I've never fainted before, but came close to backing out a few times--when I was under extreme exhaustion. I didn't like the weird feeling I got as my tongue and eyelids became heavy, and my limbs were feelings disembodied.

How could you let your brother practice on you? Don't they let doctors and nurses and I guess, EMT's, train on cadavers?

What the DO is called practice. But them training on dead bodies is NOT any consolation. O_O; XD

They do IV extraction on dead bodies? don't they 'not' have blood? confused

They just practice doing it to practice finding arteries and veins. Makes life a bit less painful for their patients that are actually alive! @__@ *makes morbid joke*

I wonder how that goes really. It scares me the way driving does. gonk

You know the rubber thing they tie around your arm?
For some reason that freaks me out.
Even when they just take a few vials for blood tests I have to to breathing exercises to avoid freaking out.
I have the same problem with them taking my blood pressure, though that one's not as bad.

I pass out whenever I get blood drawn/any kind of shot...
but I've got some crazy phobia of syringes.
I'll faint even if I'm in a room with someone else getting a shot >_>

I'm always told to lay down before shot (so I don't fall off of whatever I'm on lol) & the nurses always have OJ for me when I come around

I fainted once. Took something, then fell forward off a chair and knocked my head on tile floor. Completely passed out for a minute. Woke up crying because my head hurt so bad. I had a bump there for nearly a month.
