The nurse had been gone for some time now, Mi having been preoccupied and had not noticed. Getting up from her seat, she glanced at the clip board and moved onto the next person in this ward. She seemed to be in the childrens area now for another child awaited her. This was only a little girl which pulled at Mi's heartstring. Quickly the feeling faded though and she pulled a chair next to the sleeping child. The little girl was yellow and sweating, as the pre teen boy had been earlier. "Cleanse."Mi said, ridding herself of any potentially harmful bacteria. Gently, Mi began to probe the girl's body. There was nothing internally wrong with her but she seemed to have a fever. Pulling back, Mi fell into herself, looking at the girls chart at the foot of her bed. She had collapsed while playing outside, cause unknown. Controled fever. Mi rolled her eyes. A fever could never be controled.
[1/3] Moving her hands over the girl she sucked in a deep breath. This was a little trickier than anything else she had attempted but it was essential that she try and cure her patient. The little girl gasped due to Mi's touch. Mi's petite hand was placed over the girl forhead, her body temperature was scorching"Ondochousetsu."Mi said, moving into the first part of the jutsu. [2/3] The chakra in her hands spread over the length of the girls forehead. Some of the heat could be felt as it was removed from the girl, giving it somewhat balance before it wore off. The fever immediately set in once more. Mi's efforts wasted. Letting out a small growl, Mi attempted this once more. She needed the girl awake to question her. [3/3] Applying chakra, not only to the girls forehead but stomach, chest and legs, Mi watched as the heat waves were transfered into and out of the areas where she had applied the chakra. Touching the girls forehead, Mi was satisfied with the cool down and began rousing the girl. The little girl awoke, slowly. Her eyes were wide as she spotted Mi, the child staring at Mi's odd colored eyes. Children were not like adults who hid their curiosity. "Mrs I feel better now." "That's good. Can I ask you a few questions though?"The little girl nodded, reaching for a stuffed animal that had been burried underneath her as she had slept. "Do you remember what happened before you came here?"The girl nodded slowly."Did you eat anything that made you sick?"She shook her head. Mi was a little put off by her curt responses."What did you do today honey?"Mi asked, trying to get the girl to come out of her shell. "I played outside with my dollies.""All day?""Yes. My mommy let me play by the weapon maker today. I threw up so they didn't let me play anymore and told me to go home." Finally something concrete."Was it hot outside today?"Mi asked her, the difference between children and adults was huge. "Yes." Mi smirked, having finally figured out why she was like this. Heat exhuastion. Writing it on her little stats board, Mi poured the girl a cup of water. "When the doctors come they will make you feel even better ok?"She nodded, taking the offered cup and drinking.

Mi was unsure how long she had stayed in the hospital but the girl awoke, her arm stiff from it's bent position and having had Mi's head laying on it for an extended period of time. The young woman had fallen asleep, her body giving out on her before her mind had. A staff member had been kind enough to place her cloak over her body, for it had been lying across the seat of a chair facing opposite to her. Looking around, Mi felt a little dazed and sluggish. Truth be told, she hadn't had a proper nights sleep in awhile and that nap had felt like a gift from above. Slowly getting to her feet, she pushed in the chair and shoved the books into her bag, the books she had been reading right before she had fallen asleep. Gathering the clip board, Mi stretched, walking out into the hall that she was becoming more and more familiar with. "Hello."She greeted one of the passing nurses on duty. They nodded to her, also getting used to her persistent presence there. Mi searched for the main nurse who had given her the clip board some time ago. Mi's training was at a stand still now. She could not practice mixing herbs without a guide and she could not practice cutting someone with a scalpel. These were all things she needed to observe and practice with guidance from a teacher. Spotting the nurse, Mi followed after her, the woman pausing to let her catch up. “So, have you gotten enough practice in?” She asked Mi, who swallowed back a rude comment. "No. I need to observe the professionals now. Is there any doctor here who is willing to let me watch?"Mi asked boldly, her toneless voice almost getting interpreted as boredom. The lead nurse scoffed, impressed with her directness. “Sure. They have noticed you around and guessed as much. Go up to the IC unit. To the left you can find some rooms with metal doors. Go into the middle of the three and you will walk down the hall to a doctor who specializes in critical examinations and minor surgeries.” Mi bowed her respects, walking away with quick steps. It seemed almost too good to be true.
Arriving at the IC ward, she asked for direction and was soon walking down the hallway towards another room. There were minimal machines here and expansive room to make it look even more forlorn. At the center, around a large circle was an operating table and equipment all around. Mi spotted another set of doors at the end and walked across the room into the next room. A doctor was there, donned in interesting looking scrubs. “Are you the trainee?” He asked her, Mi nodding slowly in response. “Great. Well, there isn’t much you can really do for the moment. We have a minor surgery coming in, if you don’t mind observing a surgery you can stand off to the side.” Mi nodded once more, finding her luck to be holding out just fine. After properly cleansing herself, Mi was allowed into the room, the doctor and a team of two others were already working on the patient who was asleep. The doctor did not notice Mi’s presence until the girl was practically behind him, watching over his shoulder. He turned to glance at her, smiling behind his mask. “Our Jutsu is probably a little advanced for you but you can watch”. He said, all of his team gathering and beginning. As Mi watched, her innards twisted slightly. The doctor was making an incision with his learned Chakra scalpel. Mi had expected blood to squirt out in volume but it did not, surprising the girl. Fascinated she watched quietly. The procedure was quick and done with much ease. This was something she was going to try on her own of course. She would probably practice on herself again. Leaving before the doctor could question her, she went to find the brake room she had been hiding in.

