Plot Details:
I have a plot Idea for Keshani - It is an altered version of the pet idea that i had for Ryker that we sort of discussed the other day; however, I believe this idea would be more suitable and acceptable to Keshani. While I've been wanting Ryker to collect 'pets' I've also been wanting him to figure out what it is like to be controlled himself. I've been wanting him to see that it isnt something that he likes to have done to himself.
I was thinking that this could be something categorized under Keshani's plots for A Toy and Interaction with Grounds. It is simply an Idea, nothing is truly fleshed out yet and details can still be changed. It, in the end I hope, could develop to the two being allies and friends, or vast enemies of each other. It also has the ability to impact Aderes and Aveshars interactions.
It'll start out with the two meeting randomly, both could posibly be hunting the same creature, or Keshani could come accross Ryker eating a fresh kill - basically some sort of interaction you believe may strike interest to Keshani. Ryker of course would find it to be a great achievement to have tricked a Kalona to be his pet, and will try to get her to sucumb to his will. His offer? He knows kalona's are picky about blood, an her wind wings clearly shows she is in their eyes lesser than other Kalona's. He believes their standing in the kalona comunity is their ability to prove dominance over lessers; so his offer will be that he, while she is around others of her kind, will act as her pet to up her standing among her kind - but in return she has to do as he sais. This is the twist. As you said before, Keshani would never fall for something like this. But, would she be willing to play along and pretend to go along with what he asks simply to play with his mind and toy with him, tricking him and convincing him that she is more knowledgeable about anything she asks him to do and thus turning it around on him to where he is doing everything she tells him to do - basically making him her actual pet and toy rather than her pretend pet?
If she could indeed do it I think it would be rather interesting. Of course, depending on the circumstances in which he found out he was tricked (and I truly hope for him to find out eventually, he is not the sort to be a pet forever like his father), it would either turn their relationship to acceptance and veiwing each other equally or it would make it to where Ryker wished to get revenge on Keshani for what she did to him.
If in the end it is acceptance that occurs, and the two do become allys of sorts - I'd like to also throw out the plot idea of the two teaching each other how to hunt (which would only really be her teaching him, as I am sure she shall be taught by her more knowledgeable father and others of her kind). This plot Idea is what may possibly affect the interactions of Aderes and Aveshar. Aderes has tried for some time to hunt down and kill her son Azzan, and she knows of his children. It would be a merit towards Aveshar's genetics and raise Keshani's worth in Aderes eyes if his offspring was capable of doing what she had been unable to do for so long - kill those in her family line, or make them worth keeping alive. Of course she wouldn't contribute Rykers lust for meat to Azzan or Ravah, she, despite what she is told, would believe it was due to Aveshar and Keshani.
I had more ideas - but I cant seem to remember them at this time ^^; When they come back I'll make another post.
About Your Soq, Etc Details: Vindictive, possessive, hot tempered, vain. So far, Ryker has only three things that he cares about - besting his sister by being Mother's favorite, Collecting as many 'Pets' as he can, and working on his hunting skills. Even as a basket he strives to be Ravah's favorite, hunting and smothering small creatures under his basket to take back to her for breakfast. While his attempts at being Ravah's favorite seems fruitful, his collection has yet to have a single member. He's changed his tactics now because of it.
