Henrietta looked down at Melty. "He lost a battle earlier. He's just.. g-grumpy." She knelt down to pat the Litwick on the back and the flame on his head flared up.

"oh... hm... " the boy stared intently at the flame as it rose. "does that mean he's mad?" as the boy said this he came closer to examine it. kai does the same but seems more nervous than interested at this point

[That's right, but I'll settle for the kid here.] Melty didn't really differentiate torching people and Pokemon. To him? They were so far below that they all torched with the same effort.
Except for his sweet. Ahhh, how he missed her, the smell of her leaves while they were suspended over lava, the heat placed against her, their bodies so close.
His flame lit up more prominently, but not because he was angry.

as he spoke, his kirlia hid from the litwick behind his trainer, its emotions starting to scare him

((Melty's love would be Wayne's Petilil. It's pretty one sided and Melty's concept of loving someone doesn't differentiate much from murder.))

Henrietta watched him go until he turned around. "O-oh. Henrietta." She nodded her head slowly to him. She offered a slight wave. "T-take care."

with that he dissapeared into the croud, headed back to the water
