The car arrived at the cemetery where Orion last saw the general and the katana he returned. Maddie parked at a certain spot and got out of the car. Orion followed behind her, watching a few other neighbourhood friends and family relatives he didn't know about. She talked with a few of the people, and some of them broke down, but his mother never did show any tear under her eyes. It was as though she was emotionless and unwavered by his passing away. But Orion knew she was trying her best not to cry, even in front of her only son.
When the priest arrived, he read out a few passages from the bible and there was silence among the people. All Orion could do was stare back at the brown coffin that contained his father's body. Everything around him was ignored except for a soft hand that touched his shoulders. When he checked whose hand it was, it was his own mother, who had a handkerchief in front of her mouth. No tears showed yet, but it was obvious she was holding back.
Orion suddenly realised how much he missed his father, and how wrong it was to leave him after their last encounter at home. He yelled at him for what he did, and never apologised for it. It was a bad aftertaste for him as a tear began to drop down his cheek. "You b*****d...", he muttered to himself, "Just leave when there's nothing left for you..."
((( Sorry for the long post..... I'm not even done yet..... xd )

The funeral ended with the coffin lowered into the dirt hole as it was filled to the ground level hidden away from view. Only the gravestone marked where his father's body laid underground. Soon, the people disappeared after their silent blessings, and try to cheer up the wife who still hasn't shed a tear for him. Orion stared back at the coffin with disappointment at not being for him when it was possible to do so.
On one side of himself, Orion noticed Lucifer was standing beside him, with his hands in his pockets and staring into the sky with a bored expression. Although it looked like he didn't care, it was as though he was saying goodbye to someone else too. That was verified when the demon said in a soft tone, "Goodbye Cerberus..."
Finally, the last of the Orion family left the cemetery and back to their car. When they got in, they didn't move for a full 12 seconds, and Orion was about to asked what was wrong, when he saw Maddie over the steering wheel in silent tears. He could see them falling down on the wheel, and he didn't know what to say or do, except be silent and let her be.
He couldn't take this anymore... first, it was a loyal general who took him under her wing... his father who probably died alone after he met up with him... and now Kikyo even lost her memories once to forget about him... He can't take all this loss anymore... all he wanted to do was block the pain out forever...
