Rakaeba was growing anxious with the tension and yet he waited patiently. He could feel the burn of the claw marks against his skin and it kept him alert, not ready to be under those claws once more. Flexing his own as he minded his surroundings. He wanted this path, felt it stir within him like a new awakening. He was still young, had much to learn yet in the ways of his ancestors. But he knew, in every fiber of his being that he was ready to take that step. The light glinted off his odd fur, the thick scruff at his nape still on edge.

Gould wove around the edge listening to the pack in the trees, he wanted to attack but he must wait, must wait for the ample time to do so. He licked his lips still remembering his own fight with his father, he had sent the old man packing would he die here today or be sent in to exile? He wasn't sure which one was worse.

Letting forth a quiet growl and prowling his side in silence, eyes glinting in the moonlight. The wind howling across the sky in the sky, the clouds moving in. Lengthy wisps, like the fur of a great wolf in the sky. A divine being watching them from above.

Gould let a deep breath escape his fangged lips as he watched his eldest son, the boy was no fool, but still, he wished he had seen more of life before this. his eyes narrowed to slits, the time was close for another attack, he copuld feel it.

Rakaeba licked his maw swiftly, his lips curving in a snarl as he growled again. He could tension building like electricity. It was a powerful call.

Golds eyes opened gently and he smiled at his son "you could always walk away you know" he whispers. He wasn't mocking the boy, he could simply feel he wanted to explore the world as he had when he was a pup.
