauce for the three of them and then told them all that Rock had to do to prepare for the party. He told them how the entire mansion from top to bottom had to be decorated and how the chores board normally was used for who does what chore was being used for who does what in terms of getting ready for the enormous Christmas party. He told them of how William Tyler has 20, 000 children of his own that often comes over and they don't always make things go smoothly. "On the bright side," he said, "At least you two won't be bored. And perhaps an opportunity for minor mischief. Oh, and you two might be in charge of keeping my dad away from the kitchen before the big dinner is ready. He has a habit of trying to sneak a taste before its ready and that could mean his end if someone doesn't watch him."

(OOC: I like being colorful, so.... now Jinxi's words are green.)

Sighing Rock replied, "If he tries to sneak a taste, he could become poisoned. Its not good to eat meat raw especially Turkey or Pig. Food poisoning is a really bad thing in this galaxy because it means a quick death and a painful one. And because you'd be suffering during the whole ordeal, Ken Masters, our revivalist, would not be able to interview you and you could be someone entirely different if and when someone decides to complete the interview."

Trixi giggled. "Eating raw meat is stupid, everyone knows that. Why would your dad do something so silly and dangerous?"

Meanwhile, Jinxi was getting bogged down understanding the second part of what Rock had said. "Why would I be suffering if your dad poisoned himself? And how could I be someone entirely different later? I don't understand."

Rock replied, "Think more on what I said Jinxi. I said that IF you had food poisoning, it would be the worst suffering that you ever experienced because you might never be who you were before after you die from it."

He took a heaping scoop of spaghetti before answering Trixi's question. To that he said, "As for my dad...well, its the smells around him. You know how if you smell something really, really good when it comes to food that you cannot help yourself and want some? Well, that's basically what my dad feels whenever we are cooking the turkey. The smell from the turkey makes him want to eat it too soon."

Jinxi gave Rock a look of disapproval. "I would never eat raw or under-cooked meat. As Trixi says, everyone knows that is dangerous. There are lots of dangers I may not see here or understand if I do see them, but even where I come from under-cooked meat is dangerous. Darin would say it's a scientific constant not worth underestimating."

Trixi laughed. "Well, there was that one time with the grenades..." She giggled.

Jinxi lifted her chin and said disdainfully, "I was NOT part of that team, and for that matter, neither were you." Then she relented and added, "But it's true, I guess, everyone can make mistakes that seem obvious after they are made."

"Which is why I could use your help with that. Just remember too, my dad is part wolf, so when it comes to dinner time and food, sometimes the animal in him just takes over. However, the plan to prevent a disaster from happening, I am going to need you two to just keep him occupied, that's all."

Eating the rest of his spaghetti in silence, Rock observed the others in the restaurant. He saw that a few ninjas were still eating, one of them being Choji Akimichi who can eat his weight in food. The others at his table, he noted were Saukra Haruno and Naruto Uzumaki. Rock uttered a small giggle when he saw that Naruto and Choji were having a ramen eating contest. Then he said, "Speaking of the stupid things that can happen, take a look at that table over there," Rock pointed to Naruto's table, "Those two men eating like there is no tomorrow are Naruto Uzumaki the blonde one, and Choji Akimichi the chubby one. From what it appears, it would seem they are having a ramen eating contest."

Jinxi looked at the two ramen-eating patrons. "While I agree eating ramen for a contest seems silly, why do you draw particular attention to it? There are lots of silly things going on all around."

"Well, its something on topic and it just proves my point. People around here can do pretty silly things. So, you two ladies done eatin'?"
