Upon FURTHER reading of the books, your DM has spotted something peculiar. But won't say ... yet. As for your stepping into this map, you notice the stone. It is 5 ft high (and costs 2 movement to climb) and can provide cover. The trees also may provide cover for you, should you feel the need to ambush a possible asset. However, as you lot see the area lit, you note something even more peculiar. Something that could have possibly been awful - a trio of bodies (young women, it would appear) near the stone, scattered across the grass. MAPBear in mind what the spirit said.

((Two checks: one for perception, and a religion check to see if there are any religious attachments to the stone))
EDIT: ((+6 makes the perception 17, and +11 on the religion check makes it 30.))

((I work in the morning into the afternoon, so don't expect posts from me until evenings or nights, unless its Tuesday or Wednesday. Mondays I'll be unavailable completely.)) Looking at his companions, Eros would know his duty. "We cannot ignore these girls' plight. They might still be alive! I fear the worse, but hope that they still hold the light of life and love in their hearts, and can be helped." He would take one hesitant step forward, before turning to Arjhan. "Cover me."He would move with haste to the body of the southern-most girl, checking her vitals if she didn't immediately jump up at him or something. For now, his blade would remain sheathed, as to not spook them if they were truly alive and innocent. Quote: Heal check, +14 = 27 . If they are dead, he will not only look for cause of death with the Heal check, but see if there was any Religious (+13 = 14) or Arcane (+8 = 27) significance with their cause of death.

You are all fools. Orilo was right to try and see what was in the area ... for as the avenger approached the bodies ... They weren't dead, Jim. They are dryad slaves ... and they're alive. You hear the screeches and look to the trees as harpy screechers descend from their cover. Roll initiative. ROUND 1 MAPbtw - there's nothing important about the stone.

Of course we're fools. Would we partake of this quest if we weren't?
Initiative + 6 = 8. A foolish initiative.

(Come on; the "they aren't dead yet" stitch was only funny after Holy Grail was released. XD Also, damn. I think its a +4 for initiative...)
(EDIT: Its a +6...weird...so that makes it 13 for me.)

Dion Necurat Wolfram Asher Davidson for your information, i was parodying star trek. cool The point still stands. dion spends one action point in the "talk OOC in a campaign" campaign to correct the DM. cool (lol jk) All to do now as wait on Arc, then i'll 6d20 for initiative with the dryads being first and the harpies second. check your monster manuals and be happy. As for the map, i'll fix locations in the morning.
