My pont was that that was what Square did. They just started making stuff up.

Felix making up a class to use in this is not at all the same as Square making up a class for their games. The Gun Mage and Songstress dresspheres are not made up, they are differentiations of previous jobs in the Final Fantasy universe. The Songstress is a bard and the Gun Mage is a Blue Mage.

If anyone were to "make s**t up" we would have a lot of people fulfilling the same roles to fit the jobs which they favor most, which is why we have only one person to a job as it is now. If we let Felix make something up, we'll have to let everyone else do it too. Before you know it we'll have tons of mages who all do the exact same thing.

Felix, read the goddamn post. I am not a "beginner" to RPGs. That list is not supposed to be a total list of what is and isn't allowed, it's a set of guidelines to bounce off of. God forbid I forget a precious job or the world will come to an end.

Mysic, tell me what you want, don't give me a list unless what you want is on it.