[1/5] Recalling what the doctor had done Mi prepared herself mentally for the task at hand. It was probably going to hurt a lot. At least she was in a hospital. If something went wrong she could always just go to one of the staff. They would yell at her but there wasn’t much they could do beside that. Taking a seat she let out a deep breath and began. First thing first. Mi knew she had to gather a significant amount of chakra in her hands. That alone took quite enough time and concentration in itself. Slowly going through the needed hand signals, she activated her chakra, physically pushing out a quick spurt into her hands.
[2/5] Mi had called upon way too much chakra, the light red glow of her chakras physical appearance engulfed her hands completely, spilling over onto her arms. Small cuts began to form on her arm, a backfire of her misguided effort. Wincing she cut off the flow, realizing she was going to have to try going at this a lot slower than she had been with the other techniques. First she needed to seal up her injuries, for fear of bleeding out. Once she had self coagulated her blood she wrapped to thick rings of bandage on her arms, adding more pressure. Already Mi had a bandage on her right arm from the kunai practice earlier. So many bandages. Getting over her decoration, Mi tried once more. Going through the needed hand signals, she called upon her chakra, guiding it towards her hands slowly. The red glow of her chakra engulfed her hands, the raw energy flickering lazily as she continued to feed her chakra into her hands.
[3/5] The chakra concentration was just right. Pleasing Mi greatly. Nothing was backfiring on her that was a good sign. There was just one small little issue. How did one even know if you were doing this technique properly? Gulping she moved one of her hand over her left arm, inches from touching the skin. This was going to hurt a lot. She already could foresee the outcome. Sucking in a lungful of air she released it through gritted teeth and quickly placed her hand on her arm. Expecting searing pain, she was a little taken back when she felt nothing at all. Letting her concentration slip, the chakra she had gathered disappeared, Mi flexing her arm to see if she had done anything to herself. After a quick diagnosis she realized she had failed in her technique and started from scratch once again.
[4/5] Slowly going through the hand signals, she activated her chakra, her hands ocne again being engulfed in flowing chakra. This time something felt a little different. There was a stiffness she could feel in her hands, as if they had solidified into something else completely. She was probably doing to correctly now. This meant that this time it was going to hurt a lot. Mentally preparing herself for the self inflicted pain she was going to inflict on herself she held that blazing hand over her arm and then quickly touched it. Pain ran up her arm as she felt her muscles tear, or something rip. It was excruciating. Mi yelling out in pain. Her flow of chakra ceased as she doubled in on herself, cradling her arm. She did something right this time. Shaking Mi pushed the pain to the back of her mind, knowing that in order to consider it learned she was going to have to check and see if she could break the bone, which required more power and control.
[5/5] Gritting her teeth Mi bit back another scream as she slowly went through the hand signals. It seemed to take her years to finish that one combo, the young kunoichi activating her chakra once she had completed the circuit. The red chakra was steadily fed into her right hand, Mi moving it over her already injured left arm. Aiming for a bone that was easy to heel, she quickly touched her arm. Excruciating was not even part of her vocabulary at that point in time as Mi let out a long stream of curses, ending in her falling out of her chair and screaming in pain. The bone had been sliced through; she knew it from the pain she was feeling. Squeezing her eyes shut, she gritted her teeth to keep herself from screaming anymore. A nurse ran into the room, spotting Mi immediately. “What on earth are you…”"I broke it!! ."She said, not even trying to hide the fact that it was stupid to even attempt it on oneself. Not to mention it seemed almost masochistic. The nurse was at a loss of what to say but quickly moved into action, moving to Mi’s side and helping her up.

