I think they brought Samantha over from SG-1 because they knew it would make fans happy. Plus it is still Atlantis, just with a new person in charge. Plus it is great fun for diehard fans when they throw in references to things that happened in SG-1.

Not as much. Plus they haven't used Samantha as much either. It seems they don't give the leader of he Atlantis crew as they should.

Well, I'm glad of that. I don't want it to turn into the Carter show, just because she was on SG1.
