Wow, I don't think I've posted in this guild yet. I joined a while back but I never got around to it.
Now for my complaints. My first con, I had run-ins with three particularly annoying people. I was cosplaying Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I KNOW it is not technically an anime, but it is anime style. Anyway, the first guy came up to me and said something like "you know, Avatar isn't an anime!" and proceeded to b***h about it. This being my first con, and my first encounter with such a person, I just sort of nodded and mumbled. (He was a lot bigger than me, okay! I was intimidated.) In hindsight, I wished I had retorted with the fact that I'd seen everything from Spongebob to Pirates that con. I've got news for you, mister; Avatar is closer to Anime than any of those.
Now I made that costume, and was right proud of it, let me tell you. I thought it was quite good for a first. I had lots of people take pictures and I had lots of fun at the Avatar photoshoot.
But back to the other two annoying people.
I had one guy come up to me who was obviously one of those people who just thinks he knows everything. He went off about how I wasn't "acting" right, and handed me a piece of paper to look at. I looked down at the (rather scantily clad) anime girl, then back at him, and said "so what?" To which he replied, "no! See, you're not doing it right! Toph would get mad and go off about being blind and stuff!" This was my second day, and by then I had already learned much about con culture. This time, I strode forward and thrust the paper back at him, then stood there taking with a raised voice and poked him in the chest multiple times. "Now look here; I don't know who you think you are, telling me how and how not to act, but for your information, I am NOT blind. Maybe you'd like to walk around this con with your eyes closed to convince everyone that you're really the blind bandit, but I'm here to enjoy this convention. I can be whomever I damn well please."
Then, there was this incredibly huge Inuyasha cosplayer. I myself am pretty short, so he looked like a giant to me. He thought I was the "cutest thing ever." He informed me that he was going to kidnap me, and walked forward and picked me up. I freaked, and started kicking and beating on his meaty thigh with my fists until he put me down, laughing. I was soooo steamed.
My second con, I cosplayed L. I really put a lot of effort into his character, as well as the makeup and hair. I bound my small breasts, I sat like him, EVERYTHING. I was positively MORTIFIED at the amount of other cosplayers I saw who were so-called "L's," who obviously didn't give a damn about detail. There was one girl with long brown hair wearing tight jeans, a stretchy white shirt, and heels, saying she was "L". I fought the strong urge to kick her in the face.
Holy crap that was a long post. Sorry about that. o_O;

Glomping, I despise glomping, I've got one of my cosplays wich I spent about 90 hours on and a buttload of money completly RUINED by a horde of shitty fangirls going "Giruberto-sama! Giruberto-sama", the ripped off my sleeve, cape and one of them stole my hat. I swear I made them cry when I screamed at them who they though they were and that I did not like to be assaulted by that, at least they payed me the fair price and eventually got my funny hat back.
Weeboos, please, I study japanese and I don't go around yelling DESSUUUU or calling everyone "-chan" exept my my best friend who adopted the nick name. But no, it's annoying and it's stupid.
People asking my mail randomly, they are mostly girls who think I'm some dude. I haven't spoken with you once, not even a freaking once, what makes you think I'll give you me E-mail?! Whic, on top, is my real name! Giving away my email and my real name at the same time? No thanks.
People who complain about overused cosplays, yes it's overused but I give a damn, if you do it GOOD I don't care. (This is comming from an Axis Powers Hetalia cosplayer who suffers a lot since it became popular. Damn fangirls)

LOL, I did that thing once, going as "L" with only a tight jeans and blah, only I was pretty joking about it, no way I was going to call that a cosplay.

I can't say alot of things bother me at cons, I've only been to one. xD But, I can say, that the thing that made me "DD:" and then rage later most. was some of the people were very... elitist, I guess?
I was VERY frightened when I went to the con. I don't have good people skills, and then add that to the awe and excitement I had... well. I was a bundle of nerves, really.
So I go to the con, and I really have no idea where tanything is, or anything like that. I asked three people where the bathroom was. >___> The first two looked like me like I was batshit crazy. The third one was actually a sweety, and offered her phone number to me incase I needed any more help. :'3
But all through the con I kept bumping into people who were not very accepting of the newbies. For the longest time I kept think I was just ******** up and being stupid, until I met a few people who were like "lolthosearedouches."
So yeah. Thing I hate the most? Con Elitists.

Wielder of Mighty Pencil! shireishou @ALL :I HATE SMALL CHANGE ROOMLast Saturday at Depok Town Square Event-Jakarta-Indonesia we only get changing room AT TOILET!!!!Its really small. The corridor only around 90cm (3'0") Its damn hot since so many cosplayer AND Toilet user that use the room Can U imagin I must change into this on the room like hell like that? I really not enjoying the cosplay that time. GRRRRRRRRRRRR YES. Usually I change in the hotel room, but when you need to use the toilet (and thus remove your costume and then put it back on) it's awfull. Urgh. Particularly since public bathrooms are never clean, and I hate having my cosplay touch the floor or the toilet. Just urgh. I didn't quote the picture here, but awesome photo. I agree, I cant stand having to change in or use public restrooms when I cosplay, thats why once I get that sucker on it aint comin off till I get home
