I wish I could just walk over and ask, but I doubt they'd give anything out... Well, I doubt they have anything yet, either. XD Hmmm... This will be fun~

It's mutual. And with Vic... I can so see him as Italy. Not in the way I WANT him to do it, but in the way FUNimation's just going to use him anyway. LONG LIVE JAPANESE DUB!!
It said that the DVD will be out in the later part of this year~ I hope they're right, cuz I can't wait! I wants Hetalia to myself~ >.>

I'm happy that we'll be able to get the DVDs in the USA now. And the dubbing companies normallt have the original audio, so we can watch it like that with subs. So, we don't have to watch the "awful" dubbing. biggrin
would they put him in though? He's probably too busy with House...

I knew a thread like this would be made. xD I don't really mind though, since I like the webcomic better. And I heard FUNimation is a pretty good dubbing company. But I guess I'll give it a try. <3

So far, I liked the dubs of FullMetal Alchemist and Ouran High School Host Club, I haven't watched any other FUNimation titles. Those were pretty good. Viz Media is the dubbing company you should look out for. They are awful.

I've yet to watch a FUNimation dub that bothered me. Their dub of Fruits Basket was very good too. Viz can do alright, but generally, they don't do as well as they could.
I'm really curious to see if they dub the music along with the show. In Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club, they had the opening and closeings in English. Yeah, I'm interested to see how they handle Marukaite Chikyuu...
I think they should also include Chris Patton in the dub, who he'll be voiceing, I'm not sure but, I can sorta see him doing someone soft spoken, like Japan or someone else perhaps?
and I think they'll need to find someone as equally diabetes inducing as the original lady who did Chibitalia's voice.

But I wouldn't worry if Vic is doing the dubs since he as a thing with homosexuals if you see what he did with Tsubasa.
A smile to hide the pain.. ╔══════════════╗

i have mixed feelings about this comment. =w=
anyway, back on subject, i do hope Vic gets a role, i kinda like that voice actor :3

I liked Hetalia before it was popular, like I read the comics and such.
Now that Funimation has rights to Hetalia, I'm worried for multiple things.
How are the stereotypes going to work? How will everyone sound in the dub? Hugh Laurie = England FTW. <33 Is the show going to be like Twilight, all popular and over-rated?! (let's hope not. ._.)
Funimation is pretty well in dubs, I just don't wanna lose Marukaite Chikyuu as the ending theme... D:
If I ever do get the DVD, I'll pobably just stick with the Japanese Dubs.

LOL, OH YEAH.
He does those characters, and those characters are usually slashed with another. His fans bring it up and he's like "NO THEY'RE NOT GAY STFU!!"
If he does get a role in Hetalia, he is going to have so much fun! 4laugh

God I hope nothing ever gets as blown up as Twilight, ever. As for stereotypes, if they keep the dialog the same that shouldn't be a problem.
I just dread the day when not even the fans can get along because some of them got in to it later than others, that pisses me off to no end in any fandom. Hopefully it's like Black Lagoon or XXXHolic which are great animes with dubs that never really blew up in a good or bad way.
If only because some close minded people are going to be offended by it, I think we're not facing the next Naruto here or anything. ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●
