I saw you at CTcon 09, AB 09, and CTcon 08. You might have. I was working in the artist alley at CTcon this year with salsa and two other people. We were ILU4Ever. We had cyber falls, kandi, and a pink vinyl tablecloth. x3 I had orange falls the first day, and green/black ones the second. At CTcon 08, I was Medusa from soul eater for two days, and one of the thousand Misa-Misa's the first day.
I used to have a cosplay.com account, but everyone was really elitist there and barely anyone answered my questions when I asked, so I left. :/

I've only ever been in 2 full cosplays, but I've worn lolita dresses various times...
Anywho, my first costume was Captain Retsu Unohana (Bleach)... VERY hot! Not as in attractive, as in STIFLING!! I wore it to Tekkoshocon 2006, '07, and '08 and Katsucon '07... Got some pretty interesting stories as a result. I'll list them:
~Had this HUGE guy at Katsu freak out- For 2 minutes, all I heard was, "OMG UNOHANA UNOHANA UNOHANA! YOU'RE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER! YOU'RE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!" (and so on and so forth) and then he asked for a hug... Quite a shock, since back then I was all, "DON'T TOUCH ME! crying " but I gave him one anyway sweatdrop
~Got a Hanataro to "die" for me so I could "heal" him biggrin
~Saw a Zaraki (I don't remember if he recognized me or not...) who had the number "13" on the back of his coat instead of "11" and insisted I was wrong when I tried to tell him sweatdrop
~Got a comment from a random stranger: "Oh, thank you!" "Uh... Excuse me?" "Oh, I just always wondered how that hair went!"
~Almost got glomped by a stranger. He glomped 3 friends, then went for me ("I'm gonna hug YOU, and I'm gonna hug YOU, and I'm gonna hug YOU, and I'm gonna hug A RANDOM STRANGER!!") and then when I quickly walked away after shouting, "DON'T TOUCH ME!! crying ", he yelled back, "All I wanted to do was touch your beard!!" crying (It's not a beard!)
And then I have my Jakotsu (Inuyasha) costume (worn to Katsucon '07). I only wore it once, and only got recognized twice (There were no Inuyashas to stalk!! crying ) Worst story ever: I made the kimono out of a heavier polyester fabric. From all the weight, I couldn't even wear it properly because the fabric kept pulling itself out of the obi/belt/tie/whatever you want to call it. And my arms were sore for DAYS after wearing it! I swear, it had to have weighed 10-20lbs!! (I actually want to weigh it when I get home...)

Ah... Cosplay history..... This is going to take awhile....
My first cosplay ever was before I even knew what anime was. It was Halloween 1998, and my mom wouldn't make me a Sailor Moon costume due to we were going to move the day after Halloween. So I decided that if I couldn't be Sailor Moon, I would be Luna. We got a black outfit, makeup, and cat ears and tail. I had a crescent moon paint on my forehead so I could be Luna! Man, I was a cosplayer in the making even when I was younger!
Years later, after I was introduce to the world of anime, I found out the wonder of cosplay. This one comic store had a cosplay contest that I wanted to enter. My friend and I were planning to do a group cosplay, but she never followed through. So, I ended up doing Ryoko from the Tenchi series alone. I didn't win.
The following year, I was really obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh. In particular, Kaiba Seto. To be nice to my mom, I decided to do the Duelist Kingdom outfit. Didn't win the contest again.
Year after, AniZona started. My friends and I found out they had voice actors from FMA. We decided to do FMA cosplays. One of them did Ed and another did Riza. I did Roy. That outfit rocked. Someone actually asked if I bought it when my mom and I made it in 3 weeks!
AniZona 2 came and I wanted to do something few people would think about. I went back to my Yu-Gi-Oh fandom and did Jonouchi Katsuya. Specifically, I did his dog suit that was in three episodes. I actually won second place in a cosplay contest (around Halloween one year).
AniZona 3 was when I had the courage to do one of my cosplay goals. I did Halloween Town Sora. It was so cool! My mask was made out of a paper plate and my dad made me a 1-to-1 scale Keyblade to my height based off the Chain of Memories (GBA) picture I gave him.
There was a long break from conventions and cosplays due to school. But, I finally decided to do a costume for this Renaissance Festival that happens every year here. I did a Link costume. Basically, all I had to make was the tunic, hat, and belts. I latter made leggings that looked like boots to finish the outfit.
Recently, I did KH2:FM+ Halloween Town Sora on the Christmas side. That took awhile since a lot was going on. In the end, it wasn't as good as some of my previous costumes, but I still love it!
Right now, I'm doing a Lolita outfit that can be interchangeable with dragon accessories for a Red Eyes Black Dragon. I'm also gathering stuff for a Fubuki Tenjoin (GX) cosplay. Nya~!