Mi lazed about in a daze, sitting on a chair that accompanied a room in the hospital. The young woman’s self admittance was creating quite the stir in the ward. Every time a nurse poked their head into her room, Mi knew they were confirming with their own eyes the rumor that was going around. Narrowing her eyes, the girl looked down at her arm, which was folded nicely into a sling that was supported by her neck and tied nicely at the nape. The calcium pill that had been forced into her mouth earlier was making her feel clammy and irritated. Her bone ached at the area where she had done a number on herself already. Unfortunately for Mi, there was not way to really heal the tissues in her arm until the bone set properly. She was going to have to wait a few days before she could self heal and get back to her training. Not that it mattered but Mi was told not to even think about training in her current condition. "Fat chance..."The girl said to herself, scowling out the window as she waited impatiently for her belongings. The lead nurse that had helped her when she had gotten to the hospital entered the room briskly, Mi's cloak and bag in her hands. "Before we let you go on your merry little way Missy. I need to know why on earth you would attempt that on yourself! Good grief. I didn't take you to be the theatrical type." Mi gave the lead nurse a reproachful look but felt resigned to meekly sigh. "I have no sensei. It would have taken way too long to wait for someone to guide me through it. I figured once I had seen what the doctor had done I would be alright."The nurse simply shook her head, handing Mi her items back. Mi stood, awkwardly trying to throw her cloak over her shoulders. The nurse saw her dilemma and assisted her. "Well, one things for sure. We will have the laugh of a century for days to come." She pitched in, noticing Mi narrowing her eyes at her. Patting her head, the nurse bounded off, moving way too quickly for someone at her age. Sighing, Mi got to her feet. It was a waste but she was going to have to do something less active than before. It was probably better to just trying mixing herbs to make

[1/3] It didn’t take long for Mi to acquire someone who could guide her through mixing herbs and other compounds in order to create medicines. Leading her to the back of the hospital, Mi followed the small botanist out the back door and into a green house. Rows and rows of different collections were gathered at the entrance, the rarer plants kept in their own rooms that snaked off at the end of the green house room. “Well. Since you are starting out it’s best to go with the easiest of the lot. For instance, the root from this plant, when crushed can be made into a fine white powder. It’s sweet to the taste and can be digested easily.”"What does it do?"Mi asked, watching as the woman uprooted one of the bundles and held the plant and root above Mi’s head for the girl to see. “It is a mild sedative, commonly used on people who can’t sleep. Goes nicely with tea as well. Seeing as your arm is out, why don’t you try mashing it up. That should keep you busy enough.” She finished, handing Mi the uprooted plant and pushing her towards a table at the back, which guarded the doors to the rarer of plants. [2/3] Settling down, Mi set the plant down and fished a clay bowl from a rack on the table. The botanist peered over Mi’s shoulder, clicking her tongue immediately once the girl started mashing them with her uninjured hand. “You forgot to cut the stem off! You can’t mix it with the roots powder!.”"Why not!!"Mi barked back, frustrated that she was going to have to start over again. “Because! If you mix that it liquidizes and the powder mixes with that solution, creating a laxative. Watch.” The botanist pushed Mi’s hand away and began mashing her already mashed creation. Mi watched the woman work, impressed with her skill. Soon, an odd colored mixture pooled at the bottom of her bowl. “You just want the powder. Try again.” Mi held back any snide comments and went to fetch another of the plants, instantly regretting it. As she skimmed the various plants she dually noted they all looked similar to one another."Which one?"She asked, her tone much more subdued than before. [3/3] The botanist came over to her side, looking down at the patch she stood before. “These are not it. These are called Butterbur. They are used to create mild solutions that help ease the pain of migraines and headaches. The root holds the most potent of the solution. Follow me.” Mi trailed behind the busy woman who instantly found the plant they had started with. Handing it to Mi, the young woman walked back to the table, cutting off the plant and leaving the root. She mashed it for quite some time until it was all but fine powder. Calling the botanist over, the woman carefully inspected her work and flashed her a smile. “Perfect. You can keep this with you. Your first official creation! How exciting!” Mi blushed a little, feeling a little proud of herself in that moment.

