Spotting a bludger, he moved to smack it towards Zack. Of course wasn't... Quite as accurate as he hoped. A bat was totally different from a bow, after all. Frustrating nonetheless.

As Brianna was flying escourt for Karah, another Bludger slammed into her, and she felt her left shin get shattered by the force of the iron ball. 'Frack! Well, at least it's just a leg. I can fly without that. Just means I won't be walking to Hospital this time,' she thought grimly. She didn't know which hurt more though, getting hit, or watching Torin field the shot on goal, and pass it off to his teammate.
The Fourth Year whipped her mount around, as another Bludger sailed towards her, sliding below her as she pulled a tight lag roll to get turned about. 'Where the heck's our Beaters?' Brianna grumbled inwardly as she lined up a steal attempt. 'At this rate, they'll be peeling me off the pitch with a stick and a spoon.'

Once more. While the snitch was still in armsreach, Echo stretched out again.
And once again, her arm twinged as pain shot up her upper arm. She winced-- and this time the distraction was enough to no only slow her down but lose sight of the snitch.
No, no, no! Where'd that damned ball go?! She continued along the trajectory the snitch had been going it, but soon slowed--it was useless. She'd lost the trail.

For now, Echo banked sharply around, chasing after Brynes, who seemed to at least know where she was going. Echo followed after the younger girl, searching the skies ahead for the snitch again.
She didn't see it yet, but if she kept on Brynes's tail, maybe she'd at least be closer once she did spot it.
