i'd say the manga, because it just makes me laugh more. and it reminds me a bit of bisco hatori's other works, like millenium snow.

I like them both, because in the anime you get to hear their voice and all their actions, but in the manga there is just so much more. :]

Ok, I've seen the anime, but I've only seen the first three episodes (so don't spoil it for me!).
However, I think the manga and the anime are both very different. You get to hear the voices, sure, but in the first three episodes, it's almost like subjects in manga volumes two and three were added in there. It helps the story move along, but it surprised me a little. The anime, I think, is easier to follow along with than the manga. The manga has a lot of dialogue and a lot of extra chitchat outside of the speech balloons, so reading it can confuse me sometimes. I love the anime for its sharp looks and mostly for its simplicity. I can UNDERSTAND it.
You don't have to agree with me, but if you have nothing nice to say about my opinion, please don't say anything at all.
Does anybody agree with me on what I just said above?

I'm quite fond of collecting DVD's, but if I were to choose.... I'd say both, because in the manga, the characters are really well-drawn, but you can't see those hilarious expressions of Tamaki and the twins when it comes to Haruhi's weird reactions there much... hehe I really enjoy watching them.^^

Totally anime because i think the twins and other characters look hotter in the anime. Also, i think they are funnier in the anime.
Men who move are are hotter than them not moving.

For me it's definitely a tie. The manga's biggest plus in my mind is that it's ongoing and much longer, and some arcs of the plot are told a bit differently (or very differently) than they were handled in the anime, with a bit more drawn-out character development and such.
On the other hand, who doesn't love to get to see and hear Tamaki's ...... spazzes. blaugh Plus, I'm a very sound-oriented person, so I love listening to their voices.
So, I love them both equally. However, it remains to be seen if I appreciate the dub as much.
