Well, it's official.
I have written myself into a hole.
for the sake of attempting to continue the story, I will omit the previous chapter.

Hell just froze over.
My boredom has overcome my laziness.

Saya, Silabus and Atoli looked around.
"Huh? What's this?" Silabus asked.
Atoli was flabbergasted.
"But... How did this...?" Atoli said, apparently unable to complete a sentence.
The field was blank.
There was nothing on the screen but the three players.
Suddenly, a black and white blob appeared.
"Aida!" Atoli screamed.
She was silent for a few minutes.
To break the silence, Saya asked, "What's wrong?"
Atoli turned around.
"Huh? Oh, I was having a private chat with Haseo, he said he'll be here any minute now."
The three suddenly heard Haseo's voice.
"Guys? I don't see you! All I see is a normal field!"
Then, the three heard another voice, slightly feminine.
"Greetings. I am AIDA. I was informed that one among you has passed Morganna's trials. Which one of you is the player known as Kite?"
Saya answered. "None of us. At least, not anymore, anyways. I was the player Kite."

Gasp! Had I not already told you who Saya was, this would be a shock! Except for the first chapter.

And 2 in a row!

"What the--?" Haseo yelled.
"Shocked?" Saya asked.
"No! It's not that! I'm fighting a monster! It's name is... Skeith!" Haseo shouted. "And to make this even stranger, I can't data drain!"
AIDA spoke again.
"Kite, if your friend is to escape this encounter alive, you must embrace your power."
Suddenly, Atoli disappeared.
"Wha- Where did she go?" Saya asked.
"She must fight herself." AIDA responded.
"Like, a doppleganger?" Silabus asked.
"No. She is facing Innis."
"What's going on?!" Saya shouted. "I come back after seven years and more stuff happens?"
AIDA calmly responded, "No. Your return was merely a coincidence. Your presence was sensed, and, while we have been able to hold back the threat of Morganna's Rebellion, we have need of help. As we speak, all eight Epitaph Users are fighting themselves. Your help is required. You will again be hunted, once you recieve your power. When you have, the fights will end, and you will have to defeat them one at a time. After this is done, you must defeat Morganna. This path will be arduous. Do you accept?"
Saya nodded. "I do."
"It is done."
There was a flash, and the screen became black. 'SYSTEM ERROR' flashed on the screen.
The young man turned off his computer, and went to bed.
"I'll work on it in the morning."

'What the ********?' were my exact thoughts when I was typing this.

Right now I am trying to remember what my creative process was at the time of my writing that.
Perhaps it was a wish to make a really funny Endrance moment later on.
Or a Piros/Natsume one.
