Sypher nodded eagerly, the idea of eating making him beam and putting a jump in his step. He flipped his bag around to his front and dug in it, pulling out a box of dumplings to eat as well "Snacks are always in order!" he said cheerfully, eating on one of the buns.

Kaori stifled a giggle as Sypher's stomach growled hungrily and watched as a he downed a snack he had brought along.'He was a kind boy for having so much have happened to him.'

Apollo hit the magical word, snack. Kaori joined Sypher as she twisted her bag to the front of her pulling out a small eloquent box. It held a few snacks inside and she pulled out a small dumpling she had left over from the Shop. She happily nibbled on the sweet bun. She placed the box back into her bag as she adjusted the bag once more upon her shoulders. The dumpling was being savored with the utmost delight. She looked toward Apollo and smiled looking at the peak of the mountain as he did. 'Soon, we will be up there. Hopefully before these weight show their true pain.'

Food brings energy! Sypher thought as he finished off his last few dumplings, chewing them easily "Food is wonderful." he sighed happily, his chakra control over the weights improving as the food entered his system. He was walking normally now despite the weights and seemed very happy with himself for bringing so much food.

Sypher almost fell over as Ken-sensei dashed in front of them, his ears picking up the slice of the kunai through the air. He listened carefully then flicked a look at Kaori "I'll go first. Meet you up ahead. Temple top." he leapt up, kicked off a tree and vanished into the underbrush. His ears were low so they wouldn't be seen and his clothes were the perfect camouflage. Sypher was lying though. He didn't plan to meet up with Kaori but instead would wait till she moved on then, when they were far enough away from Sensei, re-join her. That way neither one would be alone.

In one swift motion her sensei blocked the kunai that spun toward the squad. The whole moment seemed to slow down in her mind as she watched the flicker of the kunai to the movement of her sensei. It was almost seemed unreal. then time sped up to the present and next thing she knew her sensei was ordering them to leave.

Catching a quick glimpse of Sypher taking off quickly. She took one glance at Apollo and took off after Sypher not truly expecting to meet him anywhere. She kept her emerald hues concentrated on the objective.'Rogue shinobi.' With a deep breath she continued on a different path changing paths constantly, but keeping an eye out for directions to the top. She jumped through branches and skid through stairs. Nothing was going to stop her, well until she saw Sypher or Apollo.

Sypher sprinted along the trees above Kaori's head, feet kicking off the bark as he went. He kept his eyes on her and his ears were twitching manically as he listened to everything around him. Every snap, every thump had his ears switching and moving as he leapt down to run along side Kaori "Temple is 23 yards ahead. 473 places to hide. Waaay to many attack points to count." he said under his breath as he ran, his shoulder close to hers.

Kaori nodded at the information Sypher added,"Exactly, only means we must be even more careful. One move wrong and we might be caught off guard." Kaori spoke low and kept up the pace with Sypher as she listened to every snap and saw every movement. Flickers of light truly made her skin crawl under their circumstances. 'Must be careful. We are a team. I watch him he watches me. Sensei shall be close behind I am sure.' Kaori kept her chakra under control with the aid of multitasking.

Sypher's ears went back sharply and he dropped out of the way of several kunai, rolling in the air to avoid them all. He kicked off a tree, bounced upward and landed again by Kaori, keeping his breath under control and his chakra level at his feet "Agreed. Be prepared for bad stuffs." he continued, looking like he was trying not to laugh. It was a serious situation but he couldn't help himself. It was in his nature to giggle about battles and he treated the whole thing like a game, giggling madly until the opponent was dead Shoot! Get your head up, Sypher. You can giggle madly later with your head still attached.

Sypher rolled in the air and concentrated to call upon his blood, feeling the wood stir in his body. He tugged his jacket off, revealing a sleeveless undershirt and he called out to KAori "Kaori-san. I'm going to try and blow some of the traps. If you can provide cover for me and watch my back, I can get a lot of the traps I see." he said cheerfully and took off, moving forward along the path. Daijurin no Jutsu...Great forest technique. he thought and spikes split up through his flesh. The spikes were slender and numerous, making his arms look like porcupines had taken root. The spikes blasted outward and slammed into traps around the two genin, disabling or destroying most of them. The ones that weren't destroyed were easily avoided now that the spikes had ripped much of the foliage off that hid them "Kaori-san? What are your strengths?" Sypher asked as he re-joined her, heading for the right-hand path. Above them, the temple seemed to smile tauntingly.

Kaori carefully dodged random kunai, twirling through the air beautifully. She landed with a gentle step and kicked off even faster before. The weights were the least of her problems at the moment. She followed Sypher as he ordered to watch out for him while he took care of some of the traps. With a nodd she twisted her body in the air to look behind her once before straightening back toward Sypher who had destroyed some of the less obvious traps.

"Swiftness and chakra control at the moment." She explained. She had yet to be given the chance to train her bloodline or any other jutsu for that matter. With a quick evade she followed Sypher to the right.

Sypher's foot slipped on the ground and the explosions went off Well that's pleasant. he scowled as dirt and rocks flew in his face but his ears tightened sharply to prevent any damage. In a slight shift of his hands, Sypher summoned a small forest around his body to protect himself, hoping silently that Kaori managed to protect herself as well. He wasn't going to leave without her This is NOT rogue ninja or enemy ninja. These traps were set beforehand. he thought, then called out "Kaori!? Are you ok?!"
