Amy grinned proudly and rested her head on Karrie's shoulder. "Thank you, Karrie, both for saying you can take the plate up now and for saying we have a good staff here. I know they really wanted to impress you today. If they make simple little mistakes, I think it's because they're nervous. You're a great boss, though, so the nerves should get better soon."

She stood up on her tip toes, kissed his temple, and then went back to the table.

EDIT: Amy put Smok on Velcore's back and then picked up a plate. She giggled at Velcore's enthusiastic expression and response about toward the food. She started making a pizza for him, asking him what he wanted as they went along.

*hisses breath out slow as Kits turns around, brushing against as she does*

Well...*tilts head and kisses her* *reaches up and fingers a velvety ear* If you had blue up in your cute little ears, and a blue *glances down at her chest and gulps* corset, I might just... twisted faint right here. wink ninja Yeah...faint is the word.... twisted

*grins* Well, I think I can work with them. *picks up a plate to start making a dish to take to Thistle. He knew what she liked best, so it was easy for him to decide*

*follows Amy around, hardly noticing the slight weight of Smok, even when the little dragon digs his claws in to hold on*

:: suddenly pops out from behind Rod ::

:: shakes her head at them ::

:: skips off toward the giant chocolate cake :: blaugh

*closes her eyes for a moment* I'll have to keep that in mind. twisted

*blinks when she hears Miro's voice* Umm... hi Miro.

Amy was going to turn and say hi to Rod again as she set Velcore's plate down on the floor for him, but she noticed that he was still very much absorbed in Kits. So, she decided not to try and talk with him again right away. She smiled and giggled at the sight.

Then, Miro popped up. Amy's eyes widened, she gasped, and then she quickly shouted out, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIRO!"

*smiles when he sees the elf pop up* Happy Birthday, Miro. Make sure you try some of the other food too, not just the cake. *grins*

*looks up from his plate at Miro* Happy birthday. *goes back to his plate, Smok hopping down to eat from the other side*

*straggles in a while after Miro, still tired. When he sees her going right for the cake, he facepalms and catches her before she gets there*
I think you should eat something else first stare

*glances around at the other food and sees the pizzas, then points her in that direction*
There you go. Everyone likes pizza.

:: grins broadly at everyone wishing her happy birthday, but continues her path to the cake until Draa stops her ::

*jumps slightly as Miro's voice comes from behind* *raises eyebrow and looks over shoulder* Um...hi. *hears Amy shout happy birthday* Well, Happy Birthday, Miro.

*chuckles and kisses Kits again* Please do. wink

*grins* I'll have to see what I can do. wink I'm sure I can find something you'll like.

Amy clapped for Miro and then watched as Miro went to the food. "We tried to get you things you'd like Miro. I hope you've had a good birthday so far!"

*finished with the plate, steps back from the buffet table* Hi Draa. I'll be right back. *carries the plate down to the pet spa to give it to Thistle*

*continues eating, oblivious to everything else that's going on*

:: after making her pizza, she's about to skip off when she notices a card that says "vegetarian" in big letters in front of some food dishes. She takes a look at them and scoops up a bit of the pasta salad, then finds a seat somewhere to eat ::

Miro's birthday was actually yesterday 3nodding Though Miro's husband didn't tell her happy birthday until this morning even though he knew it was yesterday. He's silly xp Miro also pretty much only had cake that day. blaugh
