The Machine [Open/Accepting]

Zil snuck into Shadow's apartment as soon as she got away. He noticed the prince still sleeping and proceeded to take out some equipment from his bulky, black backpack. He set things up on Shadow's television and began playing the foreign news when the satellite, tracker-disabling equipment and interceptors were up. He began to watch the chaos he began. Of course, a poor hapless blond boy had to be sacrificed in the process but all the paperwork was done and all the bribes were made to ensure the success of this plan.

Kyrell twitched slightly but began to come to as she heard the sounds of television. He opened his eyes and began to watch with Zil who was sitting on the floor. He didn't bother asking him anymore. The man did not divulge much information as he used to. He was clearly different but in some ways still the same. "Did you do this?", he asked softly. Zil nodded and Kyrell closed his eyes. He did not know to be proud or to be angry at the man. So this is why he did not want him killing Damien that time. Zil wanted to see him go down in flames.

Fanny had heard about the fate of the noble who was with them just a few days ago. She locked herself in her room. The man was pretty annoying and said plenty of unnecessary things, but he reminded her of Zil somehow. The prince knocked meekly on her door, asking her to come out and eat.

Monica had no more news for the day but kept quiet at Damien's outrage, knowing better than to become the object of attention in such a time. She left quietly with the others when dismissed, heading for the nearest working coffee dispenser since her entire staff was working dead hard on the foreign cases. Of course, it was conveniently located on the second floor. She got in the elevator, not looking once at the young Diethelmian soldier who was with her. "Shouldn't you be using the stairs?", she said in a pretty harsh manner.

"Carrying this heavy stack to the some random meeting room? No way. I wasn't paid for this." Shadow replied. "Enjoy that little tidbit you're getting... it's too early for this." Shadow grumbled, getting off the elevator with the papers. Monica probably wouldn't understand what she said at first given the good disguise, but as soon as she did, it would have raised alarms, but Monica would probably have already been transported halfway to her floor before that happened. Shadow walked down the hall with slight irritation to deliver the papers.

Monica raised her eyebrow at the boy, rolling her eyes and letting it slide for now. After all, coffee sounded like a more important issue.

Damien thought for a moment on what would be better for him. Now wasn't the time to turn countries on each other. They'd get suspicious. "Hmm. Well we should have a meeting with their ambassadors together. Perhaps also organize some secret individual meetings. I want to see if we can play with them. We may be able to turn this to our advantage if we play things right" Damien said.

"Yes sir, of course." The ambassador replied. "Anything else?"

"That is pretty much it, though we will be investigating who made that image of that prince being tortured to death. Maybe find anything you can on him, though that's not your main focus. Something is fishy about all this" Damien said.

"Of course sir." The ambassador said with a bow. "I shall take my leave then." He said with a bow before turning to leave.

((Good question... umm... I don't know. A week? You can have Damien visit the twins after they get better.))

Damien got up one morning at his villa and went to check on the twins to see if they were any better. He lightly knocked on the door of their room. "Are you awake?" he asked.

The twins got up, looking a little pale. The vomiting had stopped the day before, and they were still recovering from the sickness. They looked a lot better then they did the day before, but they were still pale and they lost a bit of weight. "Morning daddy." They called, getting up to greet him, but they wobbled a little weakly. "We're feeling better today." They smiled.

"Ah, that's good. The poison should be totally gone soon if not now. Go back to sleep if you feel you need to" he said.

"Yes sir." The twins said, walking to both sides of him and hugging him. "Have fun at work, daddy."