Taking a break and getting out of the Green house, Mi stretched, her uninjured hand reaching for the sky. The tender area where her scar was on her lower abdomen seemed to ache a little bit. Placing a hand absentmindedly over it she seemed a little thoughtful. Had she known what she did now she could have saved herself from acquiring such an interesting scar but she was growing fond of it. It was kind of daring and distinguishing. A strange wind blew at that moment, causing the pale girl to coax her head to one side and look about her. It was as if it was calling her attention. Spacing out, she started walking, going down wind and following the flow. It wasn't until she reached an area where trees lined the row that she tuned back in, looking around her once again. Her attention was held suddenly by an all to familiar appearance of a person she had known as Roly Poly. He was resting against a tree. She stood there for a second, a little unsure of whether or not it was alright to approach him. Figuring that it wouldn't hurt she made her way over to him, standing before him, her shadow casting over him. It was until she was standing before him that she took notice of the shape he was in. He was bleeding and worse for wear. Her brows furrowed."You look like crap."Mi muttered. He could be in critical condition for all she knew yet she was joking around. Silently she reproached herself. She couldn't help him unless she had both hands. Sucking in a big gulp of air, she untied the sling from around her neck and let it drop. Slowly, she straightened out her arm, the pain was enough to cause her to flinch. If the nurses caught her they would let her have it. Expertly going through her hand signals she first used Cleanse in order to make sure she didn't get any bacteria into his wounds. "Healing hands."She muttered, the flow of her chakra was visible in her hands then, flickering like an eerie type of transparent flame." Don't move..."She warned, approaching him then.

She wasn't too talkative, while she fixed him up, one good thing which would keep things a bit simpler. She hadn't practiced quite much, not that he knew, and he wasn't certain where exactly it was that she was getting it. Nonetheless, moments of silence seemed to die away beneath the sudden question. Why hadn't he checked himself in? There wasn't much to worry about it, but then of course..
"I have a promise I have to keep," the monk answered the medical ninja. Hopefully, she wasn't going to be stubborn about most of this, otherwise he was going to have to force his way out one way or another. "Can't rest til I fulfill my promise, Mi. This is too much even."
It was hard to believe he had even resorted to this. His master had been a true man. Someone of indomitable will, he'd walked on after wounds taken again and again. Bruises and cuts. Broken bones meant nothing to him. Only his honor and his word. Nothing short of death had stopped him, and likewise, it shouldn't have stopped him.

The girl was silent another few moments. She'd been working him over the whole way, and at long last, the tense silence was interrupted by her. She instructed him on his current condition, and all there was. Scarring wasn't an issue, not when one danced with swords. Scars weren't the same as stumps, and that was that. He nodded carefully, each time she began a new statement. Bruises to stay. Cleaning and closing. If it weren't for her, he'd probably be locked up and walking out with more wounds than he had come in with.
"I came to say goodbye," the monk spoke simply, "I'm going to my master's grave for a short while. I have something I promised I'd get, and you're the only one I've had a chance to speak with since I got back. Guessing you'd be here was my only shot."
He was rising to his feet, making sure he could stand well enough. He wasn't sure how long it'd take him to get there and back again, but upon his return, it'd be all the better. He'd be ready for just about anything, in defense of the village he was sworn to. He was loosely acquainted with the people of the village, due to his return here. Most he had known were off to other things. That wasn't something for him to worry about now though, his goofy grin showing up again.
"Wanted to promise you I'd be back, ya know?"

The look on her face was ever so odd. She was far more confused than he could ever have thought possible, or at least thought possible for her to display. Nonetheless, he watched her, when she spoke of not getting him. Understanding.
"Well, understanding one another is half the fun, or so someone wise once told me," Alzayr laughed, as he stretched a bit. He was still sore, but he wasn't bleeding anymore, that much was certain. "Another one told me a promise is a man's reason to not lose one's self."
Both his master's wisdom. The man had imparted much, and it was more than he could do. One day, the monk hoped to be able to say such wise things without much worry of whether or not it was right. Wisdom in his own right. His confident grin remained however. The one thing he could tell himself for certain was one thing and one thing only. A grin made everything better, be it bitter medicine, or a grim goodbye.
"I'll swing by again whenever I get back. Right here. Maybe you'll have me figured out then," Alzayr laughed, "If not, we'll repeat the vicious cycle. Sound good?"
