blob. Teutates is rebellious and independent; he likes to go against the norm of the herd he was brought up in and be his own kind of guy.
While he does not believe in the knightly attitudes many of his family members try their best to emulate, acting with honor and a sense of nobleness has been ingrained in him. It instead has caused him to have his own personal honor code.
think of him as more like a vigilante/batman than uh, police. has his own rules.

Bio wip
Teutates was raised in a family that valued honor and nobleness above all else. All the members were expected to uphold and be a beacon of morality.
Teutates had a pleasant foalhood; he and his older (by not much) brother, Taranis, were inseparable as foals; nearly identical in appearance, the only feature that made the two distinguishable was Teutate's spaded kalona tail. The two stuck together through thick and thin, being raised on the ideas of knightlyhood honor. As the two reached adulthood, however, they would start to veer on their own paths. While Taranis was the role model for the herd in every way, respectable, well-mannered, willing to stand up for others, and an over all gentleman, Teutates saw the knight stereotype to be silly and forcing him to be someone he was not.
Instead, Teutates enacted the family's values with his own twist; he was rebellious and considered snarky, but still strived to protect the weak and act in the interests of what would benefit the whole. Despite their differences, Taranis and Teutates remained best friends, until (Cerise maybe) came about. A beauty that neither had expected to meet, Taranis began to eagerly court her. It would not work for Taranis, however; Cerise fell in love with Teutates quirky but charming personality. It would be the thing that would tear the two brothers apart; upon Cerise's confession of her affection towards Teutates, Teutates reciprocated.
The two brothers both coveted the same mare, and though she had chosen Teutates, Taranis felt betrayed. He was taught to display courtship and intentions where all could see, and Teutates had done the exact opposite - she instead fell for Teutates's more devillish nature. Considering this dishonorable, Taranis spread the news to the family, causing Teutates and the mare to take their leave from the herd.
While Teutates and his betrothed were sure they would be together forever, Teutates found his love for her drifting; to him, she was a childish love that was inseparable due to their circumstances.
At what he would consider his lowest point, he would come across a charming uni named Inola. The more they talked, the more he realized how much they had in common. They would quickly become friends, and Teutates, realizing he's discovered someone he felt truly understood him, ended his relationship with (betrothed's name) and started to pursue a romance with Inola.

Diahart is very guarded about her emotions; she doesn't like to let people on to how she truly feels about a given situation. She strives to maintain a more straight forward, neutral attitude.
Bio wip
After Minali and Kanaloa became lovemates and wanted to raise a family together, a need for a surrogate came to be; this would happen through a nixie named Dagan. The two had two daughters, Diahart and Duulaya. (ask sage about how family is raised)
Diahart was raised listening to her sister, Asha, tell her fascinating stories of her 'adventures' - of gathering great treasures and meeting mesmorizing folks. It left Dia feeling starry eyed and anxious to see this for herself; upon adventuring past her family's territory, she found the world to be rather plain and frankly, the same as her home. This caused the naive young babbin to feel her hopes crushed.
Whereas Duulaya, her shell sister, pursued a circus career, similar to many others in her father's lineage, Diahart found herself to be brooding more at home, disheartened. She started to take on a more neutral outlook and sought to mask her feelings more, so that she couldn't have her feelings hurt again.
